He was prompt and efficient. I was very satisfied with the work and the price. He also made sure to clean everything and left no mess behind. I have no complaints. I would recommend Eric the Handyman to anyone.

I wanted to get the whirlpool working, but only if it could be done at a reasonable cost and without having to disturb the tile around the tub. Eric came up with a very reasonable idea to gain access through the garage, but that proved to be disruptive too since my garage cabinets would need to be removed to do the job. He did saw through the first sheetrock wall, but then found a 2nd sheetrock wall 6 inches further in. At that point I decided we'd done enough and asked Eric to patch the sheetrock and call it quits. Here's the good part...Eric was at my home about an hour working on this problem but didn't want to charge me anything because he did not get the whirlpool going. No travel time, no money for the work he did, not anything at all. I insisted on giving him $20 for gas at least and now I kind of feel like I was too cheap. I guess I was so surprised at not being charged I was off my game a bit. Anyway, you can't get more straight-up than that and I would definately call Eric the Handyman again.

"standard" work went well (e.g., paint touch-up, install new faucet), "non=standard" work went so-so; maybe we should have spent more on specialists.

I called Eric to replace a broken garbage disposal at a rental house. Eric contacted the tenant and replaced it. He was on time and did a great job.

We called Eric back in December of 2009 for several handyman repairs, and he's been our handyman ever since. This last job involved repainting an exterior wall that needed cleaning up; resealing several bottom door seals (to prepare for summer) and putting a final coat of polyurethane on external doors that receive direct afternoon sunlight. Eric's been great to work with, is very responsive, and his pricing is fair for the work completed.

He was messy and didn't clean up after himself. He put holes in my lineleum floors with ladder and one appointment he never showed up or called.

He did a very good job, but the only problem was that he was unavailable and that was because he was busy on certain days. We had to wait for a couple of weeks before he could come out to get the work done. However, I wouldn't consider that as a negative point. We were very satisfied with him. He came out on a Friday, Saturday and even on a Sunday to get the work done. The price that I paid him was about $50 an hour. He had a very good knowledge of what we wanted and he did that. He was very responsive to our needs. He made some changes and got some new material once he understood the work that we wanted. He was very punctual and professional too. If need be, then we would use his services in the future and we would recommend him to others as well.

In March, I sent an email to the email address listed for this service. After a day and a half of no response, I decided to call to see if he had received the email. He was driving when I called and told me he had received the email the night before but did not have a chance to reply. We discussed, at a high level, some of what I was requiring for his service, both currently and in the future. Since he was driving he asked if he could get back to me after he had a chance to check his calendar that evening. I said sure, it was not an emergency...Well, it's been 5 months and I've NEVER RECEIVED A RESPONSE.

I left a message with my phone number. I received no return call, but it has only been about three weeks.

Eric was excellent to work with. He was responsive about setting the appt., showed up on time and did a great job on the work. He has a real can-do attitude and talked through the repairs and possible solutions to come up with an approach that worked for me. The quality of the work he did was top notch.

I will definitely call Eric again in the future. He is professional, honest, and very careful. He's extremely personable, communicates well and from what I experienced, deserves the A grades he has received by former customers.

Eric was excellent! Was able to do work shortly after being called. Arrived promptly for both appointments. Was knowledgeable and professional. Offered cost-saving solutions and good advice. Excellent communication. Great "can do" attitude. Will be returning for additional projects.

He went up in attic with me, removed the old fan, and explained why it wasn't operational. I wanted to see about getting a replacement fan blade and he bared with me while I made a few calls to see about its replacement. After two calls, we determined it wasn't practical to replace just the blade and he had already called Home Depot and found a new fan and housing was only $72.00. It made no sense to chase around town to try to get a blade, so he went with me to Home Depot nearby and we looked at the one he had priced and after a short deliberation with a sales person, purchased it. He put it in promptly and just charged me for two hours labor, which I thought was reasonable. By the way, when I called him he happened to be right in my neighborhood and came right over!

Went great. He was able to come within a week after we called. He got the work done quickly and the doors look great.

Eric returned our call promptly for an estimate. He gave us a flat hourly rate. He arrived promptly, scoped out the work and set off to get materials. He ended up tearing out the bottom shelf of our under-sink cabinet in the kitchen and applied "new skins" to two other double sinks and a single sink. He neither under-sold or over-sold the work to be done. He performed his wood-cutting in the bed of his truck in our driveway. Eric is a very pleasant person to interact with. He completed the work in a very reasonable amount of time, which when multiplied out by his hourly rate, turned out to be a very satisfying price to pay for the work performed. His work turned out really well. Our cabinets look terrific and we are completely elated with the transaction. Before he left, we had a list started for his next visit: Ceiling fans, re-connecting plumbing after someone else installs new counter tops, a toilet and some screen repairs. Eric said he likes lists...

Eric is a great guy, always friendly and very honest and reasonable. If he thought something was going to take less time than he quoted for he adjusted the price and charged less. He also does great work and he actually shows up!
