A Always Open Garage Doors

This was a very gratifying experience. We had been fighting with our garage door opener - sometimes it would work, other times it didn't work. We finally called A-Always Open Garage Doors at about 10:30 AM on the 14th of August. Zack came at 3PM and by about 4:45PM we had a new opener, new rollers, all other parts checked, and on top of it our garage floor swept. I have a very particular tenant living in my rental home, so when she raved about Zach and the work done on the broken garage door opener, I knew these guys were terrific. They got to the job about an hour after I called, they were meticulous (according to my fussy tenant), professional and attentive. Suffice to say this service call made my life much easier! Technician arrived promptly on time, immediately recognized the problem and explained the situation and my options in language that I could understand. He quoted the job on site and was able to get to work immediately. He completed the job quickly, inspected other aspects of my garage door and cleaned up when he was finished. The garage door spring broke early Sunday morning. I first called a prominent, well-regarded garage door company that offered 24/7 service. The guy who answered the phone didn't sound too thrilled about being "on call" and told me the service would be double the normal price because it was Sunday. I declined their service and then called Always Open Garage Doors. The owner, Mark, responded cheerfully at 8:30am on Sunday and we arranged a time for service later that day. No extra fees applied for Sunday service. Mark's son Ray arrived on time and was very professional and courteous. He fixed the original problem and I also opted to have him replace our 17-year-old rollers. This is a family owned and operated business. I appreciate their 24/7 availability, professionalism and consistent prices.

Zach was professional, courteous, and arrived on time. He explained what he thought the problem was and said that he might have to replace the garage door opener if his fixes didn?t work. He could have said the opener had to be replaced and I would have been none the wiser, but twenty minutes later the fixes worked and the garage door worked beautifully. I would definitely use them again.

The service tech arrived on time. He identified himself as being from this business and was properly dressed. He surveyed the service needed and provided me with the cost. He answered all my questions and was very polite. The door is running great and is much quieter. I would use this company again.

Called because of a snapped cable and subsequent heavily damaged garage door. Luckily, they had a crew in the neighborhood, and set up an appt for the same day. Tech showed up on time, diagnosed the problem, gave a good estimate of the problem and cost to repair. Repairs took nearly 2 hours, but the work was flawless and top notch. Very professional and would recommend them to anyone. Thought the price was fair given the amount of labor and parts.

I called Mark around 8:15 am and told him about the broken spring. He arrived promptly at 9:15 am, was able to open the door so that we could get the cars out, and promptly made the fix. Awesome response time and service!

Garage door failed to open after hours and we found Always Open on Angie's List. As promised, they were Always Open and the owner's son and assistant (Ray/Dan) arrived within a few hours. The failure was due to a broken spring, and they replaced the springs. We also, as maintenance, replaced 10 bearing rollers. They ran through a 15 point safety checklist, and provided two new remotes. They were done within about an hour. For after hours service, minimal wait time, and for what was done the price was right (offset further by an Angie's List coupon). We were very impressed with the level of service professionalism overall. Always Open would be the first call we make next time there's a garage door failure.

Owner Mark did a great job replacing the 26-year-old "weatherstripping" (or what was left of it) on the bottoms of our 16-ft. and 8-ft. garage doors. We were going to do it ourselves, but due to the construction of our doors, it would have required us to dismantle the bottom corners of the doors, which we knew could be a risky endeavor, considering there were clamps and cables involved. Also, a previous owner actually put a screw into the bottom of the door through the old weatherstripping and the screw head had broken off and made it impossible to slide out the old rubber gasket, but Mark hung in there and figured out a way to remove the screw and slide in the new weatherstripping. He even lubed the doors, and he didn't try to sell me anything extra either, which I VERY MUCH appreciated. I am an older female and a prime target for "upselling," I would think. I did ask him myself what he thought of the aging garage doors (which would have been a golden opportunity for him to go into "sales" mode), but all he said was that we would eventually need new rollers. Mark was very pleasant, prompt, professional, and reasonable -- his free service call (reg. $59) and $20 off coupon really helped with the price. He even cheerfully put up with our five obnoxious dogs at one point when he had to make a foray into the house to open the garage from the inside. He did a great job. The doors look really nice now. I like using a family business like A Always Open Garage Doors.

Amazing! I called at 1PM, they were here by 2:30 PM, and were done by 4PM. Quickly and efficiently identified and fixed the problem.

I highly recommend this company and Mark Dalsoglio based on my experience. He was prompt, professional, competent and ethical. I plan on using Mark and his company to replace the garage door opener system in my other home.

We were able to immediately reach Mark who promised that he would be in the area within 3 hours. He actually showed up in about an hour and a half. He immediately diagnosed the problem and was able to fix it plus give a full tune-up in half an hour. Very professional and responsive.

