Sam's Garage Doors

Diego was very professional and helpful. I messed up the first time they showed up and they without question said it was OK and would reschedule with no additional charge. That does NOT happen today. On the second visit, the clicker had some troubles and Diego immediately gave me a new battery to get it operational and also recoded it to the main controller as it was experiencing issues. Their service was exceptional and I have found a garage door company for life...I will only use them from now on. Thanks.

Excellent I was really satisfied with the job

Very well. The person who came was Jessie. He was personable, friendly, professional and helpful. He came within the scheduling window and changed out the old weatherstripping and replaced it quickly. He showed me that the old weatherstripping was old and had become limp and flat. I discussed problems I have with water coming in during the rainy season, and he offered some suggestions.

Very pleased with the service. Technician (Diego) called before he arrived. He arrived in time frame promised. Very professional. Explains everything. Easy to get a live person on the phone to schedule appointment. Very reasonable charge for work done. Would definitely use again and would recommend to others.

Great service and even arrived earlier than appt. time (with call that was on way). Appt. was made with appt. for next day. Could"nt be happier Technician Mike was very professional and had job done in short time. Would highly recommend.

mike q. was great! he called about 10 min before he arrived (as scheduled) to tell me he was on his way, he was patient while i hunted for the lost key to the garage amongst all our moving boxes, he listened to our requests and didn't mind working around all our stuff packed into our garage, he worked alone for maybe 10 min, then met me back at the garage door. he had fixed the partial closing and explained that there is too much metal in the garage door to just bend it back. he was also honest enough to admit that since the bend didn't inhibit function, we would only need to replace the double door for $900 if we cared about what it looked like. he left his business card by the garage door controls in the garage which was helpful because i'd lose it otherwise! we can hardly see the bend in the door at all so we've decided not to replace the door, but you can bet that as soon as we ARE ready to replace this door, we won't even bother shopping around when we've already found such an honest company!

Mike1 did a good job. I gave him a tip at his suggestion.

Great! Mike called before he arrived, arrived when he said he would. Was professional and thorough. Recommended some changes to the door: New rollers. Changed out the rollers, tuned up the door, and it's quiet and like brand new! Very sensitive to my response when quoted the rollers, never pushed me to purchase. Said they would be glad to come back any time if I didn't want that service today. BE AWARE: your Tune-up is EXACTLY what is printed on Angie's List: A 21-point safety inspection, lubricating all moving parts on the door and opener (NOT THE TRACK), balancing and tightening. If there is something else wrong with your door, you will need to pay for the repair when the service man arrives.

Tech attempted to help with garage door opener. Still faulty. Did fast reliable work with coupon work from Angie's list (replace rollers, lube doors, check balance)

Prompt and friendly service. I felt it was a good deal on a new opener.

I reached out to them here but didn't get a response. Their reviews were good enough that despite that, I bought a discounted coupon for the tune-up service. I still didn't hear from them for the times I had selected as best for me, so I called and made an appointment. I got the usual 4 hour window, and i didn't hear back until I called the morning of to see if they had a better idea of when the tech would show up. They showed up promptly at the estimated time and the tech called before coming by. Once he was there, it was quick and he was pretty good. He spent a fair amount of time adjusting things and spraying lube around, replaced the steel cables and a hinge. The door worked really well that day and it was great to have my door working again. Today I opened the door for the first time and it got suck, but unstuck when I kicked one side of it. I'll call them again a couple times until they come out and adjust the door. I'm fine with the adjustments, I'm just a little worried about how hard it is to get a hold of them. I think this is because they are good and busy, so they are focusing on the field work and not so much on the initial backoffice stuff. I will post a follow up when the door is adjusted.

Jesse was very professional, friendly and helpful. We are very pleased with his work. It's great to have those doors rolling up smoothly and quietly.

The work was done satisfactorily. I only wish the technician had cleaned up our white garage door before he left leaving dirty hand prints all over the bottom panel. Also, due to a number of provider errors, it took for scheduled visits to have the work performed. Finally, the third car garage door would not close properly due to the new and higher weather-strip. He left without it being able to be locked.

Mike 2.0 was great! He assessed the problem and recommended we also replace the rollers on our older garage door model. He showed us the cracked rollers before installing. He checked the garage door over to make sure nothing else needed repair. Our garage door is all fixed now and even quieter than before!

We had just moved into the home and had a major remodel done and the garage door wasn't shutting properly. We had the contractor's electrician work on it but to no avail. The service technician arrived and fixed it promptly.

Jesse the service rep. was knowledgeable,friendly and fast. I was very pleased with the service.

Mike 2.0 did a wonderful job. He tried to sell me additional services he felt were necessary long term, but since I was selling the house, he said those services were not required in the short term. Mike was very honest and did a wonderful job. I would definitely hire Sam's Garage Doors again.

I put in my zip code and the purchase was approved. A couple days later I got a call saying they did not service my area. They gave me a refund. Not a very auspicious beginning for my first purchase through Angie's' List.

Sam is awesome! Besides the tuneup, a new a garage door spring was installed and reasonably priced. He even provided additional services to make my keyless keypad work again and pairing the remote control to my car. Will definitely hire him again for annual services as long as the fees for service call is competitive!

The door was scheduled to be installed. The installer arrived on time and completed the work within three to four hours. He was professional and consistent.
