Vladimir was prompt, polite, and very professional. I will throw his name out to absolutely anyone in need of appliance repairs. He had everything in his vehicle that was needed and went right to work. Payment was quick and easy. I appreciate his quick response to this fixit call. I set up service for our GE Adora dishwasher that would not fill up with water. Initial contact was fine and appointment was set up for a Wednesday following initial contact on Saturday. On this contact I gave my dishwasher model/serial number to them. When the repairman arrived he was very polite and personable, but did not know any more about our dishwasher than I had found out from google. He tried to locate technical manuals on his phone to no avail and after about an hour said he would have to order parts and swap them out to see what fixed the problem. I was told it was either an inlet valve (I already replaced this), a float switch, or a circuit board. After a few days I was told they were still having problems locating the part number for the circuit board and hadn't ordered any parts yet. This was a Saturday so best case was they got the part number on Monday and 3-5 days for the parts to arrive. So basically I was looking at some time the following week for them to come and swap things out. I asked what if that didn't fix the problem. There really wasn't a plan B and I wasn't feeling confident at the prospect of waiting for a maybe. I told the technician and then the owner that I was not satisfied and would not be having them finish the work. The package I purchased off Angie's List was $70 for an appliance diagnosis that included up to 2 service calls. I ask for and received a $35 refund since they did come out once, but failed to complete the diagnosis. As a side note, almost all communication was via text message. I'm not a huge fan of this, however it didn't seem to detract from the communications any more than leaving a voicemail and waiting for a response. In the end I called GE and they plugged a diagnostic tool into the dishwasher and had the problem in about 60 seconds. They had the part in a couple days and actually fixed it all at no charge. Next time I will just call them first. I think with an older model appliance Phoenix Appliance Services would have been fine, but with a newer unit with lots of tech just go with the official repair service.

My side by side refrigerator/freezer stopped working the Friday before Memorial Day. Based on all the excellent reviews, I called Vladimir that night and left a message. He called me back the next morning and said he would be able to make it out early the following day, which he did , on the holiday! In less than an hour, he determined that the temperature control needed to be replaced and had the frig up and running. The price was very reasonable, especially considering he came out on a holiday. He also gave me a tip on how to clean hard water deposits on my under-performing dishwasher. I will definitely call him again if any of my appliances go out. Thanks Vladimir!

He was not only kind but worked with me to pay over the phone. This has been the best experience I've had with any repair. He confirmed it was the thermostat.

When I called them to tell them the issue I was having and their response was that they do not do that and I would need to get a house cleaner.

I had texted the name, model & serial number of the washing machine along with details of what the machine was doing (& not doing). When the repairman (Alec) showed up he had the part necessary to repair & have the machine running in about 45 minutes. Alec was punctual, neat, friendly & professional.

Vladamir spent 15 minutes on the phone with me diagnosing the problem so that we wouldn't waste the money on a diagnostic visit if the machine couldn't be repaired. He determined that the costs would be significant so we decided to not go ahead with the service call. He was very thorough and concerned about keeping us happy rather than just making some money off of us. I would definetly use him in the future for other appliance repairs.

He came out and told us we should just let it go for the money we’d spend, as it’s an old washer and the transmission was dying. He was here on time (in fact, he was free earlier but we weren't free then.) Really nice guy.

I heard from the company immediately after ordering the $70.00 special. The owner came within 30 minutes of us speaking on the phone. Once he was here and asked if I had any questions regarding any other appliances. He was professional, courteous, honest, and knowledgable. i would certainly call them again!

I called Phoenix Appliance Repair outside of normal business hours on a Saturday night. I planned to just leave a message and hear back on Monday, but to my surprise, the owner called back right away. While he offered to schedule a service call the coming week, he suggested instead a couple of things I could try first to resolve my issue. He spent probably 15 minutes on the phone with me walking me through the steps and giving me pointers on how to prevent my issues in the future. This definitely saved me the cost of a service call. It is great to find a provider that puts the interests of his customers first and goes out of his way to take care of you, even if that means revenue out of his pocket. I will definitely be using this company again!

After being given a 2 week repair time frame from our warranty company I panicked because with a family of 4 and two babies I would have not survived. Vladimir came out same day and saved the day fixing the dryer immediately and providing a solution for getting us through to the next step. We will see how much our warranty company wants to charge. Otherwise we will use him to repair the busted motor. Great & saved the day.

On Sunday, 2/9, discovered that our refrigerator was not working. Found Smith's Appliance Repair through Angie's List. Vlad said he would be at our home first thing Monday morning - and he was. My wife described him as a "perfect gentlemen" and very competent. He had the problem identified and corrected in less than an hour. Wow, what a relief, really thought we might be looking at a major expense. Thanks You Vlad!!!
