Description of Work: I had a 3 panel sliding patio door put in. The door was a Milgard product and I guess that's who I have an issue with. 2 of the panels are defective. One has scratches between the panes and the other already has condensation between the panes. Norman windows contacted Milgard who then called me the next day but they can't come out until February to fix it. I feel there should be better quality control. These doors should never have been delivered let alone installed in their present condition.

Description of Work: All of our windows and sliding glass doors were replaced (12 total) and everything was finished in one day. The original crew did the majority of the work, but at the end of the day, when there was still work to be done, additional staff joined the crew to finish on time! Very professional staff who worked tirelessly until the entire job was completed. Excellent company and customer service. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking for new windows.

Description of Work: I contacted Newman Windows based on a friend's recommendation. Their representative came out and in addition to being knowledgeable, gave me an estimate for Milgard Tuscany windows far below what another company bid, which I had already thought was a great deal. I had Newman replace 10 windows and a sliding patio door. Their installers were friendly, professional and super fast, completing the entire job in a day and a half. The new windows were nicely installed, caulked and sealed. I would definitely recommend them to friends.

Description of Work: We had eight retro-fit windows installed. The saleman was punctual, polite and very detailed oriented (John). We had three estimates, all on Angies list; the Newman representative did not make any negative comments about the competitors, which I respect. The office people were polite and accomodating, the dates, price and installation times were dead on. The installers (Mat and Sandy) were excellent, neat, on-time, courteous and friendly. I love the windows and would highly recommend Newmans to be considered for window replacement - I'm sure they do doors just as well.

Description of Work: Salesman / Orange County showroom manager was a pleasure to work with. Very professional, helpful and on time when he came to give the estimate. However, this company's Orange County showroom is small and doesn't have much to see in it. Went with a another brand of window from a different company.

Description of Work: My condo building requires a window brand that Newman didn't represent. Even though Newman Windows couldn't do this job, Greg spent time talking with me about what the job involved, gave me lots of helpful advice, and even took a few measurements for me! This company was all around professional, very informative and a great resource. I feel like I've just made a new friend and wish I could have hired them!

Description of Work: We had a leaking window. The representative from Newman, upon inspection, isolated what he believed to be the issue (he turned out to be correct). He then recommended that I contact the window manufacturer and builder to see if the repair would be under warranty before replacing the window (which would have been expensive). I appreciated his honesty and as it turned out, the builder fixed the issue for no charge and the window no longer leaks.
