There were a few issues, but Kevin (The owner) was kind enough to recognize them and offer solutions. Once all was complete, the floor looked good. Some areas for improvement may be in communication, which I know Kevin is working on. Thank you for completing the garage floor and fixing the issues along the way.

Two workers showed up on time and worked for approximately two hours the first day. Three workers showed up the second day and completed the job. We are very happy with the results!

Brilliant Epoxy turned our experience epoxying the entire inside of our home from a disaster into a great experience. My husband and I decided to epoxy the entire inside of our home - all 1850 ft2. Initially, we decided to do it ourselves. We went into the local Benjamin Moore store to do some research and were convinced by the owner that we did not have the skill or expertise to do it ourselves. The owner recommended a local painting company to use. I will call that company "Company A". I met with the project manager of Company A who excitedly took on the job. He told me the job would be very simple one-week job and it would look great. He told me he had done a lot of epoxying and this would be easy. I showed him an area of concern - we had filled in our sunken living room and the concrete mixture has been very wet and the finished concrete was a bit bumpy - but the project manager told me it would not be a problem. I will cut out a lot of details, needless to say, after seven weeks and three attempts by Company A we were considering firing from them from the job. Their work was awful - lots of debris in the paint, bubbling, cracking, they were unable to smooth out the bumpy concrete, inadequate mixture of filler so there were parts of our floor we could touch and filler would ooze out. My husband and I wanted to make sure we weren't expecting too much so we called Kevin and asked him to come look at our home to see if the work Company A was doing was indeed inferior. Kevin agreed to meet us. When he did meet us he spent 1 1/2 hours explaining to us what Company A was doing incorrectly and that he could fix it. We promptly fired Company A and hired Kevin. Kevin and his team ground out the bad epoxy job. They smoothed out the bumpy concrete. Their painting job was incredible. And they did this all in four days. My husband and I are so amazed with their work. A few things that amazed me most about Kevin and his company:1. I talked to Kevin about four times before he came out to our home. Every time I called he promptly picked up the phone and answered all of my questions really well. Initially I did not think I would be hiring him - Kevin told me he no longer did residential interiors. I was impressed that he was willing to spend so much time with me even though he was not going to be making any money off of me. 2. When I did ask him to come out to my home to check Company A's work, it was with the understanding that he would not be financially rewarded in any way (after all, he didn't do residential interiors). He was willing to come see our home and let us know whether or not we were crazy in our expectations. 3. When he did agree to come he said he would be there for five minutes, look at the work, and write us up something that we could take to small claims court or the R.O.C. if we did decide to fire Company A and in turn Company A decided to sue us. When Kevin did arrive he saw just how bad the work was and spent 1 1/2 hours talking to us. 4. Kevin offered to do our floors. When I asked him why he would do our floors when he no longer did residential interiors he gave me two reasons: a) We really needed the help. When he said this my husband told me later that he felt like he was on an episode of Holmes on Homes and Mike just showed up to save us. Except it was Kevin saving us. I can not express to you the relief my husband and I felt after going through the eight-week disaster with the other company. b) He had a crew that was finishing work that week and didn't have any work scheduled the next week. Without our home, they wouldn't be working the next week. I really appreciate a small business owner that values his/her employees and wants to make sure that his/her employees are working and happy. 5. Kevin himself made hardly any money on our home. He did it because he saw we needed help and to keep his employees well employed. 6. Brilliant Epoxy arrives on time, does their work on time, and look and act professionally while doing it. 7. I think the thing that amazed me the most, though, was when Kevin did the walk-through with us. He found a dime size imperfection (some debris) that he said needed to be taken care of. Kevin said they couldn't grind out just that area and repaint it because there would always be an overlapping of paint and it would look awful. So to redo that area he needed to redo the whole room. Well, my husband and I are doing a very modern look in our home and have knocked out all walls in the common area so to redo this dime size area meant that he would need to redo 1200 ft2. I told him I didn't care - after Company A's work that little debris was nothing. Kevin said "This will be like a mosquito bite. At first it doesn't bother you. Then you start scratching it and it's all you can focus on. I am not okay with doing work that later you will think 'I can't believe Kevin did such bad work.' I only deliver excellence and this is not excellence. I want to redo it." Kevin redid most of our home to take care of that dime size imperfection. I was stunned. He says he demands excellence of his company and he delivers. If you are considering hiring Kevin - let me say this. My husband and I made the mistake of hiring a general painting company. If you are considering epoxying your floors, go with an epoxying specialist, someone who does just epoxying. If I needed braces, I would go to an orthodontist, not a general dentist. Treat your floors the same way - go with the specialist. And choose Kevin. He and his company is AMAZING!

The floor came out fantastic! I chose the 3 layer w/clear Urethane and it just looks great. The crew showed up on time and went right to work doing the prep work on the floor. Anyone knows a good paint job comes down to how well the prep work was done and these guys worked for hours cleaning, etching, washing and diamond sanding my garage floor. Then they put the epoxy with the chips blown on and returned the following day to apply the clear urethane. Everyone who see's this floor comments on how good it looks.

