Outdoorscapes Design

Very disappointed. Pete seemed nice at the start but does not listen to what the customer wants or to HOA rules. So I had a problem with the HOA that became very stressful and something that should not have happened. The work is not finished. Pete does not show up when he says he will and there are things I paid for that did not happen and other things I said I DID NOT want them to, did anyway. This just has not gone the way it should and, again, a very expensive and disappointing situation. I would hesitate before using HomeAdvisor again.

Abraham and Pete were very easy to work with and did the job quickly as promised. They provided a simulated picture of their design before install and it came out great. My wife and I were very pleased with the end result.

On around March 2018, We researched multiple vendors for the resurfacing of my pool deck and paver install for a 2500 SQ FT Surface Area. Pete of Outdoorscaoes Design helped me get a great deal on pavers and had an awesome crew that allowed us to ensure the long lasting new and improved pool deck and patio. I strongly recommend this company for any and all outdoor modifications and needs.

UPDATE 2/25/21: The tile looks great and they did a good job with the design of the backyard, however, the flooding problem on the deck was not solved. All plants died, even though they knew it would not have irrigation, and the pool wall was cracked less than two years later. They said COVID was the reason they did not return my phone calls or texts when I asked them to fix it. I guess COVID now comes through the phone and internet. Do not use this company. Very expensive and customer service from Pete is not worth the aggravation. There are many companies out there that will do a better job. ORIGINAL 03/01/19:They did a fantastic job! The guys that did the work were courteous, hard-working, and amazing at putting the design together. I highly, highly recommend this company to do any work you need to get done. Pete and the owner were on-site and did the up-front work to show me what the design would look like. Based on their designs I chose them and am so happy I did. Thank you!

Unfortunately, our experience was nothing like what others have described. Hired OutdoorScapes to install front yard landscaping on new home. We are dissatisfied with the quantity and quality of the work, length of time (7 mos.) and long lapses in communication. We are now working with others to complete and/or correct work. Again, our experience may be the rare exception. We would much prefer to be writing a positive review.

If I could give a higher score, I would. Pete Martinez is exactly what we all look for in a contractor. He's not selling you anything, he doesn't pressure you, and he takes the time to listen and explain everything clearly. Most importantly to us, he WORKED WITH OUR BUDGET. He followed through with everything he said, and his workers finished our back yard in one day. Our back yard isn't big, but it looks 100x better now that Pete has been here. We have already referred him to two family members and will do so for anybody we know. Thanks, Pete!!!

Was very happy with the work. Pete had great ideas and listened to our needs and came up with a great design. He also helped with the HOA approval which was a big help. The cost was very reasonable . We would use them again and recommend them to anyone needing landscaping projects done.

Pete provided sound advise for my drainage problem as well as a great price compared to the other quotes received. I am extremely happy with Outdoorscapes Design, the honesty in their advise, and the quality of workmanship- also had them do some hardscaping for me- and the price.

We hired outdoorscapes to put our backyard in our new home. We worked closely with Pete Martinez he helped us design our backyard to get exactly what we wanted. His crew worked very hard and came in on time to complete the project before Memorial day. We are extremely pleased with our new back yard.

We worked with Pete Martinez on a new landscape/hardscape design as well as installation for our "aging" backyard. It was a wonderful transformation. We love the creative design and end result. He was open to our ideas and provided good solutions to meet our needs. The workers were very experienced and did an excellent job.

I hired OutdoorScapes Design to design and install my backyard landscaping. I worked closely with Pete Martinez, the landscape architect. I highly recommend them. Pete was extremely responsive, answered every question and was very professional. He produced and implemented a beautiful design which I absolutely love. The work crew came every day and worked hard - the project was completed in 1 week. Pete helped me choose the most appropriate travertine for the patio, artificial grass, plants, lighting and drip system. Everything was high quality and lovely. Pete was easy to work with, very competent and kept to my budget.

Good overall, design process was cool, the work crew was nice and efficient, we enjoy our new backyard.
