I would give Prodigy 5 stars . The move out team arrived on time and was incredibly organized, professional and careful with my belongings. By far - prodigy is the absolute Best of the Best moving company your money can buy , hands down !! Abby laid down what the cost would be up front so there were not any surprises. This is the company you want to use for your move .

Excellent. First, setting up the appointment with Abby was easy and clear. Abby helped us decide which services best fitted our needs, the amount of time the move could take, and an approximate cost. Most importantly, we had to change the moving schedule a few days beforehand, but Abby was able to make it work. Abby sent emails that followed up on our conversation, which detailed the cost, what was to be expected, and how to best prepare for moving day. Abby also gave me the best hourly rate available - even after I found coupons online. Abby took excellent care of us through the entire process. Moreover, she called and emailed us after the move to see how everything went, and whether our expectations were met. We were happy to tell her that we couldn't be more pleased. As for the movers, Jesus Mendoza and the Crew were EXCELLENT! They were focused and had great attitudes, and they worked incredibly hard. Most importantly, they were polite, respectful, and courteous to my family. First, they arrived just after 0800 and got started right away with a walk-thru so that they can get the general idea of how they were going to organize. Jesus asked me if I had any questions or concerns, and then they got started with the move. During the move they worked efficiently and didn't waste any time. They boxed my loose items (lamps, bags, baskets, etc.) into large crates and loaded them onto the truck. They carefully, but quickly, wrapped all the furniture so that it fit neatly without stacking everything on top of it, and they took it apart and put it back together if needed. They were careful with fragile items, and I was impressed by their skilled service. After they finished loading, each team member and I walked through the house checking for anything left behind. At the new place, the guys were just as careful and efficient. They laid down a plastic "walkway" throughout the entire house, leading into each room so to not damage the wood floors or the carpet. Also, they were careful not to rub walls, counters, etc., which was so important to us. My family directed them as to where each box and piece of furniture went, and they worked in an efficient military manner putting everything in its rightful place. In the end, everything was in order and where it should be. Nothing was damaged - not even a scratch. We couldn't be more pleased. These guys worked incredibly hard. Compared to other movers in the past, they were beyond expectations, and we'll definitely use them again. I would recommend Prodigy Moving and Storage with certainty. They were excellent, and we truly appreciate their service.

OMG! This company is fantastic! Great customer service from star to finish ! I found them through yelp and was also referred to them by my good friend. I called in and spoke to Shelly. She gave me a quote over the phone and answered all my questions. She was honest and told me I should go with 5 movers verses 4 because I have tons of stairs leading to my home. That had definitely saves me money and time. Our foreman was Ivan, he was phenomenal. He truly made sure that everyone on the team was doing what they were supposed to. All these guys worked their butts off. They worked so fast and efficiently not only that but they Handle everything with care. I will definitely be using them for future moves !

These guys are no joke. They arrived right on time and got right to work. My furniture was well protected and they even had tools to take everything apart. I have some heavy furniture and stairs to deal with but these guys managed with ease. Highly recommend! They made moving so easy and quick, it was awesome. Thanks Fernando and crew your the best.

The move was so great. I'm a busy person but the service was so outstanding I promised I'd write them a review. Since I had to leave for work short notice I had them pack my belongings and take it to their storage with them. My lease was ending so it was so much more convenient than paying another months rent when I wasnt even going to be home. Luckily when I returned I found a place pretty soon. They were able to accommodate the day I wanted which was awesome since it was the last spot. Score. But everything of delivered in one piece. Big thanks to the office people who made this move happen with ease and the Noah and the crew for being so quick and hardworking.

Prodigy Rocks! I am beyond satisfied with the services. I spoke to Veronica who was really nice and patience with helping me get a quote and answer all my questions she was super informative. Ask for her when you get a quote! A lot of other companies I called didnt give nearly as much detail. The guys came out on day of Marcos was the foreman really nice he kept all the guys in line and boy did they hustle! It felt like the move was over in a flash. I had trouble trying to keep up with them. Nothing was damaged, super happy about that. Thanks again for all the help guys definitely referring you to EVERYONE!