The owner of the company was very helpful and professional on the phone when I initially contacted him on the phone. He was on time when he showed up for the job. He was courteous and professional and nice to talk to. He brought his crew with him to start the job and they worked very hard all day. He kept me informed the entire time to let me know how they were doing and when they would be done. I was very happy with the finished product and I am very glad that we hired Brilliant Epoxy Floors Inc. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!!

As a Realtor it is very important that when I recommend a service provider to my clients the contractor take as much care as I would with my clients. Kevin worked with my clients, who just purchased a home, with a very neglected 3-car garage. Kevin painted the walls, filled in holes, expoxy painted the floors and did a WONDERFUL job. Kevin came out and gave me an estimate for both the flooring and painting. He was prompt and thoroughly professional, and described the flooring process in detail. The work itself took two days; he came back on the third day, noticed a slight blemish in one part of the floor (I had trouble seeing it myself) and insisted on putting on another coat because, in his words, "I'm a perfectionist." Absolutely first class work, both the flooring and painting. Highly recommended.

Kevin was very responsive to our request to visit our house to provide us an estimate and to explain our options for putting an epoxy floor down in our garage. Because we hadn't moved into our house yet, it also made sense to have Kevin paint the interior of the garage before doing the floor. We made the right decision. Kevin and his team arrived to do the work when they said they would, took time to take down some shelves I no longer wanted in the garage before painting the interior, and then put down the 5-layer epoxy floor over the two days he had promised. When he and his team finished the job, things looked perfect. The team completely cleaned up after themselves! Our neighbors have seen our garage floor and made many positive comments about it, some who had used other contractors and expressed that they wished they had used Kevin. Overall, we had a very positive experience with Kevin and highly recommend he and his team for your epoxy floor project. We found the quality of his work excellent and his pricing reasonable.

The Owner Kevin explained over the phone everything he could do for us. We felt comfortable and asked him to come out to our home and give us a written estimate for our exterior painting and our garage floor. His estimate was slightly higher than the lowest bid we received but my Husband and I really liked Kevin and thought he would do a great job. We hired him and are so happy we did. He and his company did a great job and we are very satisfied with the work performed and the quality.

One word - PERFECTION! Kevin is a great guy, very hard working, and a perfectionist! We had three estimates done and he was the lowest price for the highest quality epoxy floor system. I had no idea how many different systems there are and Kevin was willing to explain them all. After confirming what he said with a bit of research (internet, consumer reports, and friends), we noticed he was the only one that was 100% honest. It was also obvious that he wanted the job (the others just seemed to go through the motions). Kevin arrived 30 minutes early to ensure he could get the project done in one day. Within a few hours, all the oil and other stains disappeared from the floor and it was hydrocleaned. Before lunch, the bottom layers were down and left to dry. After lunch the floor was ready for the final layers and the job was completed early and right on budget. Moreover, after the final layer was done, Kevin said that he saw a few imperfections in the layer (no matter how many times he pointed it out to me, I couldn't see it at all), but Kevin insisted on another layer for free to remove those imperfection that only his eagle eye saw. The floor looks beautiful and we have Kevin to thank for it. One thing worth noting - after the floor was in and looking amazing I realized that the paint in the garage looked awful. I would highly recommend at least considering repainting your garage before putting an epoxy floor since now I have to be careful not to spill paint on the floor!

Perfect. As this was for a new home we needed specific timing to get it done before we moved in. Kevin is highly professional and was very flexible and did the job in one day. He did a beautiful job. My son-in-law then used him for their new home and had a similar excellent experience.

OWNER, KEVIN MARKS, CAME OUT TO GIVE AN ESTIMATE. THE PRICING FOR THE VINYL CHIP FLOORS ARE PRETTY MUCH THE SAME. THE DECIDING FACTORS FOR US WERE THAT THEY USED MUCH MORE VINYL CHIP ON FLOOR AND THE FLOOR CARRIES A LIFETIME WARRANTY. SINCE WE PLAN ON BEING IN OUR HOUSE FOR SOME TIME, THE ONE TO FIVE YEAR WARRANTIES WERE OF NO INTEREST TO US. THE COMPANY PRESSURE WASHED AND ETCHED THE CONCRETE, CAULKED THE SLAB JOINTS, FILLED A SLAB CRACK, DIAMOND GROUND THE FLOOR AND SANDED THE FLOOR. THEY EPOXIED THE FLOOR AND STEM WALLS AND ADDED THE VINYL CHIPS THE FIRST DAY. ON THE SECOND DAY, THE EXCESS VINYL CHIPS ARE REMOVED AND A GLOSS COAT IS ADDED. ON THE THIRD DAY, THEY SAND THE FIRST GLOSS COAT AND ADD A SECOND. FLOOR LOOKS GREAT. EVERYONE WHO SEES IT IS IMPRESSED, SO I HAVE GIVEN THIS COMPANY'S NAME TO MANY INTERESTED PEOPLE.

THE ESTIMATE WAS THE LOWEST WE RECEIVED. THIS GARAGE FLOOR WAS IN VERY BAD SHAPE AND WE WONDERED IF WE WOULD BE WASTING OUR MONEY. PART OF THE FLOOR HAD OUTDOOR CARPETING GLUED DOWN. THE RESULTS WERE EXCELLENT, THE FLOOR LOOKED BRAND NEW.
