+ 2 moreWe returned from vacation on a Sunday afternoon to find that the hot water expansion tank had failed & flooded the condo. I came across ASAP Restoration through the positive reviews on the BBB and Angie's List websites. I contacted ASAP Restoration and was greeted by the owner, Josh Rudin. Within two hours (on a Sunday evening), Josh & his crew arrived on site. Josh was very knowledgeable and came well equipped to assess the damage and immediate water mitigation needs. The damage was fairly extensive, requiring most of the contents of the condo to be "packed out". Josh arranged for a packing & moving company to be on site the next morning. The moving company Josh recommended did an outstanding job wrapping, protecting, packing, moving & storing our belongings during the mitigation & rebuild. Once the condo was cleared out, ASAP's team immediately came in and began the "dry out" and mitigation phase. The team at ASAP worked tirelessly for the next week drying out the unit and removing the water damaged sheetrock and flooring. We were most impressed with the pride they took in their work - particularly in cleaning up the jobsite every day. The dry-out took about 3 or 4 days to complete. After the Water Mitigation was completed, we also chose to use ASAP for the build back. We were very pleased with the quality of the workmanship of the workers & subcontractors. We felt very comfortable with the ASAP team being in our home. The build back took about 4 weeks to complete. Once moved back in, the condo looked and felt brand new. Josh and his team worked hand-in-hand with us and the two insurance companies involved with the claim. Josh went to great lengths in documenting (and over documenting) every step of the process. We always knew where we stood as it related to the job cost & insurance reimbursement. There were never any "surprises". We would certainly recommend ASAP Restoration.

The floors were spotless, and there was very little damage to our newly painted walls and trim. Josh was amazing and understanding of the stressfulness of the situation.

+ 2 moreWe returned home from vacation and our water heater leaked which caused some substantial water damage. The insurance adjuster came out and gave us a couple of references for restoration companies. After both referred restoration companies came out and walked the areas that had been damaged I felt I needed another non-biased opinion. My wife found ASAP online and said they had very good reviews. I called Josh with ASAP to see if he would come out and give me a quote. Josh arrived the same day I called him and began taking moisture readings, taping off the damaged areas, taking pictures and measurements (the other companies only took measurements) . It was clear that the companies the insurance company referred were going to work off the insurance companies prepared scope. On the other hand, the information Josh was gathering was to put together a scope that fixed the damage. As with most water damage situations, the real concern is the damage you can't see behind and within the walls. With two young kids I didn't want to take any chances with the potential risk of mold. Josh walked me through what he looks for, showed me the moisture readings (which was 100% in many areas) and helped me understand the water mitigation process. After Josh was finished with his inspection, I knew he was the right restoration company for me and my family. Josh's interest is making sure you as the customer is taken care and the job is done right. Josh and his crew did a great job and finished as quickly as the insurance process allowed. If I ever have any restoration needs, Josh will be my first and only call.

+ 2 moreAfter a catastrophic water leak in my condominium, I used my Condo association?s preferred vendor to do the teardown. I was not impressed with the job. I went to my trusted Angie?s List to find an alternative to the build back. Score! I called the owner of ASAP Restoration due to the many positive reviews. From the very beginning I knew that I had found the right company. The owner described the whole process to me and had the whole project set up and completed less than a week of my call. My significant build back was completed in one day. The employees that came to my condo were on time, professional and highly skilled. My kitchen looks exactly the same as before the damage. I can never tell it happened in the first place and am so satisfied to have my home back the way it was. The bonus is that the refrigerator that leaked actually fits better in the cabinetry than before the water leak. I would recommend this company to anyone without exception. I can only say positive things about every interaction I had with this company.

+ -1 moreASAP Restoration answered my call on a Wednesday evening and spent a good 30 minutes asking questions and really trying to understand the extent of the damage from an RO tank that drained under the sink when the faucet broke. He helped us to determine if we could fix it ourselves and give us some products to use to handle mold and a range of inexpensive accurate tools to help with the job. If we ever have more serious damage in the future (God, forbid), we are definitely calling ASAP Restoration.
Description of Work: We called ASAP Restoration looking for them to come out and give us a second opinion on some water damage from a faulty RO system. The owner/provider was extremely helpful over the phone and took his time asking lots of questions and explaining some truths of the restoration industry. In the end he gave us all the information we needed to take care of the issue ourselves.

ASAP Restoration sets the bar in customer service and quality workmanship. We have worked with them twice, once on undisclosed mold and related reconstruction in our new home in 2011 and again in 2015 to investigate an unrelated potential issue. For both engagements, Josh went above and beyond during the quoting process to get us information we needed, reaching out to other service providers to get us holistic inputs and set our expectations. In the 2011 emergency, Josh instructed his team to begin work immediately once we agreed on the scope, working until well after midnight, maintaining the high level of customer service and outreach throughout. A few years later when we were searching for the corresponding photo evidence, Josh personally spent hours digging through his files to find what we needed. While we did not end up needing work done in 2015, Josh was nonetheless prompt, responsive (same day in-person quote) and thorough in his evaluation, calling us the same evening with additional information for us to consider. Josh and the ASAP team are the first contractor we would call for any future issue in their area of expertise.

