Robert was excellent to work with from the first time we met to discuss an estimate. He was very professional and answered all the questions I asked with great detail. I moved from the Midwest to Tucson and I was not familiar with landscaping in the area and Robert did a great job designing our landscaping using our ideas. The crew arrived on time as scheduled and where very professional and hard working. You could tell they really enjoy their work and take pride in producing a high quality result. Robert stopped by a few times during the process and checked on things and asked if I had any questions. When it came time to select our plants Robert met us at the nursery and explained all the different options with a wealth of knowledge about the pro's and con's of numerous options. The end result was excellent and we where very pleased with Amazing Scapes and would highly recommend them.

I contacted Amazing Scapes after finding them on Angie's List and it has been a fantastic experience from the first call. The owner of the company, Robert, took my call and accommodated my schedule for our free estimate. He was on time, had lots of ideas, and didn't sugar coat the depth of the overhaul we needed after getting snookered almost 10 years ago by another outfit. He took into account our lifestyle, our dogs, my black thumbs in the garden, and our budget. We discussed the mood we wanted our backyard to evoke as much as the practicalities of drip irrigation. We set a start date- that I had to change due to a family emergency- but he rescheduled us without pause. The crew was always on time, respectful of our comings and goings, considerate to the neighborhood, and cleaned up completely. The quality of the work. the speed of the removal, and installation were terrific! Robert or his foreman was here everyday- usually both of them- and we communicated regularly. Robert always answered his phone or returned my calls directly. The work we got was completely custom and unique to our tastes and needs. From meeting at the nursery to pick out the cactus with the most character for the front- to a final walk-through with every emitter tested and every pot detailed- the experience was top-notch. As low stress as a yard overhaul can be! THE BEST PART: it looks beautiful!!! The colors of the gravel and pots, the placement of the plants and trees, the hand finished borders and custom lighting, the play turf installation to the boulders- the place is literally transformed. Gorgeous results done with professionalism by a great local company!!!

Robert's crew was terrific! They tore out the old flagstone patio and put in a large area of new pavers. Built a bar/grill combination and a fire pit. Added stucco/wrought iron fencing around the perimeter, and created some new river bed for drainage. They cleaned out a terraced area and added new elevations, plants and a lot of new gravel. Also added an irrigation system and accent lighting to complete the look. We changed our minds on a couple of things during the project and Robert was very flexible with this and his crew had a great attitude from start to finish. They started the job on the exact day they were supposed to and worked very hard and did some extra detail work as needed. Robert communicated with us on a regular basis and was very patient with all our questions and requests. We were extremely happy with the finished backyard and would HIGHLY recommend Amazing Scapes.

Trace arrived on-time and provided a quick-turn quote. After carefull consideration of the competition, I went with Amazing Scapes even though their pricing was higher for the synthetic lawn product. Trace came over a second time to review the project, confirm his measurements and to schedule the install. Trace and his crew arrived early 4/22 and worked very hard over the next several days to completely remove all of the old grass, prepare the surface and install the synthetic lawn. The new lawn is amazing! It looks comepletly natural. It is soft and the dogs love playing on it and they don't pee or poop on it because it is not an organic surface, (I guess). We had rain over the weekend and it drains just fine. My backyard looks like it belongs on the cover of Sunset magazine! Thank you Amazing Scapes, you truly did an amazing job! All of my friends now want to get quotes for their projects.

Selected Amazing Scapes through Angies List and had the owner Robert provide an estimate for the planned job. Contacted Robert via phone and got through on the first attempt even though he was in Mexico on vacation. When he returned, he walked the property and a week later provided an estimate ($63,000). I obtained another quote for some of the paving work and fireplace in the back yard. Roberts quote was lower for the paver work and about the same for the fireplace. I ended up selecting Amazing Scapes as they would do all the work while the other company did not want to tackle the mature plant removals, one of which ended up taking more than two days for Roberts crew to remove. Work begin early November as scheduled with completion anticipated end of December provided weather cooperated. Roberts crew (4) arrived as scheduled on day 1 and began the plant removal followed closely by removal of the asphalt driveway. The crew (managed by Ivan) were very professional, eager to please, worked exceeding hard from the first day to the last. At the end of every day, they cleaned up the job site including blowing off completed pavers and patios and put away all tools and equipment in their trailer. In order to complete the work as originally planned Ivan and crew worked many weekends. Unfortunately, while all hardscaping was completed by early January, planting was delayed until March due to cold weather. Once the weather warmed up, we selected plants with Robert and they were installed in one week along with the drip system and lighting. During the course of the work, we modified the design to include a planter, changed the material for the fireplace, had a brick boarder removed and replaced with pavers matching the patio, added additional trees and lights and had some of our block wall repaired resulting in an $11,000 change bringing the total to $74,000. Each change was separately quoted by Robert and each was reasonable and justifiable. Robert kept us informed of Ivan's schedule including weekend work which they always asked before they scheduled. My wife and I are very happy with the work, enjoyed Ivan and his team, and are looking forward to the plants growing. We have a few more projects that we will be sure to contract with Amazing Scapes.

