I scheduled a car detailing in early spring 2012. I arrived on site in Scottsdale for 8am appointment and all day service. However it began to rain and with limited in door space at a premium in the body shop, it was mutually agreed that we would reschedule a a few weeks later. Subsequently I was called day before my scheduled service date and advised that the craftsman was not going to be available and we had to reschedule again. I rescheduled a third time and then later had to cancel due to non availability of the car in question: both of my cars required brake and tire repairs in late spring and early summer. Given that I had to commute from Buckeye to Scottsdale, work around the limited intersection of my wife's work schedule, the body shop's availability for detailing only, and complete a number of critical car repairs, I was unable to utilize the service that was purchased. I was unable to reschedule within the 6 month window afforded my purchase so I lost the monies. A few comment apply. The service was to be provided by a craftsman who acts as a semi-independent contractor on site for the body shop. His main job is to detail automobiles that have completed repairs in the body shop. Per conversation with the manager on site, providing this service to non body shop customers was "problematic" as he could not always predict when cars coming out his body shop would take preference over detail only customers. So as a rule, service availability would not be as regular or guaranteed as at a dedicated car wash and detailing facility. The body shop has an excellent reputation as a body shop. As a final comment, the shop is somewhat hard to find on a side street surrounded by residences and other small businesses. Utilize a GPS device or a phone equipped with Google Navigation.

Had the detail done. It was good. Worth the $109, but nothing too special. Weird situation of dropping your car off because they are an auto body place, but I was not concerned about that. As for the detail. They did everything as stated. Just wasn't blown away. Had some water streaks from my mirrors, down the door, which might be why I wasn't overly impressed. It also happened to be the first thing I saw. Yeah, maybe a bit knit picky, but it was a full auto detail. The back area (Dodge Nitro) was not overly done. I have a couple of dog that ride back there once a month so it was not crazy messy. I clean it myself after each dog trip. Still had spots that were not wiped down, treated, conditioned.. I have no doubt they would have fixed it, but I didn't have the time. Was worth $109, but not the listed price of $200

Unbelievable. Customer service has had no greater example then when I called Walter at First Class Auto Body. I purchased a “Car Detail” in November 2011 and with my busy schedule I simply forgot about it. Once I found it I realized it was expired as of May last year (2012.) In hopes of getting some sort of service for my voucher I dropped them an email explaining my plight. Within 12 hours they responded with… “Hi Bob, We will make an exception and honor your full detail g.c., even though it has expired. Please contact the shop at 480-970-8959 to schedule your full detail. Happy Holidays, First Class Auto Body, Inc.” Upon arrival Walter greeted me and offered me a ride to the local (amazing) Fashion Square Mall where I could shop until the car was finished (4-6 hours.) Once I returned I was introduced to the detailer, Ben. He explained the process and how he buffed out EVERY inch of the car ridding it of every slight scratch on the car. He even offered to mix paint and fill the few nicks / chips in the paint next time I came out. Inside and out it was spotless. Carpets shampooed, leather conditioned, windows spotless, every nook and cranny was perfect. I can tell you, I’m more impressed every time I think I can find an area he missed... There are none. Everywhere I look I find that it was cleaned to the ‘enth’ detail. I could not recommend First Class Auto Body more and hope that you I find more companies from Angies List with this kind of service. Everyone I came into contact with at First Class Auto Body & Fiberglass Inc was courteous and knowledgeable and my car looked great when I picked it up. Overall it was a good experience, and I will use them again to detail my car.

My son was the designated driver when they went partying. Unfortunately his buddy got sick on the way home and messed up the car interior. I bought the Big Deal and took the car in to get detailed. I was very happy with the results. All evidence (visual and smell) were gone. The car looks great. Although it was not specified in the big deal offer, they refinished the very yellow headlight lenses to near new condition.

Felt it was an outstanding experience. The time was extended. If this ever happens again, I will take a car directly to First class and let them handle the rest. The sooner the car is in their capable hands, the work will get done faster.