This company did a great job! From the beginning there was great customer service with Veronica on the phones. She provided all the information I needed and emailed me everything I needed for this move. The guys that showed up were Terrific! They were on time and were hard working. They did more then asked with helping us get everything out on a timely fashion. They put everything in storage neatly and even helped to bring stuff back to the office that needed to come back. The whole time they were very professional. I would recommend this company again and use them again. Thank you Benjamin and your crew for all your help!

The team Prodigy sent to us was amazing. They arrived on time and ready to work. We only had maybe 60 percent of our packing done, so they went straight to work. I had friends that had a positive experience with them, so I decided to give them a try. I'm sure glad I did. It was a long day of packing and moving an amazing amount of things- from heavy furniture, to my upright piano, and my 400 pound safe! The 4 gentlemen they sent were professional and hard working. We haven't found a single broken item yet. I felt their pricing was fair. They had an amazing work ethic and I have recommended them to several of my friends and neighbors... not to mention they did all of this on a holiday weekend! Great Job!!

We had the WORST moving experience ever using this company! We have moved a lot throughout the years including overseas and across many States. I chose Prodigy due to their Angie's List reviews and couldn't believe the ridiculous and careless experience their crew provided us. I had left a couple of boxes open to put the last few pieces into and they kept trying to box them up and take them despite me telling them over and over I didn't want those couple of boxes to go and to please collect the rest of the ready-to-move items sitting there. In the end I couldn't control their rushing about everywhere and those boxes were removed giving me a problem of the last few things I wanted to chuck into them. We had our own U-haul and explained that most items would be going into ours and some into theirs to be unloaded, we had labeled things explaining which truck to move them onto and were giving them instructions, but they just kept trying to get it done so quickly that I could see them being careless and not putting things in the correct truck; my father-in-law actually had no bed for the night after our move since we couldn't get to it in our loaded up truck since we had specifically stated that was to go on their truck, so it could be unloaded and instead they had buried it in ours. We asked them no less than 15 times to please slow down, that we weren't in a rush and were happy to pay for as long as it took to get the job done in an orderly and less chaotic manner, it wasn't until they had broken a piece off of our $900 dining room table and scratched it all making us finally tell them off that they began to take their time and care more. The main guy on the crew came to look at the table and had the audacity to proclaim that our table wasn't broken, after seeing the broken wood pieces he then said it was a mickey mouse piece and didn't do anything anyway, it was actually the wood piece that stops the leaf moving too far and falling out when the table is extended to full size, so it absolutely has an important use. I had to have a friend physically go and put some of the outdoor furniture onto their truck because despite my instructions (about 8 times) to please load those things onto their truck they for some reason didn't want to.. After loading up the trucks we said for them to follow us (we were moving 10 minutes north of where we lived), they then told us they were going to have lunch for an hour which of course after ur experience with them we were not going to accept them taking some of our belongings with them in their truck off to lunch for an hour, so we asked our friend to follow them and wait for them to have their lunch before following them to our house, since we did this in front of them they then decided they didn't want to be watched (this to us said our suspicions may have proven correct) and so they stopped by 7-11 for a quick sandwich instead of taking a long lunch. It only took 45 minutes for them to unload the stuff in their truck since the majority was in our truck and they were done for the day anyway. The company did offer us 1 hour compensation back and sent someone with the glued piece of the table and a retoucher for the scratches, so although once something is damaged you can't get it back to the way it should be at least it looks much better now. Overall the crew we got rushed us so much we hated the whole move, that along with them breaking our furniture, trying to immediately lie about doing so then saying the piece didn't do anything etc means I would never recommend this company ever to anyone I know.

