Good, even though the job was too small for them to do, they took the time to give me information of someone that could get it done for me. Thank you.

No stress and no fuss. I picked out the colors and they came and power washed the house, did the minor repairs, and painted the house. Both days took about 6-7 hours.

They were amazing! They waited several times for us to settle on the house, then started immediately with prep work and got the interior finished in time to get the furniture delivered, even though it entailed working over the weekend. There was no extra charge. Their entire goal was our satisfaction and meeting our time line- not theirs. If there were questions on what was covered by the contract, they were flexible and always worked out something agreeable. The house was finished inside and out in 9 days for over 4400 sq. feet. Kelly, the owner is a delight to do business with and I have recommended Marcel Painting to several people.

Kelly, the owner of the company, came out on the 1st of June to give us the estimate and was very nice and professional. We discussed the colors I had selected for each room, and where I wanted the accent walls, and he advised me where I needed to buy more paint, which I did, as they applied two coats on every wall to give good coverage. We discussed the front door and options to make it look better since we weren't ready to purchase a new one yet. We asked him what he would do, and since it was pretty bad, he suggested just hand sanding it as much as possible to get the roughness and peeling off, then applying a stain to match what was on there already, and finally, applying a varnish to seal and give it a glossy look. He said it would be too costly to strip it all the way down, and he wouldn't even take our money to do it if we insisted since the door was so bad. We appreciated his honesty, and agreed to do it his way. Considering how bad it was, we were surprised and pleased with the results. His guys were very polite and willing to do whatever I asked when I pointed out places that needed some touch-up. One of them even redid the edge of the wall in my kitchen where it met up with the arched entrance to my living room since the first painter had not kept a straight line and it was very noticeable. That was an extra he didn't have to do, and I really appreciated that. The 3 guys arrived at 8:30 am and were there until 7:30, and got the whole job done in one day, which was amazing to us, as we have an older house with 2500 sf, and the rooms are large. I am pretty picky and was pleased to see that the colors did not bleed into one another where two colors met, and that the lines were straight and even where the walls met the ceiling. We feel they did a great job and wish we'd found them before the first painter since the kitchen, laundry room, guest bath, and hall area he painted was definitely not the quality of work that Marcel's Painting did for us. Finally, they did a good job of cleaning up when finished, and we were very happy with their work. We definitely would recommend them and will have them back when we need painting done again. By the way, I did get 3 estimates before I decided on Marcel's Painting. One was much higher and one was a little more, but I just had a good "gut feeling" about this company, and it was right!

They did an excellent job. They were very, very professional and we were very, very happy with them. Our house looks great and they gave us ideas. They came on time and we would absolutely use them again.

The job was pretty extensive, 2300 sq ft so it took a little longer than estimated which wasn't a problem for us. They estimated 6 days it took 7. Their price was higher than other Angie's members, but we felt that he cared about doing our house right where the others gave us the impession that our house was "the next job". Kelly helped us decide on colors and they look fantastic. The guys that came to do the job were very complete in putting plastic over everything. They came back to perform touch-ups without hassle. We didn't have them paint the entire exterior this time, but if we decide to redo that in the future, we will give them a call.

We haven't hired anybody yet. He was extremely professional and very well spoken. He was very courteous and really listened to what we were wanting. He was very up front. He actually brought a book with him with references and work that he had done. He brought information about his license, bonding and insurance for us to look at. He gave us a computer generated quote at the same time he came to see us so we didn't have to wait for the quote. We were very impressed by his professionalism. We are not sure if we will be using him because we got another quote that was substantially less. We haven't made our decision yet but pricing will be a major factor. We emailed him after we got the other quote to see if he could match the price and he emailed us back the same evening with his response. He showed up when he said he would and he was responsive. I wish his price would match the other quote. If they were the same, we would definitely go with Marcel. His price is fine, but not the lowest price out there.

Amazing job! The whole staff were very professional and knowledgeable! The outcome of the job exceeded my expectations ten fold! The amount of money I saved and with increased sell price, well, I couldn't ask for more. We just wanted to liquidate a trashed headache of a property that was shameful. It turned out so nice, I was proud to have a family buy it and live there!

The work was done in two days - one day to power wash and do some prep, second day to finish prep - cover windows and ground - and spray the house / walls / patio area. Though there was a small miscue with my address,work began by 9 a.m. each day and cleaned up mid day each day. The house is transformed. The colors were neutrals but the impact was striking and there have been many neighbors stop to comment on my house in the week since the work was done. I am very happy I selected Marcel Painting for my home's exterior work and would happily hire them again if I get another house in need of paint.

Above expectations!! They are experts in their fields. I gave them everything from simple to complex and they exceeded!! Very clean from begining to end. Careful. Trustworthy too, when I had to leave them alone to get kids I didn't hesitate. Very professional. Companies got all the right credentials and backings. The owner Kelly Mardis is very attentive and understanding, which to me means he knows his field. He also gave me suggestions and solutions to problem areas and was honest with me about limitations. Kept me from being unrealistic and disappointed. Honest, hardworking, Nice folk...very hard to find in this day and age.

Could not have been better! Kelly was the first of 3 Angie's List contractors to respond to my email and was the first to do the pre-bid walk through. He took his time to get to know the property. I really felt he cared as much about my house as he would his own home. He took careful notes and measurements, then spent some time in his truck producing/printing a bid. He was the low bidder, but in the same ballpark as the other 2, so price was not the deciding factor. His 3-year warranty beat the competition. And I kept coming back to the sense that he cared about my house. Carlos and crew were wonderful! I have a lot of ficus and hibiscus lining the patio walls. Carlos painted around them carefully. The patio walls look well-painted, with hardly a leaf turned Navajo White!

They did such a great job on the inside of our home that we hired them back to do the exterior. They did an exact color match just as we requested. Once again we were very impresed with the service and most importantly the awesome end result. Our house now looks great from the inside and the outside! We are very satisfied and will recomend Marcel Painting to anyone we know in need of paint work.

The owner of the company came to our home to meet with us and help us decide on colors. He also provided us with a quote on the spot. The painting crew showed up on time when they were scheduled to. They were very respectful of our home, being extra careful while working around our belongings. They were very organized and were very good about cleaning up after themselves. We had a great experience and will use Marcel Painting again when we decide to paint the exterior of our home. We have also referred many friends to the company as well.
