Cool-Aid Air Conditioning and Heating

I had a great experience with Cool-Aid! Our Nest thermostat had an error message causing the a/c not to work. Dave and Kenny were able to troubleshoot the thermostat and fix the blown fuse on the a/c unit which was causing the error message. They were both professional and efficient while fixing the problem. I would definitely recommend Cool-Aid!!

I mistakenly assumed he was a decent upstanding member of the community. I was so wrong.

Dave was recommended by a friend that has been using him for over 20 years as well as other relatives. Called Dave on Tuesday night and had an apt set up for noon the next day. Dave called and let me know he was 20 minutes away. Both Dave and his son Ken showed up on time, were polite and went right to work on the problem. They found a bad capacitor and replaced it then checked out operation of the system and ensured the unit was providing the right amount of cool air in the rooms. They also checked the Freon level of the condenser. Since they were here had them check the other unit as well at the other end of the house. Dave is going to email me an estimate for replacing both condensers in the future should they need it. Very pleased with his customer service and quick response as well as honesty. I would recommend him for any A/C service. Thanks Dave

Dave Hernandez and his crew of service technicians at Cool-Aid Air Conditioning and Heating have maintained and installed our heating and cooling system in our home since we moved into our home in 2002. You can count on Dave to offer rational advice and affordable options for repair and replacement of home cooling and heating systems.
In 2009, Cool-Aid installed a completely new HVAC system for our home at a cost of approximately $6,500. Cool-Aid removed the old air handler and furnace from a closet area inside our home and the inadequately small condenser unit at ground level outside the home.
Dave and his crew used a crane to install a complete HVAC unit on the roof of our home, freeing up space inside and on the exterior of the house. His crew removed the old equipment, installed the new equipment, completed new ductwork, installed a new thermostat and tested the equipment in an amazing day and a half.
The new HVAC American Standard unit operates so quietly, I had at first thought it wasn't operating properly when it was first turned on. I have been very pleased at how quietly and efficiently the unit runs.

Dave from Cool-Aid showed up quickly when our AC stopped working. He determined it was a short in our thermostat and adjusted the wiring so that the AC would work until we were able to get a new one. Dave easily could have charged us for parts/services that weren't needed, but was honest that it was just a faulty thermostat and a quick fix. His professionalism & honestly was very much appreciated. We'll definitely be using Cool-Aid in the future.

I have been using their services for a couple years. They do good work, are very professional and get it done in a timely manner. They always clean up and I have never had any complaints.

HORRIBLE. WE WERE CHARGED $60.00 FOR MR. HERNANDEZ TO PULL UP IN FRONT OF OUR HOME. THEN HE CHARGED US $100 FOR A $10 FUSE, WHICH TOOK HIM ABOUT 5 MINUTES TO INSTALL. WE FEEL THIS IS EXCESSIVE. HE SAID SOMETHING TO THE EFFECT THAT MOST PEOPLE ARE JUST HAPPY THAT WE FIXED THEIR A/C, THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT THE COST. HE WAS GOING TO CHARGE USE $175. WE TOLD HIM HE WAS ON ANGIE'S LIST AND THAT IS WHY WE CALLED HIM. HE HAD NO IDEA WHAT ANGIE'S LIST WAS. THIS IS THE MOST DISTURBING.

MARK BRYANT OF COOL AID REFRIGERATION IS AN EXCELLENT BUSINESSMAN AND PERSON. HE IS THOROUGH AND EXTREMELY HONEST. I'VE GIVEN HIS NAME TO MANY FRIENDS WITH A/C PROBLEMS AND THEY'VE ALL BEEN PLEASED WITH THE SERVICE.