This company is wonderful. Robert contacted us right away and came of to our home to give us some suggestions and price for our backyard. The price was reasonable and it looks beautiful. We we supposed to have the work started on March 3rd but my wife's sister and husband were coming in to visit that week and we wanted the yard in early. Robert and his crew were able to begin work the week before our scheduled install and were finished the day after our guests arrived. We were all able to enjoy our new patio (and we were very proud of it also!) Amazing Scapes also gave us a 5% Angies list discount!

Came and measured but because of irregular shape we had to order more material than absolutely needed. They said we could order less but it would have meant more seams in the turf to piece it in. The one seam they did have to make is essentially invisible so we probably could have ordered less material. Install done in one day. Unnoticed damage to underground PVC water line noticed by me a few days later. One call and they were right here to repair.

We had hired someone who was not licensed or bonded to extend our patio with brick pavers, but the person was unable to finish the job. We found Amazing Scapes through Angie's List. Robert's crew did an excellent job of removing the pavers, fixing the paver base and drainage issues and re-installing the pavers. Robert and his crew were punctual, courteous, professional, and the job was completed within the time promised. Especially important to us, too, were their suggestions and recommendations that enhanced the design and layout of the pavers for a smooth clean look. The extension looks great and we are very pleased with the results. We will be using their services again for additional projects.

We initially thought was going to be a fairly easy DIY job! Unfortunately we ran into problems we didn't anticipate, having to do with major issues with drainage in our yard, as well as potential for structural damage to one of our outside walls if we tried to remove an existing cement pad outside a sliding glass doorway. We had two other landscapers out who could not come up with satisfactory solutions to these issues. Both suggested we leave the existing pad in place, and begin the new patio just beyond it. To us that could create a bit of an unmatched patchwork right outside our patio door...not the look we were going for! Robert was able to steer us toward a product that comes in 2 different heights, allowing us the "thinner" pavers over the existing pad, then continue the rest of the construction with matching full sized pavers, resulting in a seamless look. Since the sill of the doorstep is just about level with the ground outside, we were worried about directing rain fall away from the house/back sliding door. We were quite impressed with the care and patience taken by Robert's crew with grading the foundation away from our house, without making it look sloped. They also installed pipes in the foundation to help carry excess water that seeps between the paver bricks. In addition, they created a small river bed beyond the end of the patio, to catch the run off, and direct it to a far end of our yard. This created a nice extra design feature, which also has a practical application. We are now very happy, and excited to have useable space in our back yard! The outcome was more than we had hoped for. Robert's crew was prompt, professional, and was good about letting us know what was going on, and making sure every step met with our approval. The entire job took only 4 days. Initially we thought this was a lot of money to spend on a patio, but after checking online for local price averages, and seeing the care that was taken on the project, we decided that it was a fair price, and money well spent.

It went very well. They started on time and the provider worked in another small walkway and wall height adjustments at our last minute request. Owner is professional. Workers are friendly, hard-working and do excellent quality work. They communicated well with us throughout the project.

All work was performed in a professional manner and we were completely satisfied with the results. In addition, some additional work which was not in the original bid was performed in order to improve the appearance of the landscaping. The work was performed quickly and within budget. In addition, the work was inspected frequently by the company owner to make sure that the projects were going well. When the projects were complete, several neighbors indicated that the completed project was very attractive and well done.

I highly recommend Robert and his crew. Robert is very professional and punctual....two traits you don't find very often these days. I appreciated all of his input when I described what I wanted to do. His crew was also very professional and hard working. Everything was spotless when the work was completed and I love my new patio. I'm having Robert back in the spring for another project.

They did an absolutely fantastic job!! Trace and his helper came in, cleared all the area for the turf (fake grass) , removed and placed the gravel in other parts of the yard, smoothed out the dirt with a roller and put down a weed deterrent. They were there most of the day and it was worth every penny of what we paid!! Then around the turf they laid pavers to give it a really pretty edge. The owner Robert called the next day to see if we were happy and if we had any concerns. Plus the advantage of using ANGIES LIST we got a five percent discount...not to shabby! Don't hesitate to use them and we are glad we found them on ANGIES LIST... and already have other contractors lined up!!

The work was amazing! On time everyday, cleaned up, great crew. Can't say enough about how happy we are!

