He called to confirm the Appointment time that he would arrive. He arrived on time😊 He took care to protect the finish while working on my almost new piano.
Description of Work: He did a great job of tunning my mini-grand piano😊 It sounds better now. He recommended future actions that will need to be done, e.g., the next tunning, and tips on using the recently installed humidifier unit.

I have had a piano that does not work, is falling apart. And when I finaly contacted them.. Very rude. I drove past their store. Their name is no longer on the front. I have contacted the BBB and plan on taking this matter to court. Iwould give them an F photos upon request
Description of Work: They will NOT return messages. The WARRANTY means NOTHING After the sale you are on your own. Very rude when I finally had someone on the phone 6 months after purchase. At first I was happy with my Baby Grand Piano. However a month after it was delivered, one of the pedals was loose, keys would not play. I contacted them many times and not a word. The varnish on one side is peeling. I am upset because I paid by check even though I wanted to use my c.c. , they said it was easier for them. My warranty runs out for the moving parts. However they NEVER call back. I have been very patient with them since *December 2nd Letting them know when it was convenient for THEM to come out, however, they NEVER contact me regarding this matter. So I am now going public in hopes to get a response.*Pictures upon request* ( I contacted them *Dec 2nd)(They contacted me *Dec 14 to say they would set up a time)They never did. ( I contacted them again *Feb 9th) It is now *April 16th and I have not heard back *May 19 2026I contacted them again by phone and some man who answered " Piano Store" would not give me his name when asked. I said I purchased a baby grand piano and wanted to speak with the owner (who sold me the piano) or the manager. He refused demanding my name. And saying he might give them the message. I said I have had problems since November and left massages by phone , e mail and text. And nobody returns my messages. He hung up on me.

Description of Work: purchased a used piano from Ramsey, and was making monthly payments. Every month was a major hassle using his "online" payment, we would have to make the payment multiple times, because it would go thru. At one point, he gave us a credit (for the late payment amount he charged) because all the issues we had. Then when the final payment was due, I had called him and asked if we could have a 3 day extension because of all the issues we had, and he had said "yes" to me on the phone, then the next day he sent me a txt message (used a different name than mine, had that messed up also), and then also sent a harassing email to my wife about the payment being due even though he had said we could have a 3 day extension. Don't use this business, not trust worthy, and doesn't stand by his word.

It went terribly. I didn't hear from Ramseys all weekend and called the next week. I got no answer, so I emailed on March 1, 2014 and got no response so I emailed again on March 7 and he said : "I still expect them to make the purchase and I will let you know as soon as it happens" I waited a few more days with no word and on March 13, 2014 got an employee on the phone who told me the deal with the "guaranteed buyer" had fallen through and the owner was on vacation. I emailed the owner with a summary of my conversation with his employee and told him that: "My home is now under contract to sell and I will know in 10 days or less if the buyer will be actually purchasing my home with a close date of April 25. If this is the case, and the piano hasn?t sold in 10 days, I will take it back and attempt to sell it on my own. " I got a phone call that they would drop the piano off the next day and to have a check for $400 for tuning, cleaning and transport. I couldn't be at home, so I asked for a later time. It was finally delivered March 20, 2014 and I was billed for $400, which I paid by check to his employees. I sent an email on the same day asking for an explanation and/or refund. At this date, March 29, 2014, I have received no response. This experience has been frustrating and anxiety producing. The owner hasn't offered any explanation for what happened to the "guaranteed sale." He hasn't explained he poor communication, not answering emails or responding to voice mails in a timely manner. Nor did he make any consideration that it was HE who initiated the offer to sell the piano. When I spoke to him on the phone at one point his tone was confrontational and rude. Business owners I respect, would have tried to make this fair to me, but this doesn't seem important to him so I paid $400 when all I wanted was a tuning. And honestly, I'm not even sure he tuned the piano. It's impossible to tell after being moved. I would never recommend this company to anyone for any service in spite of the fact that some of his employees are polite. I take responsibility for this regrettable mistake on my part for not checking him out with the Better Business Bureau ("D" rating the last time I checked) and to see if he was a member of the Piano Technicians Guild (he's not listed on the website) I know of no other way to make this right except to let other people know about my experience and hopefully they will avoid this company.
Description of Work: On Feb. 27, 2014 I hired Ramsey's Pianos to tune my piano. When the owner arrived (an hour late) he said he had a guaranteed buyer who had been wanting a piano exactly like mine and that he would sell it for me that weekend. He left without tuning the piano and said he would pick it up the next day which he did. He made no mention of any costs to me until I asked him what if it didn't sell. There was no signed consignment contract. He assured me that it would sell and not to worry. Three weeks later after much frustration and lack of contact I finally got my unsold piano back, out of tune with a bill for $400.
