ULTIMATE ELECTRONICS

The first time I visited the store I was helped by a young male who knew everything about the products, answered all of my questions and guided me in choosing the right components. He had just returned from the consumer electronics show, where Ultimate sends its employees. From start to finish the process was smooth and very professional, they also matched prices I found at other stores. I also had a custom cabinet built elsewhere and quickly needed the exact width of the tv i had purchased. I called the store and the salesman knew the width of the tv off the top of his head. Every time I have been in each salesman has been easy to talk with and very knowledgeable. I used to dread going to electronics stores such as Best Buy; while now I make sure of the lowest price and go immediately to Ultimate Electronics. I rarely find good service anymore, one exception is Ultimate Electronics.

I purchased a KEF unit for my home after it being recommended by the salesperson. At one year and several weeks the subwoofer went out. Since the warranty was over by several weeks, I was just SOL. I could not use my speakers or DVD as they ONLY worked w/the subwoofer that blew. Upon sending in to KEF thru UE, they replaced it saying all the same units had come back and they were no longer standing behind KEF. So, I had to purchase another unit...in came the Bose...another $1200+. Then they replaced the KEF subwoofer. Yesterday, the DVD player blew up and I now am using my TV speakers and cannot (once again) listen to music in my home because of this NEWEST issue. I'm frustrated and angry that UE seems unable to solve this problem (even though it is KEF)for someone who paid so much money for something THEY recommended in the first place and now cannot fix. I will never use UE again. EVER. They seem to be unable to commit to making the customer satisfied.

SCOTT HAD THAT QUALITY OF A GOOD SALESMAN IN THAT HE LISTENED TO OUR QUESTIONS AND CONCERNS AND PROVIDED KNOWLEDABLE ANSWERS. HOWEVER, HE REALLY STANDS OUT IN CUSTOMER SERVICE. WHEN THE BACKORDER FOR OUR MODEL TV CAME IN WITH FEWER UNITS THAN PLANNED, HE WAS AGGRESSIVE IN MOVING US UP THE LIST BASED ON OUR READINESS TO PICK UP THE TV. WHEN I WENT TO PICK UP THE 50'' PLASMA TV, IT WOULD NOT FIT IN MY SMALL SUV. SCOTT VOLUNTEERED TO USE HIS TRUCK AND DELIVER THE TV DURING HIS LUNCH HOUR. I LED HIM TO THE HOUSE AND HE AND I CARRIED THE TV INTO THE HOUSE. NOT EVERY SALESMAN WOULD BE SO ACCOMMODATING.

GOOD JOB, CLEAN, FRIENDLY, AND PROMPT. SPEAKERS WERE PURCHASED AT ULTIMATE AND THEY DID THE INSTALL. THEIR PRICE WAS FAIR FOR THE WORK DONE.