Everything went really well overall! Abby who helped us book the moving service was very responsive and helpful by answering all of my questions. The crew of people who moved all of my belongings were very professional and efficient. The only issue was that one of the guys did not screw in our bed frame correctly. However, once we realized this, we called up the company and the manager of the company scheduled someone to come to our house and fix the problem. Obviously, it was annoying that the bed frame was put together wrong however because they fixed the problem immediately without charge without questions asked I believe that shows an exceptional level of customer service.

The move went really well. Abby who handled the details on logistics and pricing was sweet and very diligent when we spoke and over email. Edwin, the foreman, was buttoned up, professional and moved the crew quickly. I expected the move to take less time than it did, but don't feel the team was ever moving slowly or dragging. Moving just takes more time than expected, always. Every ask was attended to and we were into the new place by the afternoon with all our stuff, undamaged.

This was the best moving company we ever had! From the beginning when Elia came to give us a not to exceed estimate. We had Marcos and his crew come out and these guys worked hard to move our entire 3 bedroom house into a new house. Marcos was wonderful, had he treated our home with respect protecting the wood floors and belongings. I HIGHLY recommend this company! They work hard and we were under the do not exceed price!

Ezekiel and his crew were prompt, professional and efficient. I was worried about two heavy items coming down the stairs in a tight space. They amazed me and made it look so easy. My family just completed a cross country move here to LA with me where that move was $30k. This local move was for a small amount of personal belongings. We are renting now and will have to move again in 3-10 months (depending on the market and search for a house). I will definitely call Prodigy first and request a bid for this move.

All went well. Came a little late (but within agreed time frame). Nothing broken. Nice bunch of guys as with my prior move (also with Prodigy). Noah, the team leader was particularly nice and helpful. No issues whatsoever. Will use their services again.

I was referred to this company by a friend and Angie?s List. From start to finish things went great. My first contact when I called was with veronica, she gave me pricing and explained what to expect. I had a very good experience both days. I was very pleased with Noah the foreman. He was constant and made sure things ran smoothly. In addition to Veronica and Noah, I feel that all of the workers in the two days worked very hard, were efficient, professional and polite.

It was good. Their punctuality was an A but it took a long time. On the other hand, the house I was moving from did not have an elevator. They seemed like an honest, hardworking, efficient moving company.

Arrived on time and moved 10 pieces of furniture (upstairs and downstairs) . Next day received a follow up call checking on our satisfaction. A+

Love these guys. The receptionist who set it up was wonderful and the three guys who performed the move were amazing. They were very careful with all my things and did an exceptional job packing my storage unit as they knew I had more stuff to move in there. They worked fast and hard but never carelessly. I will definitely call them when I'm ready to move again.

The company was as good as every previous A review given to it by other customers. From the very beginning, when Illya arrived to not only give me an estimate for the company's services, but answered a boat load of questions...through the team of six men, led by Martin, who actually made the move...I have only marvelous things to say. As anyone knows who has moved after many years in the same residence, it is a harrowing process at best. However, Prodigy made it such a fluid and professional transition...not to mention at warp-speed, that it relieved me of any former concerns that I had. Martin even went above and beyond to ensure that my furniture not only arrived at the new house in the same manner it left the previous one...but was even kind enough to fix wobbly legs on two cherished antiques. I have nothing but praise for all six men, who were friendly, accommodating, and were obviously very professional and practiced in the way they were able to get everything wrapped carefully and securely before taking it out of the house. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone and everyone out there, who would like to have a large part of their anxiety alleviated by hiring such skilled professionals. They are definitely a five star company...but since I had to use 'grades' instead...they have a giant A+++ from me.