Needed to have my XLR detailed and this can be tricky because of the self contained retractable roof. While on the phone with the owner, I told him of my hesitation. He assured me he had done several XLR's in the past and could not foresee any problems. When I returned later in the day to pick up my car it looked better than new and the price was exactly as stated. Everything was detailed, the trunk, the interior, the wheel wells, the glove box, great work. I will definitely go back.

My 2000 model Nissan Pathfinder was in need of detailing and a few repairs. My plan was to have the front bumper repaired and repainted initially but decided to have the car detailed as well. My goal was to prepare the car for sale and this work needed to be done prior to selling. I brought my car in without an appointment and met the manager, Wally. Wally looked at the car and gave me a very good price for both the bumper repair and the detailing. I had additional quotes from other shops and Wally's price was far better than any other. Not only was he very pleasant, he also gave me a great price! When the car repairs were completed, it looked great. It looked so great, the employee who repaired the bumper decided to buy the car from me. What a deal. All said, First Class Auto Body is just that, first class. The whole team, from the owner to every employee, was very easy to work with and they did an outstanding job. I would recommend these guys to anyone. They are honest, very price competitive and a pleasure to work with. This is quite rare in this day and age. A definite 10 out of 10.

Don't waste your time going somewhere else.

My experience with First Class was wonderful! Scheduling was easy. The job was completed timely with attention shown to detail. There were only a few areas on the inside that I thought could have been wiped down more thoroughly. The employees showed me their work before I pulled away and wanted to answer any questions I had. I highly recommend a detail job done at First Class. Their customer service is worth it all! 85

OK, but we were disappointed it did not include elimination of smoke odor. We also had them do some upholstery work not included in the "deal" for an extra cost - which they in turn subbed out. The upholstery work did not last and within a week or so I had to ask for my money back for that work, which he gladly refunded to me. The car looked good when we got it back the next day.

Great experience. Friendly staff and very thorough detail. The interior carpets were well cleaned, the leather seats were revived and looked great, and the paint looked like new.

Excellent job; may have been the best detailing my car has had. Very professiona job. I would defnitely recomend this company.

We purchased a Big Deal detailing and added repair of the rear bumper of our car. All work was accomplished in one day because of the manager's extra effort of having the bumper removed and worked on separately while the detailing was being done. The detailing was exceptionally well done and the bumper repair could not be seen or felt. Very pleased with the service we got.

The work was performed but the car wasn't ready until late the next day. The window tint repair looked good, the car detail was less than terrific.

It took a few tries to get an appointment scheduled but mostly because I was very busy at the time and so were they.

Called to make an appointment - no issues there. Got there, spoke to them, dropped off the car... they called later that day to say it was ready... I went to get it, and it was beautiful! Looked brand new... inside and out. They really did a good job as far as I could tell. Picked up the car and drove home. No issues, and I would recommend them to others.

Too many things were missed. Price was good only if it was done well. I didn't realize most of the issues until I left.

Okay but not much different from when I brought the car in except they put my floor mats in the trunk. h

They did a great job. They were very thorough.

Second vehicle detailed at this location, 1st was prior to selling it, they did a great job and rated it as an A My fiance dropped the car off at the shop and they gave her a ride to the mall while it was being detailed. Picked her up a few hours later and the car looked very nice for the age and condition it was in. Was hoping they could get the carpet cleaner, but its from the north and there is alot of snow and dirt accompanied by it was a very light colored carpet which did not help the case. Was also hoping they could get some of the scratches out when they buffed it to, so I'm only giving them a B as this car was very big, time consuming and older, still would of liked it to come out a little better. Overall great experience and will frequent them again. I did ask for an estimate on a window fix and they were quite busy and did not return the phone call with a quote. Things happen, but the detail experience was great. I look forward to taking in my corvette next time to get detailed.

Some of the windows weren't cleaned as thoroughly as I wanted, however the rest of the car looked great.

Excellent job. I was pleased with the promptness of the work, and everything was done to my satisfaction. Price was resonable for the work performed. Would certainly use again.