What I discovered from this company and other like them is they believe they no longer need to come out and compete for the business unless you pay them an inflated price for a quote. Their reasoning is the customer may opt to go with a cheaper company or do it themselves which is a possibility. Seems to me every company must deal with that same reality. Otherwise, how can consumers be sure their receiving quality service at a fair price. Finally, this is also the reason when a company receives a bad review here "many say "NO SERVICE WAS PERFORMED" . Gathering many quotes is smart business, paying a company to earn your business is stinkin thinkin!

Josh was in constant communication with me, and onsite to ensure that the work was done properly and met his high standards. I felt that he took a personal interest to make sure that my concerns and wishes were met, and that he strove to provide the best quality workmanship and advice. Everyone, from the cabinet maker to the granite countertop company to the plumbing crew, were great and very professional. Everyone I dealt with showed up when promised, did a quality job, and left my home clean and in great shape. I have a wonderful kitchen that I truly enjoy.
Description of Work: On 4/1/2015 I had a water leak from an undersink water filter in my kitchen. When a plumber told me that there was water damage throughout the cabinets as well as mold, I called ASAP and arranged for them to come out and assess the damage. Josh Rudin came out immediately and explained that the cabinets and drywall involved would need to be demolished, followed by decontamination and drying of the area. At my request, his crew showed up promptly the following morning to begin the work. After a few days, Josh had the air quality tested to make sure the area was thoroughly cleaned. Because of the excellent work they did for the mold remediation, I decided to contract with ASAP for the restoration of the kitchen.

They responded promptly, and began the day called, during which time the leak was being repaired by a plumbing contractor. I had a wonderful experience with ASAP Restoration. The owner, Josh, was incredibly prompt, responsive, and knowledgeable, and he was my contact person throughout the entire process from mitigation through reconstruction. He made my emergency a priority and had a mitigation team at my home within three hours of my initial call. They stayed until 2:30 in the morning to do a quality job getting everything set for the drying phase. Josh then spoke with me regularly to help me understand the insurance process, troubleshoot the problems that arose with my air conditioner, and explain my options along the way. He had a great team of professionals get my house put back together quickly - I cannot say enough great things about my experience with this company! Each person I met from ASAP was friendly, knowledgeable, patient (I ask a lot of questions?), hard working, skilled, and trustworthy. You can?t tell that I ever had an issue with water damage in my walls or ceiling ? they did such a great job with reconstruction. This company is truly top-notch!

+ 2 moreWe had a minor plumbing issue that put enough water on our upstairs bathroom floor to penetrate the flooring and ceiling beneath. Within 5 hours Josh from ASAP had a crew in the house removing the affected materials and installing dehumidifiers and fans. We were impressed by the confidence, competence, responsiveness and how available Josh is to customers and so we also contracted with his company to do the put-back on everything. We ended up with a ceiling and bathroom that look better than before the incident. We're very pleased with the service. I will add that Josh is very, very good at interceding for clients with the insurance company. He's not going to let an insurer push him around and short-change you, the customer.

Josh & his team was onsite the same day I called him and were able to complete the tear out within 24 hours. Throughout the process, Josh was very educational and communicated appropriately. Where there were options for the homeowner to decide, he did a great job of giving me options, with a complete explanation. They did a great job of coming in to a crisis, taking control to remedy the situation, without being pushy or overbearing.
Description of Work: Josh & team did a great job coming into a master bath area that had a leaking pipe for several weeks while we were out of town. We had extensive water damage & evidence of mold. He quickly brought in an environmental specialist to make sure the mold did not become a bigger issue. The drying out process took significantly longer than anticipated due to the amount of moisture - and Josh remained focused on getting it done right, not just quickly. He worked with us an extra week to make sure everything was perfect before beginning the reconstruction.

We are out of state owners of a rental property in Scottsdale. In October our renter called us worried about what she believed was a mold problem. She said mold was growing out of the bathroom thru the cinder block construction onto the side of the house. Our realtor referred us to ASAP Restoration. After we called and left a message (on a holiday) Josh returned our call almost immediately, he then made an appointment with our renter to be at the home at 8:00 Tuesday morning. Josh examined the growth and was able to reassure both the renter and myself that growth was fully on the exterior emanating from the soil and was not mold, but was a temporary fungus that had sprouted because of excessive rain. Problem solved. We appreciated Josh’s rapid return of our call and resolution of the concern of our renter. We will absolutely call on ASAP Restoration again should the need arise.

I did the same thing you are doing now. I had a mold problem and I wanted to choose a professional to help me with it, but I wanted to choose based on what actual real people were saying about the contractor. I chose ASAP Restoration because of the good things people said in the reviews, and it was a good move for me. Josh answered my call on a Sunday, and he did every single thing he promised to do. He was a pleasure to deal with and all of his people were very nice also. They did a clean job and treated my facility with great care. They also left me with really nice reports that show exactly how good the air quality is in my space now - I really liked that part. I am glad I found ASAP because I have read lots of comments online from people who had bad experiences with other contractors. My experience was very good, and I feel completely comfortable recommending this company to anyone who asks me.
