They did a site analysis a week prior to the installation confirming the work they would do. It wasn't until after the work when the time came for payment that I was told that they couldn't install the power pak in my paneled walls. They did refund me, but I'd really wanted to have that service done and I could have made other arrangements if they hadn't misinformed me after the inspection. They TV mount went well.

I've been putting off, for YEARS, buying a computer because of all the hassle it entails, and having no idea where to go.  I looked on Angies List for recommendations and only found one, but they didn't sell computers, they built them.  I Googled for computer sales and service, and only got a few hits and finally it boiled down to Best Buy.  I walked into the store on Wetmore.  I was immediately asked what I needed, and immediately put with a sales person who was awesome!  Jimmy listened to all my concerns and needs and pointed me to the right direction.  When I made my choice, he pointed out that I may want a larger screen since one of my main reasons for purchasing it was to Skype.  That computer was actually 100.00 less than the one I had chosen.  THEN, he introduced me to the Geek Squad and I was thrilled, cause I didn't know they were part of Best Buy.  I personally explained what I wanted them to upload from my old computer and how I wanted it set up and was told two to three business days.  The next day I received a call that it was ready!  When I got home, I saw that my Quicken file had not uploaded properly.  I called the Geek Squad number and Gerald answered.  I told him what was up and he was ready to walk me through it right over the phone.  I told him I felt more comfortable bringing it in cause I had some questions about some of the new stuff on my new computer and we made an appt for 6 that evening.  He said just go up to the Geek Squad counter and ask for him.  He came right out, hooked me up, got my Quicken straightened out and walked me through a bunch of fun stuff on my computer.  Needless to say, I'm delighted with the product, the price and the service!

Appointment made for a 10:00am on Saturday = first appointment of the day.  We arrived on time and dropped the vehicle.  We were told it would be about an hour and a half total.  It was 12:30pm when we got the call that he had taken the dash of the truck apart already, then discovered that there was a wiring component missing that goes from the stereo to the wiring harness. Seemed like he was doing the steps backward, and had taken far longer as well. He needed additional time to put the truck back together, and we made arrangements to order the missing piece, and we would bring the truck back for another appointment for the install.
Second appointment was also on a Saturday.  We arrived on time, entry door on the back of the store was locked and we had to phone around to locate the technician (same guy as last time) to get the door opened.  Installation again took far over the allotted time.  We returned and the technician told us that the stereo did not support DVD** and he could not get the video to play.  I was not in the mood to argue that it stated on the radio's packaging and manual that DVDs were supported because we had no intent of watching DVDs in the truck.  I understand the higher install price was due to regulations that require the stereo to be grounded to the brake in order to prevent video from playing while the car is in motion - I knew that when I purchased the service.  But that should have been refunded to me when the technician failed at the installation.

Everyone at the store is friendly, but I sure wish they'd accept "no thank you" the first time when they ask if I need help instead of continuing to hover. It's annoying when I'm trying to think and look at something. Very distracting.

When I went to them they were able to fix my problem in about five minutes and they didn’t even charge me.

Arrived on time. They were very clean and professional They knew what they were doing and got to work immediately.   They picked up after themselves and were done in about 1 hour.  I thought they would have been here longer .  This is the third time we have had them do hook ups first with a wall mounted TV and then with a DVD .  They have always been professional and clean and efficient and always do the job correctly and if by chance something isn't quite right they leave a phone number where they can be contacted and they return immediatly to resolve any concerns.  At first we thought they might be a little costly but the job has always been done correctly and in a timely manner.  We would not consider having anyone else do these kinds of hook ups.

I brought my lap top to the Geek Squad. Had to wait in line for a short time. Told the tech what was wrong with it.  He did some tests on it and said he could do a few things to try to make it better(it was very slow).  He said it would take about an hour so I left it and came back.  He did a virus scan and removed some unwated programs.  I didn't get charged a thing and my computer works so much better now.  A totally great experience.

I think the Geek Squad is excellent.
