Description of Work: This is the worst service contractor I have ever used. Unfortunately, I let it go on too long before I terminated them. I have a very small piece of property for landscaping to begin with, and always felt I was being overcharged. I have been in my home for a year and a half. I just continued the landscaper the previous owner used. The first 6 months I questioned what they did. I work so I was never home when they came. After 7 months I physically moved out of the house because we had a major renovation job inside the home. I noticed that the quality of the landscaping work went down hill. My renovation contractor started making comments about how little time they spent working on the yard when they came. Some months I questioned whether they came at all, but at the end second guessed myself. When I moved back in, I happened to be in the house when they came for monthly maintenance. They literally spent 20 minutes in the yard. The next month they didn't come at all, but I got an invoice. I contacted them and said they must have made a mistake invoicing me, because no one came this month. The response was, "Sorry, they went to the wrong house."

Description of Work: Bim's crew did an excellent job on my yard. They were friendly and communicative. They did what I asked. I noticed they even covered their load on the truck before they left which is a first! I'm glad I found them, and will definitely keep using them.!

 + 0 moreBim's customer service was excellent. They were able to visit my home (while I was at work) and give me an estimate within a couple of days. Although he said they no longer do extensive sprinkler repair, he was willing to look at the problem and repair it if it was relatively simple. He advised me that they would be unable to do the work for about a week, and about a week later, called and set up an appointment. Again, I was at work when the work was done and arrived home to a beautifully cleaned and landscaped back patio! They also replaced the valve in my sprinkler system! I received two bills the next week ($95 for the clean up and $85 for the sprinkler repair) in the exact amounts he quoted.
Description of Work: Bim's cleaned up the plants and trees on my patio area and repaired a valve that was leaking in my sprinkler system.

Description of Work: Bim's totally removed 4 large oleanders. They removed a dead ficus tree as well. They also heavily prunted a long row on oleanders by our side fence.

 + -1 moreThe company referred to NAOS (natural area open space) land as home owners association land....and did not have a licensed Arborist, which is required by law when making any alterations to that specific type of land due to the federal regulations. The company didn't recognize at all that there would be legal ramifications for doing any work at all to that land.....I called the company to make them aware of the situation and no response was ever received.
Description of Work: Prepared for estimate for maintenance and general yard cleanup.

 + -1 moreI contacted Bim Fritz using the information on the List. He came out within two days and gave me an estimate; I accepted it the next day and he and his 3-man crew came out within the week and did the work.
Description of Work: Bim's trimmed my Palo Verde (a large one), cut down the Mexican Honeysuckle to about 5', shaped my pineapple palm, trimmed the creeping jade away from my wall, and cleaned out the weeds in my backyard. Then they blew all the debris out of the yard and carried away all the trimmings. All done very professionally and quickly.

Bim returns calls and sets up appointments in a timely way and the workers arrive on time, do very good work at a good price, and clean up completely before they leave. This time they tackled a big mess and had everything looking great in just a little over an hour. We plan to use them again and again.
Description of Work: The crew cut and trimmed dead branches from a great number of bushes that had been damaged by cold weather, removed a small dead tree, and cleaned everything up, which was a big job because there were so many dead leaves and branches.

 + -1 moreThe company was timely and efficient. However, unless you are there to oversee, they chop and chain saw without paying attention to effect. They chopped huge arms off my palo verde from the ground that cannot grow back. They also dropped a huge arm off another tree onto my shed and bent the top of it. So, as long as you are home to watch and direct, they are probably fine, but since they are in to being fast, they tend to be sloppy.
Description of Work: Trimming trees and shrubs and general yard clean up.

 + -1 moreThe entire job went very well. My initial call was quickly returned and the estimate was set up. We agreed on a price for the work needed, very reasonable I thought. Bim and his group came out early the following week and had the work done quickly and beautifully. Both front and back yards looked neat, clean, and trimmed up well. I was happy to tip a few extra bucks. Bim's service is wonderful and professional. I'd recommend them to everyone.
Description of Work: The front and back yard both needed a new look! Weeds needed to be pulled, trees needed to be trimmed, and debris throughout the yard gravel needed to be removed. Gravel needed raking.

 + -1 moreIt went quite well. While Bim's is too busy to take on more regular lawn work clients, they worked me in for winter overseeding since that is handled by a different crew. The crew showed up promptly, scalped the grass, overseeded, checked the sprinklers and set the sprinkler timer for me.

They are very reasonably priced and all I have to do is ask if I need extra work done and they oblige. Phone calls are returned promptly which is a real plus for me. I believe they are very ''customer oriented''. I highly recommend them.
Description of Work: I have yard maintenance done every other week @ $65.00 per visit. This includes Mowing, weed eater edging in front & back yard, keeping bushes trimmed in front blowing out planter areas, patios, driveway areas and cleaning up debris as needed. All clippings and debris are hauled away.

THEY ARE VERY COURTEOUS, COMPLETELY UNIMPOSING AND RESPONSIVE TO EVERY REQUEST. BIM CALLED ME RIGHT BACK, DROVE BY WHEN HE SAID HE WOULD, GAVE ME A QUOTE AND STUCK TO IT. MORE THAN REASONABLE. FRANKLY I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO USING THEM AGAIN.
Description of Work: BIM'S DID THE WHOLE YARD; MOWING, TRIMMING SEVERAL TREES, BLOWING DEBRIS OFF ROCK, RAKING, SWEEPING THE DRIVEWAY, SIDEWALK AND PATIO. THE NASTIEST JOB WAS TRIMMING THE ALOE VERDE TREE WHICH WAS OUT OF CONTROL AND FULL OF STICKERS. BOTH MEN KEPT ASKING ME IF EVERYTHING WAS OK AND PROMPTLY CLIPPED HERE AND THERE IF I ASKED.

 + -1 moreThe owner, Bim Fritz, was on time the day of our appointment to discuss what we wanted done. Mr. Fritz was knowledgeable and easy to communicate with. We agreed on a price and planned to do the job the following week. The crew, including Bim Fritz's son, arrived on schedule the following week and did an excellent job. Initially, they did not trim the acacia tree in our front yard as extensively as we desired; we asked them to do some additional trimming, and they did so without complaint. We have had several other companies do similar work, and our bougainvilla looks better now than after any other companies work. We intend to call this company back for further work when needed. We feel that the price was fair, that the work was done professionally, and we will recommend this company to friends and neighbors.
Description of Work: Trimmed several trees, oleander, bougainvilla, other shrubs, and ground cover. Cleaned up entire yard (front, back and sides) and hauled away yard waste. Used a blower on all plants and rock to get all leaves from under trees and shrubs.
