Completely SUCKED!
Description of Work: I filled out the new patient paperwork. Nurse called me in & took my vitals. I waited in the room for about 15 to 20 minutes. I heard someone out in the hall looking at my paperwork and they stood there for about 5 to 7 minutes. Then a woman walks into the room and I didn't know who she was but it was the Dr. She frowned at me the minute she looked me. Asked me what do you want. I told her about my arm and shoulder. She looked me with a meaness to her and said well what is wrong. I told her it hurts but then she changed the subject and said Really now what are you in here for. I told her like 3 to 5 times that I don't know what was wrong with my shoulder and my arm. She got persistent and asked me AGAIN what is the real reason why I was in there and what really is going on with you because you have a lot of stuff down on this paperwork. She said I don't see any medications on here that is treating any of these symptoms. I then told her that I have Fibromyalgia and CFIDS but I didn't tell her everything because that is not why I was in there for the first place. She said well I know what Fibro is but what is CFIDS I then told her Chronic Fatigue Immune Dysfunction Syndrome and she oh. She frowned at me somemore and then told me "Well I treat these things with Lyrica or Cymbalta. I then told her that I wasn't able to take those things due to my Multiple Chemical Sensitivities. She frowned even more. I then told her I wrote to her BEFORE i moved to this area from Wisconsin. She told me " Oh I remember you and I should have wrote you back as I planning on it but I never got around to it. I should have now and to tell you that I can't help you then." Then she looked me and said " If you won't take the pills then I cannot and will not help you!" Then she said " I suppose you got my name from the local newspaper and seen Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue and you thought that was your answer?" I told I didn't see it my mom did and I wasn't sure if it was my answer because I am a hard cookie to get some help and that I got her name from our insurance provider because she is in our network. She looked at me really mean then and raised her voice a bit more and told me that she "WILL NOT HELP ME." Then I told her that I need someone to look at my ARM & SHOULDER only because that is why I was there ONLY. She hesitated and said I don't know but I will look at it and see IF i can help you. I told her that I wasn't able to lift my arms above my shoulders due to my limitations and restrictions and she forced it anyhow. Then she looked at my lower part of my arm and squeezed to tight and I felt as she was really rough like. Then she told me to go get xrays but didn't make the appointment for me to do so. She did give me some names of Rheumolotogists in Tucson ( 3 of them) for my FMS and said MAYBE they will help me or maybe they won't. She did give me a name for a Orthapedic to see but they never made the appointment so my insurance company has no idea that it is a referral at all. As for the xrays to be done I have no idea where it needs to be done or when. So I am sitting here in major pain. She never presecribed me any pain medication either. Iw as going to ask for a lidocain pain patch but she never gave me the time or day to talk with her about it. She basically told me I WILL NOT HELP YOU!! I sat there stunned because first of all she was VERY rude in the first place and she didn't even know me at all. Second if she couldn't help someone like me then please write back so I didn't have to waste my time or money to come to see someone that didn't want to help me. Third obvisiously she is in dire need to PUSH pills to people. If you don't or won't take them I WON'T help you! Give me a Break! What happened to patients rights?? Fourth Listen to the one that is sitting there that is in pain - listen to their concerns and don't be some mean doctor and acts and says mean things when you don't even know them. I am sorry I even went to her!!! She was the meaness Dr. I have seen in my lifetime! If she doesn't know what CFIDS or anything else is then get educated because it is really out there! If she didn't know what it was or Fibro then why place in the paper like she did? I am not happy for the way I was treated in her little patient room by her. I hope everyone else out there doesn't have a bad experience as I did with her. If you have had a good experience with her GREAT - good for you. But she was nasty to me and I don't like her bedside manner at all! I miss my Doctor in Wisconsin! He IS THE BEST!
