Bulwark Exterminating

We have had Bulwark for 3 1/2 years and they have been excellent. Ciaran Babcock is our new pest control expert since our former expert has transferred to Tuscon. On this first visit Ciaran made sure that we understood the extent of their pest control application and had continued to be happy with Bulwark. He also explained additional services that were available from Bulwark to see if we needed to expand the Bulwark services to other areas where we might need other applications for mosquitoes and weeds. We knew that these services were available and ensured that we were comfortable with what the options were and the prices. We are seriously considering the additional services because we continue to be impressed with the quality of work from Bulwark and its representatives. All in all, this first visit exemplified the professionalism of the service providers and the quality of work that Bulwark provides. I recommend Bulwark without qualification for your pest control needs. They are extraordinary and Ciaran continues the standard of excellence that we have become accustomed to from Bulwark. Ciaran B. did a great job. He was on time, very professional, and explained clearly what would be done that day. Bulwark's regular treatment plans have bi-monthly service visits, with intervening follow-up visits if needed at no additional charge.

Bulwark did a great job. Really like our pest technician Jose V. He is always on time, very professional and knowledgeable. It is nice having the same technician each time that knows our house and pest areas.

Had another great treatment by Nick Arkills in June 2021. One problem we had been working on seems to be gone now - thanks Nick. We've had Nick as our tech for a while now, and continue to be impressed with his professionalism and attention to detail.

I've been using them for a few years now. They seem to be doing a good job. I've been using them for a couple of years. I couldn't tell you how I chose them, to be honest with you. I found them, they come over, and they do a good job. It's out of sight, out of mind.

Purchased the $149 Angies List deal for 'scorpion truck' elimination. When they called for scheduling there was a hard sell for signing up for an ongoing pest control contract, which was not related to the deal - which was very frustrating. I had issues getting the visit scheduled - due to lack of responsiveness from the phone desk team. When I called again for scheduling they mentioned they have already completed the visit and the deal has been fulfilled. We were not at home when they came in and hence obviously they didnt spray/treat inside of the home. We have zero results from the elimination and will never get the one time deal again. I'd have rated them lower - but they have done a good job for us couple of years back.

Very professional service techs. They treat for ALL the creepy crawlies and wasps/hornets! They even remove any mud nests and wipe down the spider webs! We now have their service, on a monthly basis. $66 for a 1 acre lot, 3500 sq ft home/casita.

Fine. Whilst abroad on a business trip I received a scheduling call from Bulwark; when I asked to please call me after I return to the US I was told no problem...much to my surprise the technician showed up at my home while I was gone and provided the service. To be clear I explicitly asked to schedule when I returned...not to have the service completed in my absence. Because of this, I will not use the service again.

Bulwark's monthly treatment for scorpion control is totally ineffective. They asked me to have service for an year to control scorpions on property but at the end of year, there is not difference. I still see as many as 10 scorpions a day on property. They came out 2-3 times a month and still there was no relief. They just spray the some chemical and go, I have seen scorpions stilling on the sprayed surface and being very active. We got 3-4 scorpions inside home within a week of treatment and many of them outside. Means no effect. Their nocturnal treatment with scorpion truck is somewhat effective where they treat the whole property. Other than that monthly treatment is useless. Their representatives have ample stories to tell to justify ineffectiveness of their treatment. I have not seen any effort to point out any other remedy like finding their home, treating it or suggesting to fill gaps in the walls etc. They possibly want continuous business and don't want to eliminate scorpions.

They were courteous and it went fine. They were very helpful.

I had a one-year agreement with Bulwark for pest control service. Once this was concluded I asked that I not be automatically scheduled and that I would call when I wanted service. Their practice of texting a one-day notice that they were coming (at their convenience, not mine) was always annoying. It took several phone calls to get this across – I kept getting text appointments and phone calls asking when they could schedule. After several phone calls I thought I had finally made this clear. Then one morning when I was at work I received a call that the tech was on my property and trying to get into my back yard. I had no idea they had scheduled a visit. I immediately called their office to tell them to get the tech off my property and that I have a large dog in the back yard. This could have had a very bad ending. I told the office to remove me from their data base – I’m done with this company. It seems that they are more interested in filling their calendar than listening to a customer and respecting their request.
