"Thank you for the information and allowing Customer Relations the opportunity to review your claim firsthand and respond. Please be assured we have always acted in good faith in our efforts to serve you and within the parameters of the OneGuard agreement. Please know we sincerely regret your dissatisfaction with the outcome of the claim that was not covered by OneGuard due to the pre-existing breakdown with the HVAC system. According to the terms of the warranty agreement, OneGuard requires that all covered items are in good working condition upon its effective date. Based on the professional diagnosis provided by our licensed contractor that assessed your system, a leak was present in the evaporator coil and the unit was low on Freon. The technician advised the leak was in existence longer than a month, which is longer than the warranty has been in effect. We hope that our previous efforts to directly explain why the claim was not approved were helpful. Much to my surprise, the compressor will be purchased and installed without charge to me. Â I can't express my gratitude for One Guard Home Warranty. Â They have always gone out of their way to service my home. Â The are prompt, courteous and employ outstanding contractors.
I have had other home warranty companies and there are non that come close to One Guard for service.
I recommend them to all and strongly suggest anyone with a home, purchase the service.

Some of our competitors are cheap by denying as many claims as possible, using the lowest priced contractors, and employing fewer customer service representatives. This means their customers have greater hassle when submitting claims, deal with the headache of band-aid repairs, and find themselves on hold for excessive amounts of time. On the other hand, OneGuard covers more and has the fewest limitations - as a result, we approve over 95% of claims.