I first found Amazing Scapes on Angie's List last year. I sought out bids from about 6 companies for some extensive landscaping that I had wanted to have done. Unfortunately, the total package for everything was much more than I anticipated, so I broke the project apart, did some stuff myself, etc. However, in that first proposal process, Robert was the only guy that prepared the proposal EXACTLY as I asked. Every company was in the same ballpark with price (and I honestly can not remember where Robert fell in line), but I figured if everyone else was too lazy or inept to get even the proposal right, I'd just as soon work with the guy that paid attention to details from the beginning. When the time finally came to install artificial turf in the yard, I just went back to Robert. I made a few changes to his quote from last year - upgraded the turf, etc - but the price was close enough to the original (which was in the ballpark with everyone else that I checked) that I just went with him. The guy really goes the extra mile to earn a good recommendation. Even though he told me that he was booked for months, the job was small enough that he had a few of his guys squeeze me in on a weekend, and the job was wrapped up 2 weeks later. The turf looks great. His team is professional and courteous. When I picked up a couch that my wife had ordered, a few of his team jumped in to help me get it moved into the house without even having to ask them. After the job was done, he came out to take a look at the finished project himself and answered all of my questions. And when I mentioned that I was moving on with the next phase of the project (something I was not using him for), he even offered me advice on that. The guy is a class act. I'm sure that by searching around some more, I could have found someone to do the same job a couple of hundred dollars cheaper, but I'd rather work with someone that I trust to do a quality job and pay attention to the details.

The paver work was excellent. The plants chosen or recommended (we were new to the desert) were mediocre. The drip system kept failing by leaking. They responded several times and were paid for their response and then said they were "too busy" . We had to hire someone else. My neighbor also had a bad experience with them. Caveat Emptor!

These guys worked very hard and tried to do a good job, and at first they seemed to know what they were doing. It became more and more apparent that this crew was inexperienced at laying sod and also irrigation systems. They also made errors on the putting green installation. I suspect that they have learned more as they have progressed and are doing a better job now.

A fantastic job was done. Robert scheduled me for June 17. He and his crew(led by Ivan) were on time. The crew went right to work. The work was completed on schedule. Ivan asked for our input on the design of the pavers and made the changes in the design as we wanted as he went along. Every step was coordinated with us. This is a hard working crew. The yard was cleaned up actually better then when they started. I would highly recommend Amazing Scapes LLC for any work that they offer. Again an outstanding job by a great company.

Robert was amazing to work with from the onset. We met with him multiple times while our home was under construction and he provided us with plenty of examples of his previous work and made some excellent design suggestions based on our yard layout and what we were hoping to incorporate. Robert had his crew ready to go when we closed on our home and they began the installation immediately. The crew was professional and courteous and always cleaned up after themselves at the end of the work day. Robert even set up time to meet with me personally at the nursery to assist in picking out all the plants. The job came out absolutely amazing. Seeing his previous recommendations and work examples I wasn't surprised. I would highly recommend Robert to anyone. Thanks to Robert and the whole crew!

They did a very good job. They were on time and very easy to talk to and deal with.

Extraordinary work. The workers showed up the first day at 6:00, worked until 5:00. They are neat and polite. They returned the second day to finish installing pavers with the masons doing flawless and very artistic work that flowed with the contours of our back and side yards. They cleaned up everything every day. They were finished by 10 AM on the third day. This is in about 1/2 the time we would have expected for such an extensive amount of work. If anything worries you. talk to Robert and it will be corrected or explained within hours. How nice to have such good work at such a reasonable price

I originally wanted Robert (the owner) to come and give me an estimate of how much it would cost to completely go over the backyard with flagstone. After a long discussion and thoughts about functionality versus desires, we decided to go with the pavers instead of flagstone. Robert and his staff started on March 4th and were done by March 12th (well before the estimated timeframe of three weeks). Not only did the crew level off the yard, they installed a drainage system (PVC pipe under the pavers) to allow flow of water out to the street. Even before we actually decided to go with the project, Robert would call and just discuss possibilities but not pushy at all. He brought over samples and let us look at them in different areas of the yard to get a good feel for the color. I must say though we spent close to 10K on the yard, I am highly satisfied with the work done.

We liked Robert right away when he came for the estimate. He was so very good at helping us iron out what we were wanting for our front yard. He was able to give us an estimate at that time with a couple different options to play with. Once we decided, we scheduled the date and they started on time. They did a stucco courtyard wall that wrapped around the front of our house and porch with a slump block cap....matches the house perfectly. We also widened the driveway on either side with 2.5 feet of pavers....beautiful border. We will definately use them again! Check out their work on facebook.