We chose two highly rated moving companies to provide bids. After leaving the particulars of our move from a staffer, Iliya from Prodigy contacted me right away and came out to look at our property and provide a bid, which he did before he left. He also was very patient in answering all of my questions - and there were many! We divided our move into three separate moves: 1) Two rooms of furniture and numerous boxes of belongings to go into storage at their facility 2) The remainder of our furniture and belongings moved from Thousand Oaks to our San Diego apartment. 3) Storage items to be moved to our home in San Diego (when we buy it) We chose Prodigy over the other company for the following reasons: 1) Prompt service. The other company rescheduled the estimate several times before coming over. 2) It took several days to get the estimate from the other company, and it wasn't done in the separate steps above as I requested. 3) The price was over 2X what Prodigy was charging. So far, Prodigy has done moves 1 and 2. Move 3 will happen when we buy a house in San Diego County. Iliya offered money -saving tips: 1) Use a local mover for the move from the San Diego apartment to the new home we are going to purchase instead of using them, as it would be more expensive. 2) Some boxes and packing materials were included at no extra charge, but Iliya suggested that we go elsewhere to buy extras, as it would cost less if we did. (We ended up going to U-Haul.) The move from our house to storage went quickly and painlessly! As for the move to San Diego, we clearly weren't ready. Although we had planned to pack most everything ourselves, we underestimated how much stuff we had! We decided to leave the washer, dryer and refrigerator that we originally planned to put in storage, but we still had so much more to pack. Our crew - Ezequiel, Lalo, Lalo Jr. and David - went to work and really hustled! Wrapping dishes and glassware, wrapping items sturdily, putting boxes together at lightning speed - they had the rest of our 2400+ square foot home's contents packed and on the truck in less than three hours! By the time I arrived at our new apartment for the walk-through, the movers were already there and waiting! All I had to do was tell them which furniture went into which room, and they laid out the furniture in the best possible places, as by this point I was way too tired to make those decisions! :-) In the meantime, they moved their truck several times for neighbors to get through, and were pleasant and accommodating to everyone. And the best part? They didn't break anything. They didn't track anything onto the carpets. It all went as smoothly as it could, even though we weren't ready, thanks to these four guys!!!!

The movers showed up on time and were professional. None of my items were damaged and they also were very fast in moving from one place to the other. I will be using them again.

Benjamin and crew were great. Very helpful and efficient. There were some items that I had not finished packing and they helped me get the items safely packed up and moved. They also packed my flat screen TV, several large pieces of artwork, and dismantled a large dining table. They had to take a door off of its hinges to get some of the furniture out of one of the rooms, which they did with no problem and re-hung the door. I had a lot of books and miscellaneous items - probably more than the average apartment dweller, so I'm not an "easy" move. But they handled all of my stuff with care. This is my second move with Prodigy and I highly recommend them.

All went superbly well. Edwin and his team (David, Ricardo, Eric) arrived about 15 minutes into the 9am-11am arrival window. As requested, they brought and laid down runners in the apartment as well as in the hallways and on the stairs to protect the newly laid wood flooring in the condo and the magnesite finish in the hallways/stairs. The team was very careful when bringing furniture and boxes into the unit. The best thing: They put casters on the feet and bottoms of all furniture--without even being asked to do so! I highly recommend this company and would use them again in the future.

I worked with Prodigy end of last year when I sold my home. At that time I put the majority of my belongings into storage and took just a few things with me. Once I was ready to move again I called Prodigy. As with the first time, I spoke with Veronica, who was extremely knowledgeable and attentive. I told her how much I enjoyed working with Ben and his team and asked if it were possible to work with them again. I'm happy to say it was. The morning of my move Ben, Escobar and Blada showed up on time and ready to get to work. They made two pick ups, one at my storage facility at another where I was living. Since Ben was the one who put my belonging into storage it was a breeze loading everything into the truck. All had been put away in a very organized manner. Once we arrived at my new house I was pleased to see Ben put floor covering down to protect my new carpet and tile. From there the team unloaded in a very professional manner. They asked where they should put boxes and offered to help move furniture. They were great. I can't say enough nice things about Prodigy. The entire staff has a level of customer service that is rarely seen nowadays.
