Spoke with Troy B. at COSTCO promoting Parker and Sons. Troy stated that Parker and Sons Inc. was #1 on Angies list among A/C companies, NOT TRUE!, actually a B rating, but decided to give them a try anyway. Service person Andrew arrived on time and answered many questions I had about our zoned unit. He was professional, courteous, and thorough. He gave me some recommendations and I purchased a discounted service contract which offered additional discounts on service and parts. This is a full service company which handles plumbing also. He recommended that I have a water pressure regulator installed and adjust or have serviced the water softener. Overall a good experience. I hope they will brief their promotions people to be honest about their Angie's list rating as I am sure that COSTCO would not like vendors providing untrue or misleading info.

Parker and Sons is the best a/c company I have dealt with. They arrived on time and replaced our a/c, air handler, and furnace promptly. The a/c in our rental house was original and about 25 years old. We had three service companies out and they all said there were different issues, but since it was so old, it should be replaced. We went through Costco and used Parker and Sons and they did an amazing job installing our new Trane a/c. The fee included an inspection from the city and it was permitted. The city called me after it was replaced and set up a time to inspect it. I have never experienced this with an a/c company. I have used another company in the past, but they were not at the same level as Parker and Sons.

Unfortunately when they dug the trench they busted our sprinker line in a number of places which began to flood areas in the front yard. I called them back and told them about the issue and that I expected them to fix those lines. They sent someone out later that day and my husband talked to him and showed him where the leak was and the tech proceded to tell him that they don't have the parts to fix it and they don't do that work. My husband really was a little upset and said he would just fix it himself....which he did. Then on Sunday we discovered another break in the line and he just went ahead and fixed it. I thought the initial work was done well but am really disappointed with the quality of customer service. I have reported it directly to the company and they were sorry for how it was handled but that really doesn't mean it won't happen to someone else. For the cost of the repairs I would have expected more. I then got a call from a supervisor who sent someone else out and they fixed the problem. So they do stand by their work. Learnings: Always ask the plumber technician if they tested all lines including sprinkler lines if they have dug up anything in a yard.

They told my I needed a ground for my air conditioner in case lightening ever struck the house. My air conditioner was already grounded. I think they were trying to take advantage of me to make more money. I think the same thing happened with my water heater. It was not old and they told me I needed a complete new one. They charged me $88 just to come light the pilot light. Before this I would have rated them an A because they were clean and professional in the past.

They have done very well. They are reliable and fair. They are timely. It is a matter of fact we called him just the other day and they are supposed to come out I think tomorrow.

Their service is great! We have been really happy with their service. Whenever we need them, they come out quickly.

Tech shows up to work on a rental home ac blowing hot air. In addition to fixing what is wrong he tries to up-sell me for "coil cleaning" for $230. I said no coil but replace the part. In writing...via text. Guess what he doesn't do anything. Had to have another tech go fix this guys service no call. Parker & Sons wanted $438.00 for the service. The other guy did all the same work for $97.00.

The estimate and installers were professional at all times. We got two other bids and they were not the cheapest nor the most expensive. We chose them as they are long-established in the valley and have a overall strong reputation.

I was very upset to begin with because I had a hot water leak, and the only reason we found out was because my granddaughter was walking barefoot and felt the floor was warm. I put my palms on the floor and felt it was warm, and the other part of the hallway was cool, and then I realized I had a leak. After they fixed the hot water heater, they left a hole in my wall about 36 inches wide. I asked them to do something about it, to at least cover it up, but they said they didn't do that. I then asked them for a recommendation for someone who could fix it for me, but they wouldn't even do that. They just left the mess. Ever since they fixed the plumbing, whenever you take a shower, you can hear the pipes knocking together in the other bathroom. Every time I see a commercial for them on TV, I get angry again. Whenever someone asks for a recommendation for plumbing, I tell them to not go to Parker and Sons.

They determined the drain was under a wall in front of my house. How rediculous is that? When i called to complain that i was charged $350. for a service not performed, they would not return my call. Nor did they feel bad enough to not charge me for a job not done. They tried to tell me the drain was under the wall, stating that the wall must have been added later. The wall is original with the house. (there are several houses in Lakewood just like mine and all have the same wall around the bathroom area). The drain is either between the house and wall or outside the wall. This is why I hired them. The ground is too hard to dig not knowing where it is. Outside the wall has thick ground cover I do not want to disturbe unless i know exactly where to dig. They took the money, but did not perform the service at all. "F"

I called and requested an estimate on replacing my hot water heater, which they provided free of charge. I was familiar with this company because my heating/AC sysytem was purchased from them a few years before and I have a service contract with them for regular maintenance on that system. I decided to go with Parker & Sons because of my previous experience with them and they sell the same brand, AO Smith, that I was replacing. The old one has been in use for at least 14 years, maybe longer. I'm not the original home owner, but the label on the old one was dated 1999. They always call to let you know they are on their way. He was within his 4 hour time window and very courteous. It only took him an hour and a half to do the job. I had found a $50.00 off coupon for replacing water heaters on their website which he gladly accepted.

