We had them inject cellulose into the floor of our upstairs living room, for soundproofing. Unfortunately it broke through the drywall on the ceiling below in a couple spots and made a huge mess. And although it might have been a problem with our drywall (they said they had never seen that happen), they took care of it - did a great job of clean up and extensive repairs,

Guardian was a second consultation that I had. The first consult was literally $3000 over what Russell had quoted me. Russell and his team showed up exactly at the time they said they would, worked quickly, and clean. They guys that did the work explained everything that they did in my attic and took pictures that were later sent to my inbox. I immediately felt a massive difference in the temperature of my house. My house had zero insulation and is 100+ years old. I had been running my portable a/c units around the clock before and now I don't have to. It's been incredible. Russell explained at my consultation what materials they would be using and what he saw in my attic (I've never really been up there). As a first homeowner, I appreciate contractors that aim to teach so I have a better understanding of my home and how to care for it. I also love that the Insulation used is recycled newspaper and fire retardant. Russell also asked me what some of my goals may be for the house in the future so that my plans would not be hindered by any work he and his team did. To add the icing on top he also told me about the government incentives and emailed me the links to the forms to submit with my taxes. This company is great, I would absolutely use them again and recommend them to anyone else looking for their services.

Russell came to our house to measure. He gave us a quote and we requested a specific day about a week out. Our requested date was booked. They showed up on time. They did a great job patching the holes and matching the paint. We can not even tell there were holes made.

Russell was a pleasure to work with, very knowledgeable and helpful with planning and deciding what needed to be done for my home insulation project. His team was prompt and on time every day which really impressed me, especially since they drive from the OC each day! They fully removed my old insulation, cleaned and sanitized my attic, rodent proofed it, and then blew in treated cellulose. They don't do spray foam insulation, but as I learned from this project that's not always the best answer, anyways. Everybody was professional and they cleaned up as they went. I'll hire them back in an instant if I need any more done in the future! Thanks guys!

The company was very thorough in explaining the process of our roof and wall insulation project. The customer service and install was great! The wall insulation was particularly good as they matched the paint to the outside of the house just perfectly, and texturized the stucco perfectly as well. We were fortunate to qualify for an SDG&E rebate and tax break from our insulation installation, and the company walked us through that process, too. An excellent job all around.

This was the absolute best company I could have ever chosen. They are not your average insulation company, they are a energy efficiency or home performance company so they are actual certified building scientists ! Air sealing the Attic flat and insulating the attic properly saved me 20% on my utility bill !

Russell was fantasticâ he answered all my questions, gave me a very reasonable price, and had the project completed quickly and within a few days of our first contact. Would definitely use them again.

If I could give this company a 0 star rating I would. They came to give me a quote real quick and everything seemed great. Scheduled the appointment and all still going well. The day before the appointment I still didn?t have a time for the insulation to be installed so I called them. They didn?t answer of course, but called back 5 minutes later to say, ?I was just about to call you. We made a mistake and double booked. I?m sorry for the inconvenience.? I thought ok it happens. We rescheduled for Columbus Day at 9 am. So Columbus Day comes and about 940 I start calling asking where they are. After the second call they finally answer and say, ?I was just about to call and find out what happened.? When they call me back and say, ?oh the truck broke down and won?t be coming today.? So I tell them that I stopped payment on the deposit and they say they understand because it was their fault. Later that day the boss Brian calls and says the truck didn?t breakdown but he didn?t text the crew to confirm and said to give them another chance. I agreed, but they were supposed to call and give me a solid confirmation and they didn?t. So I keep texting the guy Brian and he keeps giving one excuse after another so here is the review they get. Home advisor needs to screen these companies better.