They met me at my rental house and were right on time as promissed to provide an estimate. The estimate was pretty much what I was expecting to have to pay. They showed up for the install on the day and time promissed; 8:00am and were completely finished by 10:45am. They went over all the operating details and even helped me program the existing wireless outside keypad. They left the garage cleaner than what they originally found. The price was exactly what they had quoted me; no add-ons or surprises. Both gentlemen, although they appeared young, were very professional, courtious and proficient. The price was comparable to most other companies that I considered and I was more than surprised by their customer interface. I believe they are a family-owned business and having owned and operated my own business for many years, that ranks pretty high in my opinion. I would definetly use them again for an install or repair and would recommend them without exception. Job well done!

The Problem: Garage door has not been closing down completely. Door closes approximately 1 foot from floor, then bounces back up. Sometimes, for several minutes. Eventually it will close, but not without frustration. The Cure: The family of A Always Open Garage Doors~ Dan of A Always Open Garage Doors arrived on time to appointment to give estimate of repair to garage door at the house where I live in Tempe. The door's problem was that it was bouncing back up after it was sent to close, repeatedly, many times before it would finally close down completely. The garage door is believed to be the original door on the house built in 1986. Door was in need of new rollers, repair and replacement of hinges/bolts, lubrication and relocation of sensors. At first, this seemed to repair issue, but found that the wiring was also in need of repair/replacement. The electric door opener, which was installed in 2009, was done improperly. (by a company no longer in business). Dan replaced the worn out wiring and installed new sensors. Door is now well behaving! Thank you Dan, Jake and Mark of A Always Open Garage Door!

Great company! Called after 9pm and spoke to Mark. Set up appt for next day. Dan arrived on time, analyzed the issue and provided the quote. Was also able to do the tune up for the 2nd door; did it all in less than 2 hrs.

When my husband returned home from work and parked in the garage, he found that the garage door would not close. He called the garage door company and they were able to come to our house that same evening. They arrived before their scheduled time (1 1/2 hours after we called) and completed the work very professionally and quickly. They replaced the motor on our garage opener and it has worked perfectly since. This is my second time using A Always Open Garage Doors and I plan on using them as my go to company in the future as well.

I was very pleased. I called the owner at 5:30pm after I heard a very loud noise coming from my garage. I wasn't sure what happened, but I couldn't get the garage door to work and knew I wouldn't be able to get out. He was great, told me he could have Dan here between 7:30-9pm and he was. I was shocked there wasn't an extra fee for after hours. I called to get a couple of quotes and 1 charged for after hours, the other two didn't. I liked that because household problems don't always occur conveniently between 8am and 5pm. Both Mark the owner and his son, Dan were very professional. When Dan arrived he installed the new spring in about 1/2 hour or less and when he was finished he explained what he did and asked me about getting new rollers. It was only $60 extra for the new rollers, which I thought was a very fair price and good investment, since they require no upkeep and they are quieter then the metal kind that came with the door. It was a great experience, especially considering it was after hours. They were very professional, very reasonably priced, and on time. I would definitely call on them again if I need garage door services and would confidently refer them to others! Thank you Mark and Dan!

They were on time and did a excellent job and very timely, with excellent clean-up afterward. I would use them for any garage door services needed.

The part that pulls the garage door open separated from the automatic opener. After reviewing the Angie's List contractors, I selected Always Open and called them. The owner, Mark, sent his son Zach out within 3 hours. Zach explained why the part separated (due to an inadequate repair from another company). The door was a bit warped and there were other problems. To do all of the repairs would have cost several hundred dollars. I decided it was time to replace the door. The automatic opener did not need to be replaced. Zach did a temporary fix. Mark and his son Dan came as scheduled to install the new door, springs, tracks, etc. They were a pleasure to work with. I would give them an A+.

When I called I had to leave a message. The owner returned the call in under an hour. We could have had same day service, but I couldn?t make it that night. The owner?s son came the next day at 7pm after work (very convenient). 90 mins after his arrival our 27 year old garage door was fixed and working again for under $200. All the wheels had to be replaced and a complete tune up ? including tightening of all the bolts and full lubrication was done. The repair man was very polite and courteous and explained everything he did. I would hire them again. I highly recommend them.

Dan came over on time and was able to fix the problem within 45 minutes. We needed new sensor lights with some minor wiring work. He also said we should add a bar to brace the door better to lessen the chance of bigger issues down the line. I had to pass on the bar and just went with the sensor because we just don't have the extra money right now but will have them come back out and add the bar in the future. Overall, real happy with the costs and the service.

Service was excellent. We had a car trapped in garage, so timeliness was important. Vendor came same day, said would return that evening to replace as rest of day's schedule was booked. He came when he said he would and worked for 1 1/2 hr in very cold garage. Door works better than it ever has, more smoothly and quietly, installation of guides to detect object in way of door good (and now up to code). Vendor was courteous, neat, and efficient. We rec'd our Angie's discount with ease. Would definitely use again.
