Shocked when they came out and fixed a terrible noise for just a diagnostic fee. I was expecting to be charged much more after reading what other people paid online for similar issues. I am surprised some people had bad experiences, I am extremely happy

Jeff was professional, courteous, and arrived on time. He wore shoe covers, was careful with his ladder, and fixed everything quickly and efficiently. I would definitely hire him again.

Unit is working fine and I am hoping we can get through the summer before additional Freon will be necessary, which is very expensive, or I decide to change out the unit. This unit has been taken care of very well by LJ Refrigeration since the home was built and first time it needed servicing. LJ Refrigeration has serviced our AC units in 3 homes and 2 office units over a period of close to 30 years and am completely satisfied with their service and knowledge and will continue calling on them as necessary.

As stated earlier, the work was done well and I had an opportunity to discuss the longevity, size, and cost of conditioners. Paul arrived early and called me that he was available to make the appointment early if we were available. All in all, a great experience.

Got their name from Angies List. Called them Monday and got appointment for Thursday AM. Technician arrived exactly on time. Spent a couple of hours examining and explaining the equipment. He was clearly competent and efficient. Good experience!

I've used them 3 times now. They always get to me promptly. Everything they fixed still works. No rework. Price seems reasonable. No issues.

It was early in the morning on a Monday and I noticed that we weren't getting any heat when we turned up the thermostat. I called LJ and the said they would try and make it out that day. We have been a regular customer of theirs for years. Within two hours they arrived and checked the heat pump and replaced the thermostat. We have always used them for their personal service and quick responsiveness. Just great people to do business with, a family owned and operated company, that makes all the difference.

They were very nice. I think his name was Jeff, they came and did the work and were just terrific. I was also glad that they were able to repair my units instead of replace them because it saved me money.

We had a plugged evaporation drain line, but couldn't figure out how to access it to clean it out. Called several companies for an estimate, and LJ Refrigeration, while still more than I think it should have been for the small amount of time it took, was one of the better estimates. They scheduled the service appointment quicker than I expected for a non-emergency (the AC was still working), arrived on time, and did the job professionally. They even showed me where the drain exited the house so that next time I could probably fix it myself. Thanks LJ Refrigeration!

We were very satisfied with the service and plan to use this company again.

My heater went out on a Sunday. Jeff came and I was charged almost $400 on over time even though I had been a customer of them since 1983. It didn’t work so the next day he sent his partner Paul and I was charged another $400. I was very upset about that. He charged me for over hours because it was a Sunday. I’ve known him since he was a teenager and that hurt my feelings and I was so disappointed. I would give them the lowest rating possible. I won’t use them again and won’t recommend them anymore.

Called for an appointment late evening, Father's Day. Repair tech was there by 8:30 next morning, had the replacement motor on his truck, and the repair was done by 9:00 a.m. Everyone was very professional.

Great! Tech(LJ family member ) on time worked efficiently and corrected rattling filter.No attempt for add-ons and a good guy.

This company does not want to grow or help people in a timely manner. To wait 15 days for service in Arizona is simply unacceptable.

I have done business with LJ Refrigeration (for HVAC maintenance) for several years and have always been very happy with their services. They arrive when promised and I always get the impression that they care more about providing quality service than anything else. I think the fact that LJ Refrigeration is a family owned and operated business adds an extra element of quality to their service that I have not experienced with other similar companies. When our water heater broke recently, I looked in the latest Angie?s List magazine and discovered that LJ Refrigeration also replaces water heaters. Paul was able to diagnose our water heater, locate a warranty replacement unit, and complete the installation all in one day -- and actually save us money in the process! I appreciate the service that LJ Refrigeration has provided to us, and I will be sure to recommend them to others.

Jeff came out and assessed the system and charged me $180 for the service call, but did not complete the repair. His partner came out the next day and completed the repair for $350.00

We bought this vacation home at end of August 2011, understanding from prior owners that they didn't use one of the heating/AC units as it was noisy when on. They gave us credit on closing toward repair which was expected to be a new motor. We found this company through Angie's List and Jeff came promptly as promised when we were at the home in November. He checked out the unit and discovered the problem was not the motor at all and remedied it quickly and very inexpensively. While the unit may need replacing in future due to its age, he got it working just fine in time for the cooler weather and we used it well while there again in December. He also helped us better understand how one of the therostats worked and answered some questions about the second unit we had too. Very helpful, professional and friendly. Will definitely use them again in future when needed.

They are honest people. They are amazing, just the best of the best.

Technician asked if I would like it repaired instead of replaced. Of course and I said yes. He was able to fix it right then and there.

After years of horrendous service from Air Care Cooling and Heating (take a look at my review) I found LJ Refrigeration on Angies List. A rental unit lost its AC at 8 PM and Jeff was out the next day at 10 AM. He was polite and explained what he was looking for and how it could affect the ACs performance. He solved the problem very quickly with just a service charge. No extra "diagnostic fee" as charged by Air Care.

Called after hours, Kelly set up appointment. Tech came out and diagnosed problem 156 dollars.... needed motor and he didnt have it on the truck but he went back to the office (830pm) and got the right one and replaced it so had cool sleep that evening!
