it went very well. very respectable service man/owner, arrived on time, explained everything that was required ... and when there was a minor issue later was on the spot, I think the same day and rectified the issue. it doesn't get much better than that.

One of my air conditioners was blowing warm air. I called about 7:30 last night (after they closed) to leave a message for service. I received a return call about 10 minutes later and scheduled an appointment for today. Paul zeroed in on the problem immediately and explained that my compressor had a heating unit at the base of the compressor that was shorting out due to the rain. I did not need the part in Arizona so he disabled it. The air conditioner now works as expected. LJ Refrigeration is always honest and does not try to sell you parts or a new unit when you don't need it. When it is time to replace my units (18 years old), I will absolutely use LJ Refrigeration. Until then, they will keep the units running and service them when needed.

nits This company will charge you forever. I started using this company 2 years ago when I moved here from CA. I did not know that they DO NOT do emergency service in a pinch. There is a charge of $159.00 to come out and tell you what you already know. The air conditioning units are dead or dying. So, 2 years ago, they can add a booster to the large unit, which is nice BUT tell me that the units are 26 years old, and have a life of 15 years. So that when its the middle of August they of course die. Really nice to your face people. But, not a real HONEST company. I would have replaced these units a year ago or more, just to avoid this situation. So suffering in this August heat when you are ill is no fun. AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!!!

I have three air conditioning units and the one near the kitchen was making a horrible noise and wasn't blowing cold air so I had to turn it off. This occurred just one week after another company serviced it. LG Refrigeration's price was very reasonable for the job. The unit in my kitchen is working perfectly now! I will use LG Refrigeration again! They are completely honest and they don't do unnecessary things or charge for things they didn't do.

I moved into a new condo in the Desert Ridge area. Even though I had an inspection, somehow it was missed that the AC unit was not functioning correctly. It was blowing warm air. I called LJ to perform a diagnostic and it turned out that a component on the unit was cracked, which was causing a coolant leakage. I proceeded to have them order the part and do the install. Service agent was very professional and great at explaining the issue to me, even showing where the leakage was occurring. The repairs were done without any issues and the unit was still functioning like new when I sold the condo. Very impressed and would use their service again if the needed ever arises.

This company is trusted and highly respected. I have been a customer for many years and I have to express my appreciation. I always feel like I'm being treated more than just fairly, indeed, they are the best. Their customer service and AC inspection is fantastic. They know what they are doing. If you want to stop worrying about your AC service company, call these guys.

I've used L.J. Refrigeration since at least 2006 and have given them top marks throughout. My a/c systems, now 15 years old, have never failed, required any repair/replacement parts [other than a shot of R22 freon every couple of years], and just hum along -- due, in part, to the professionalism and thoroughness of LJ Refrigeration. In addition, it's just a real pleasure to deal with these folks. Very flexible, but responsive, in scheduling annual maintenance visits, always show up within the scheduled timeframe and get right to work. Upon completion, they always clean up the work site. Prices have been essentially stable for the last 5-6 years and credit cards are accepted for payment. As I've said before, Paul -- the technician I almost always get -- is a real gem. Affable, always able to answer my questions -- some of which are only remotely related to a/c systems -- undoubtedly is a key factor in earning, as well as maintaining for a number of years, the extraordinary record of excellence enjoyed by this company.

Very well! I have been using LJ for at least 25 years. They are very professional. they keep our units working well. The first time I used them was when I had been told we needed a new unit. I called LJ it was something much more minor that was wrong with it. The unit was still working 8 years later when we sold the house. I have them service our units every summer and avoid major problems.

They always come on time. Nice people. Replaced the thermostat in both houses, ran units, changed filters, cleaned units, etc. Very complete service each season.

LJ is the best. I hired them when my previous AC maintenance man tried to tell me that one of my units needed replacing. The unit was leaking freon. LJ added some stop leak, the unit has been working fine for almost 3 years and is still going strong.

The work was superb. One of the owners was at our home this time. He has been to our home many times before as we have used them several times. They provide excellent service and they are always on time. The ladies that answer the phone are pleasant to work with, they get you scheduled right away, and they are professional.

I've used these folks for annual A/C maintenance since, at least, 2006, during which time I've never had an operating problem with my 15 year-old system. Beyond that, however, it's always been a real pleasure to deal with the company -- from the time of quickly and efficiently scheduling a maintenance visit by phone, consistent on-time arrivals for an appointment, and a business-like but enjoyable association with Paul, the technician. He always explains what he's doing and why, answers any questions I might have, some of which, as I've mentioned before, are only loosely connected with A/C maintenance. Pricing has remained stable, only slightly above 2008/2009 levels, and payment by credit card is acceptable. L.J. Refrigeration remains at the very top of my list of a half-dozen or so local companies that I use for recurring maintenance of major equipment/system/service needs in my house. Quality work, competitive pricing and reliable service collectively have earned my continued confidence over several years. Submission of this report was delayed due to a significant health issue that now appears to have been resolved. My apologies to Paul, L.J. Refrigeration, Angie's List and fellow members.

Couldn't have been more pleased with the total professionalism.

It was 102 degrees in my house on July 4th and he fixed it that same day. It was so wonderful to help us out. They have been back to do a check and they have been great every time.

I have been using LJ's for over 20 years. For maintenance, I always have them service my units prior to the summer months and again in the fall before the colder weather. I have never had a major breakdown and the only concern I had they took care of it right away even though it was not an emergency. They are the best!

I was given A Okay system. Older system that is running good.

They were professional and honest. I have used them twice now. The first time was 7-8 years ago and on that occasion I had a few other repairmen out and they were telling me I needed to replace my unit. LJ came out and it was just a part that was needed. I will continue to use them.

I am a long-standing customer of L.J Refrigeration. I have used their services on both my current house and previous condo. While the technician that performs the repair work is great (Jeff Engbarth), the lady that troubleshoots/schedules the service appointment over the phone is extremely rude and inconsiderate (Kelly). I called on 9/14 because my unit was not blowing cold air. She said she would send someone over the weekend, however they would charge a higher emergency service fee. Mind you, Jeff has already been to my property twice (2x) in the last sixty days and I have paid L.J. Refrigeration $900+ over those two visits. I understand parts break down intermittently, however being charged a higher service fee (considering the situation) was highly inappropriate and has definitely turned me off from using this company's services again. The woman that handled my call definitely doesn't understand the meaning of customer service.

We called in the a.m. to say our a/c was not cooling. We feared it was the compressor. They told us they "may" have someone available to get to us that day. They called later to say their serviceman was on his way. He was very professional and told us it wasn't the compressor but was instead a MUCH cheaper part. He also honored the coupon through Angie's List. We were happy to find L.J. Refrigeration and will DEFINITELY use them again, if need be.

They are fast, they are punctual, and they show up when I need them. I have used them for years. They are a family run business and they are on the ball, they really know what they're doing.