After a year the toilet broke again as the job was not done correctly. I had to spend a lot of money to get it fixed as they said that the warranty was up on it and they would not help. They are very indifferent and obviously do not care much about their clients. I would think that they would be trained to try to make an unsatisfied customer happy.

I needed 2 cartridges replaced in my showers. I did it myself last time for about $40. Since something went wrong several months later, I called Parker & Sons (they put in my water heater) They did the job for almost $500 for less than 1 hours time. I didn't have time to get quotes because of the holidays so I went ahead. That's my fault. But as a warning to all, Get quotes, get quotes get quotes. Don't count on Parker & Sons to be reasonable. I will not use them again. I will get quotes from several others and choose from among them. They did the job. They did it right (so far). But I think they charged twice what they should have. At $200 an hour, I expected the bill to be around $200. It was more than twice that.

Arrived on time. Introduced self. Completed the inspection of the ductwork and the Heating unit to determine it was operating porperly. Answered questions about how the heat/AC unit worked, as we have just moved to the Phoenix area and the heating and Air system was different from what we were used to.

We have had this Goetell heat pump on our house for 16 years. Our only problem with the unit was that during the winter it would "freeze up" and reverse itself so that it blew cold air into the house until the compressor warmed up. That's the term used by the various technicians I have corresponded with over the years. They indicated it was normal, so we put up with it. Recently the compressor would not turn on. The fan would simply blow cold air into the house. After having my "go to guy" come out an look at it, he could not determine the problem and recommended Parker and Sons. I gave them a call and they were able to send a technician out in two days. When he arrived we went up onto the roof to assess the problem. After looking at a few contacts and the wiring he concluded the unit was wired wrong. I thought he was incorrect because I accompany each technician onto the roof to watch and "learn". No one messed with the wiring. Fortunately the wiring schematic was available and he was able to move a few wires around to get the compressor and the entire unit functioning. To my great pleasure, the unit has not "freezed up", even in the very cold weather we have recently had (21 degrees F the last two mornings). I am extremely pleased with the results. It works the way it should ! I wonder what were the other technicians I had called out (and who looked at the circuit board) were doing. I wonder if they were really qualified. I asked the tech from Parker and Sons and he said something to the effect of: Well, it help to have 20+ years experience at looking at these things. I agree 100%. I will definitely call them in the future with any heating/cooling problems I might have.

They were on time, clean and fixed the problem but should search elsewhere for a more reasonable cost.

They were on time. They finished exactly when they said they would with a large crew. They had the work provided in less than a day. They were very nice people to work with.

Drain pipe was clogged, needed to be replace because of jelling in pipe.

I use to use Parker & Sons for all my rental properties. THen, I got really BURNED by them. I used them for HVAC and Plumbing. They are expensive, but I wanted quality work by a quality company. I have completely changed my mind and no longer use them as a vendor. I had them come out to a property since the A/C stopped working in July. They told me that I needed a new fan motor. I debated on spending money on an older unit, but they said I could get a couple more years out of it. EXACTLY ONE WEEK LATER THE COMPRESSOR MOTOR went out. I was a but suspicious, but kept in mind that it was older. I had another company come and give me a quote. THey said that the way the fan motor was installed, it shorted out the compressor motor. I thought they were just trying to sell me a new system, so I PAID to have a THIRD person come independently review the situation. This was a one man guy who was known for repairing units and keeping them going as opposed to being in the business of selling new systems (recommended by a friend). He said that he saw a short and that the way the guy ran the wiring, that is what caused the compressor motor to short out. He took photos and wrote up a report. I ended up buying a new system from another company. They contacted Parker & Sons and got no response. Parker and Sons said they would put the $750 towards a new unit. But the price WAS STILL HIGHER THAN EVERYONE ELSE! They REFUSED to take responsibility for anything. Parker and Sons doesn't seem to emphatic with their customers. I honestly felt like $750 was nothing to them, but yet was a lot of money to me! They lost ALL my business. Ironically, I had spent a lot more earlier in the year on plumbing and that didn't seem to matter either. I work in business and we rely on word of mouth and REPEAT customers. HAPPY customers COME BACK......

They are always great. They are very neat and their customer service is great. I have used them now for 8 years for my tune ups. They are the only ones I will call.

They have been great. I have been using them for about 8 years now. They always do everything they say they will. Their customer service is unbelievable! I have been very pleased.
