The service was ok. I thought, however, the price was high. They made the repair in about 15 minutes and charged me $350, which included the replacement of the valve.

I think Parker and Son should have a rate schedule that they can quote over the phone to give the consumer some idea of the cost before they come out.

I applied for a service time on line and did not hear back from them so called the next day. They said they had not gotten notice...ooops! first error. They did send someone out that evening and he did replace the blower motor. It worked....too well...Would not shut off. Called at 11pm and they would have come outbut I had to get up at 5am!!!. He came out the next morning and fixed it. It was a bit noisy but thought it would improve....ooops, second. Suncay evening it started to get very loud. Knocking. I called and said it wasn't quite right yet. THEN it started screatching!!!!! We turned it off and they cam out to fix it. again...The collar holding the part onto the A/C had broken. He replaced it and it now seems to be working ok. Very irritating and they were very sorry but sorry don't cut it!!!

We really like them, they are really reliable. There was a time we came back from vacation and our hot water heater wasn't working. We thought the hot water heater had gone, but the employee came out and said that some calcium built up on the thermostat thing and all we had to do was run it and it would be fine. He didn't even charge me for that trip, he said it was no problem. They don't try to over sell you. We've also had problems with faucets and apparently our faucets have lifetime guarantees. He said he would fix it for us or we could just call the company and they'll send the new one and we can fix it ourselves for free. There aren't a lot of companies that will do that but they do. I think the price is fair.

Water heater broke - Replaced with a new one.

We've used them over and over. I know them for years now. They do yearly checkup for us. They are very good and right on time. They come when they say they're going to come. They are very polite and very clean.

It went well. An A/C unit that has been serviced on multiple previous occasions, and was beyond its life expectancy stopped cooling. Their technician showed me the broken parts and oil leak to confirm the problems, and told me that it could be repaired, but that it would cost around $4000 and the warranty would be for one year. An entirely new unit would start at $6000, and would have a considerably longer warranty. The work was done a few days later. The team arrived exactly on time. They were courteous and professional throughout the job. They checked in with me periodically to give me updates on their progress. After the work was complete, they took time to review everything with me and offered to demonstrate the operation of the new unit. They cleaned up every scrap of mess from the project, and I can't tell they were ever there. The new unit seems to be working well, although the days are still cool and it hasn't been used much yet.

Very prompt, courteous, always on time. They were supposed to replace the rotating vent but they didnt measure it right and had to come back out to do that.

We have been using these guys for over 30 years and will never stray. You definitely get what you pay for with these guys. May not always have the best price but always do the best work.

Bathroom drain (sink and bathtub/shower) was clogged in the master bathroom. Could not clear it, so looked in the phone book and called several plumbing companies. A plumber from Parker and Sons was able to come out fairly quickly, much appreciated. He was pleasant to begin with. I told him the best way to clear the drain. I have cleared it myself a number of times, but did not have a snake this time to do the job myself. The plumber spent about 15 minutes trying to get the snake through a 90 degree turn in the pipe (which goes to the sewer). After the 15 minutes, he said "I can't clear this f***ing thing" and gave up. Wrote up an invoice for $145.41. I paid it, not wanting to get in a confrontation in my home (only me here) with a profane plumber. I see those Parker and Sons ads on the television frequently, touting their great service, low prices, and satisfied customers. I know the truth and will never use their services again. BEWARE!

They were very prompt in coming out on a Saturday for our kitchen water leak problem. The problem turned out to be a long term leak from our refridgerator ice maker water line. (Word of advise: get rid of your 1/4-inch copper tubing and use flexible stainless steel tubing!!!). Parker & Sons in turn recommended an independent underground leak detection service to check for and rule out anything going on underground, which turned out there was none thank goodness. Overall very satisfied with their services. I guess the price was commensurate with the emergency weekend timeframe.

He did the work but charged us almost double the phone quote!

It was a nice experience. They took care of everything and it works fine. They were courteous and through. They wear those little things on their shoes so that they keep the house clean when they come into the house. They were prompt and did the job. The price was fair. I would use them again in the future.

I called several companies on the Angie’s List site. I believe 2 of the 3 weren’t even able to conduct estimates within a 2-3 week period within which we needed the systems. It obviously didn’t bode well. I believe both of them were very high as far as overall quality and responsiveness all that, but they certainly didn’t meet our needs. With Parker and Sons, it went very well. They were very professional. They went above and beyond from the original quote and estimate that we got. They took longer than they originally anticipated. However, it seemed very reasonable given some of the challenges of the space. The price was definitely very near the quotes that we got. They were right here on time. They seemed pretty with it.

They are timely, responsive and mostly professional. Did have a leak that the tech had to come back for on the water softner and they were very high on their prices, but the work is good.

We had occasional problems with our home water pressure, and called Parker and Sons to investigate. After a check of all our water systems, we discovered that we needed a new water softener. The salesperson came to our home and thoroughly explained the choice of systems. It was installed promptly. We did have a few initial problems with the digital read-out and a leaking tube, but they were fixed promptly at no charge.

Everything went very well. Parker Brothers went out of their way to completely satisfy my air distribution problems.

Their price was on the very high side. They charged $500 for the regulator. They wanted more. We talked them down. It was just soldering some piece together. They charged $250 for a filter change of the water softener in the kitchen. They charged $4500, which is worth a new water softener. Their employees seem to be happy working for their company. Overall, the job went okay. They did okay except they had an accident with the spraying of the chemicals from the old water softener. They sprayed one of my plants outside which was about 5 feet high and about 6 feet in diameter and killed it. We told them, and we very pleasant about it. We just needed it to be replaced. They just never admitted it that they did it, but they were willing to try to do something about it. They came out and just started they wouldn?t be able to personally to take it out with shovel they had. We just told them that we will hire someone to take it out, and we will get a small plant and nurture it back in 6 or 7 years. The next year when they come to change the filters it would be approximately $140 or $150, and they would take that and replace doing the plant work. Other than that, we have not had it for very long; only may be a month and a half or two. I wouldn?t really recommend them. They are too high. When we saw the incident, they called my husband a liar. My husband is trying to feed in some information because they called him a liar. I don?t like all that. Actually when I had to call them, I had to keep calling them and I had to wait a week. Finally, I could get this one professional that was a salesman on the product and he was the only one that really helped us get things done. They were here pretty much on time. We were talking about having air conditioners. Even though they may be better in that, I just don?t feel that they would get up to what I would want from someone.

They were very professional. I now that they were more expensive than other companies I had contacted. I would probably contact them in the future. I don't have any reason not to contact them.

I spent $1200 on that work. They were good to answer the call and come out and do the work. The technician was competent.

I was not happy with them. I spent $650 on that work. I was not thrilled with them. It was a lot of money for them not doing any work. I would never ever call them again. Whatever they advertised online, it seemed deceptive to me like their quality and that they listen to the customer, but they don?t listen.

They showed up right when they said they would and answered all of our questions. They were extremely professional and I was very pleased with their service.

Great! They installed the unit with no proplems and came out promptly if we needed them after that.
