Their timeliness was excellent, they had very quick response when I gave them a call. He was very thorough in checking things out and he was ready to go. Their prices were very fair and the quality of his work was above average and I was satisfied with it, I am very happy with the results. I am having them come back out and do other work because I am having trouble with something. There is room for improvement, they could be a little more detail oriented and improve communication, with them but I would consider calling them again a bid on other projects I needed to do.

I took three names from Angie's List and emailed a request for a quote describing the job I needed. Two responded, but only one returned my call promptly. Howard made an appointment within two days and had an estimate in my hands a day after that. He helped in areas I was unfamiliar with, including measuring up the correct cabinet modules. The crews that came out to perform the work were very friendly, professional, prompt, and very skilled. Some custom molding needed to be cut for my ceiling as there were some bows on the surface. The invoice was spot on to the estimate. I will be using this company for all the rest of my home upgrades.

Howard's guys showed up promptly, finished the work quickly, did a great job matching existing texture. Almost can't tell work has ever been done in the area. Since my job was relatively small, he was able to work it into his existing schedule. His bid was 1/3 of some of the other bids I got, and the work was very professionally done so I have no complaints. Also great having a contractor who uses email, in addition to answering his cell phone! (not always the case...). I highly recommend using Howard Lamcke.

From the beginning phone call to the completed work Howard and his staff were responsive, prompt, courteous, competent and professional. New things kept cropping up for him to do, and he -- or his workers -- showed up when they said they would and did the job. Very pleased with everything they did. Delighted to have discovered him through Angie's List. Will continue to call on him probably in the new house as well.

Howard is very personable and honest. I was impressed at the estimate where he told me that I didn't need to redo the tile in a shower that it was perfectly good (when another contractor told me that I needed to because he could tell that there must be water leakage behind the tiles). I had Howard Lamcke construction do my bathrooms first to see how I liked them. Everything went great on schedule and budget. Which I must say was lower than other estimates. So I hired them back for the big job: the kitchen. Things started on schedule. The workers arrived on time and always cleaned up very well. Howard, his sons and all the other guys were fun to have around. When things weren't quite to my liking, or something did not go exactly right, Howard was very quick to get out here and make it right. The kitchen was only delayed by my changing my mind on a couple of things and having to wait for delivery. They were patient with that as well. The kitchen is gorgeous and we're happy.

The construction completed was excellent. Howard dealt with all the obstacles and permits with ease. We were on budget. We were on schedule for the most part. Most construction was completed by 8/31, our target completion date. We started on 7/11. We had a few fit and finish items to complete in September and passed inspection for all bathrooms by early October. I highly recommend Lamcke construction. Their prices were competitive with other bids we received, the quality of work is excellent (best we've experienced so far), and he was very responsive to our questions. You will have peace of mind that your project will go well. We thought he did such a good job on our bathrooms, we also hired him to replace our front door.

I searched hard for true professional contractor, who would be able to deliver high quality services on schedule and offering maximum flexibility without crossing budget lines. I am very pleased with the high quality of work and with the efficiency this contractor handled the projects in my house. Howard has always been flexible in negotiations and the work scope, candid and reasonable in his estimates, knowledgeable and professional. And finally, very punctual in delivering high quality products and services. With his help, we were able to remodel two bathrooms without crossing our budget limits and without any delays.

The provider has provided the most fair quote for the services, took into account our desire to get max out of our budget. The crew demonstrated a highly professional approach, even in such details as showing up on time, working until evening, and sticking to the communicated schedule. The contractor demonstrated rather impressing flexibility in accommodating all our wishes. He has recommended very good channels for getting tile, mantel, etc. Another important point was that there were no unexpected late charges, and the outcome was a high quality remodeled bathroom and a fireplace.

Lamcke was very professional in their work. They arrived on time to start work and left the areas clean for the night. Lamcke recommend several firms to interview for cabinets and countertops. He skillfully coordinated all aspects of the project and came in on time and budget. We were living in the house at the time of the work and his workers were very respectful of this.

They have excellent skills, and have very reasonable pricing. The company has very good, and knowledgeable skills. They do an excellent job on my bathroom. The bathroom looks great. He has done a lot of work for me in the past, and has worked with my friends also in the past. He always does a great job.
