Hi there, I have reviewed your work order, phone calls, and the review you wrote for our service. Here is my analysis... You called us on 6/17 at 3:35pm and scheduled an appointment for the next day with an arrival window of 8-10am. Our Technician was at your home by 8:47am on 6/18. With regard to responsiveness and punctuality, I'd say that's pretty great. You requested for us to replace a Rheem water heater manufactured on 5/26/20. Unfortunately that sometimes happens when you have a Rheem water heater from Home Depot and don't have it professionally installed. We provided an option to replace it with a better quality Bradford White tank and to do the job in compliance with all of the local Building & Safety Code Regulations (the law) that helps the water heater last much longer. Our Customer Service Rep made it very clear over the phone that $1,595 is the STARTING price for a water heater replacement and that any parts needed to install the water heater up to Building & Safety Code Regulations would be additional to the $1,595. Additionally, the price given to you by the Technician was $2,209 which is not $1,000 more than what you were quoted over the phone. We believe in offering great service and quality products so we are not going to be the cheapest service provider out there but we are far from the most expensive. There are over 30 minutes of calls you made to our company but it is common practice for our Technicians to listen to our customer calls while driving to the property. This is how they bring themselves up to speed on what our client's needs are. We tried to accommodate you but you ultimately wanted to pay us $100 to remove your existing Rheem tank and return it to Home Depot for you. We cannot do that because we have a full stock of water heaters on our vans and the only way we have room on our van to do so is if we install one of the new ones to make room. We would lose money to do all that work for $100. I hope you reconsider this review. Sincerely, Anthony HamiltonService Provider Response
