Rodolfo responded within the time frame to set up a date and time to do the work. He was punctual, professional and started immediately. He probably does well with other handyman jobs but unfortunately, I don't think he's ever mounted a mantel on a brick fireplace before. He didn't bring the proper masonry bolts (too small) and had to go to Home Depot to get bigger ones with anchors. He drilled the holes in the mortar horizontally instead of vertically (which I suggested) to support the bolts which ended up with a bolt being wobbly. He drilled 2 more holes in the mantel trying to get things right. In the end the mantel looks OK but noticed after he left that with all the moving around, my mantel is now about an inch off center. A job that should have taken an hour ended up taking 3 hours. One thing I do need to say is that he didn't charge me for the extra hour the deal stated, which I appreciated in the end.

Rodolfo and his team did a great job and we were very pleased with the work. He paid close attention to all the details, was competitively priced, and very honest. The crew he has working with him shares his level of professionalism and they worked hard to meet our tight deadline. I would definitely hire him again in the future as well as recommend to friends.

No response from the vendor. After a few days, Angie sends me an email asking if the vendor has contacted me. I use Google to find the vendor's web page. I click http://www.nextlevelremodel.com and see it has expired. I call their phone number, 602-469-5673, at 1:30pm on a Thursday. Nobody answers. I hear an automated message saying their voice mail is full, and it hangs up. I send an email to Angie, and get a response in 5 minutes. (WOW!) I am asked to fill out this form so I can get my refund. Thank you, Angie.

Rodolfo and his crew were extremely professional in all the contact we had with them. There was never a day over the length of the job where he or his crew showed up late, they were always early, The finish on the stucco was great, and no cracking has been observed. He has followed up with us about the stucco, to make sure it was curing right and not cracking. His level of professionalism was above and beyond our expectations.

We have a house in Chandler, AZ which we wanted to do some renovation in it before selling it. I met Rodolfo at the house and explained to him what we want to get done. He gave me an estimate on the same day and that was the real and final cost of the job.. He gave me the time that they can finish the work and they finished even before the given date. They also did a great job. The house looked very nice and definitely added to the value of the house. Rodolfo was very responsive and responded my texts or phone calls very fast. In summary, I was very happy with what he did for us and if we need any help with house projects, remodeling,...he will the first one that we would contact.

called contractor for estimate on home exterior siding replacement. we set up an appointment for after 1600/24. Rodolfo called at approx. 1515 said he would not be able to make this time as he had family vehicle problems, I readjustedto before 1730 same day . gentleman showed up before 1730 and a showed him what I needed estimate for. we walked the areas ro be replaced. waited until july 1st no further calls from contractor. I tried calling him today no answer from phone call . I consider this deal closed.

Rodolfo has many skills. He contacted me immediately and came by to give an estimate that i think was too low. He was late on service date but called to explain he had forgotten something he had to go back for. Very courteous. For the length of time he spent on the job and after paying for materials, he didn't make much. He replaced the main shelf and clothing bar in a walk-in closet that came crashing down after 20 years of stress on it. Rodolfo is very tidy when he works and cleans up nicely. Job was in a closet with clothing still in other half (draped with plastic). He kept the saw dust and drywall mess to a minimum. He painted and then waited an hour for it to dry so he could install hardware over fresh paint. Methodical. Pleasant. Skilled. Will hire again.

He was fantastic. I had to open up the stucco to get to the pipes between the kitchen and exterior. I spoke with 3 people about the job, and my gut told me to go with him, and I was so glad I did. He came when he was supposed to, and did an excellent job for me. He opened up the wall and got the job done. He repaired the wall and applied the stucco, and came back twice after, once to recoat the stucco, and once to paint it. His work was excellent, he was very professional, punctual, and reasonable.

Contractor failed to get back to me with an estimate. If a job is too small, big, or whatever, that's okay. Simply say so and I can find someone else. It's unprofessional to just not respond to calls.

Rodolfo Mendez was great!! He came to the house saw the work needed and sent me a detailed estimate as to what would be done and how much. He did what he said he would do and even painted the whole fence. I would recommend Nest Level Remodeling to anyone who needed any type of remodeling

We contacted Rodolfo and he quickly set up a date to come over to our small Condo and do the repairs. We had an outside water connection that was leaking. I went down to Ace to purchase the new faucet handle and he had all of the equipment to install it that day. We had a outdoor light put up, with a light sensor, for security purposes. He also help get the Arcadia door to slide smoother. Some time we will have to replace the rollers. He was very thoughtful and patient with all of our questions. He picked up all of the old and not wanted materials left over and cleaned up, so we could not tell that anyone had been there working. He was prompt and always returned our calls quickly. We will use his services again. A very pleasant experience.

Rodolfo was on time and took care of the problem we had in a timely and professional manner. I was very pleased with what he did and asked him to do another item of concern which he did at no charge. I will call him when I need something else done around the house.

Repair man for the kitchen tiles did a great job. We're very happy with that. The paint job was sloppy. We had it repainted properly and well. Never going to use them again.

I called on Friday 10/11 and believe I spoke to the owner. He was difficult to understand because of the quality of his cell phone signal. I explained the jobs I had and asked if he would provide an estimate. He said he could come to my house on Monday or Tuesday to quote out the job. I told him I'd be available any time on either day. He verified my address and contact details. On Monday, the contractor was a no show and no call On Tuesday, the same thing - no show, no call Apparently I fell completely off his radar or business is so good for him, he doesn't need my job. I had selected this contractor based on the services they provide and Angie's List reviews. However, I did notice at least one other review where this contractor failed to meet a commitment.

I have used Rodolfo on 3 different occasions and Rodolfo showed up when expected each time. On the first occasion, I called for a plumbing issue in my kitchen. He was able to swing by on his way home and take care of my issue. I had also been trying to get quotes from other companies for my ceiling re-texturing project and my bathroom remodeling projects and was not having any luck getting some companies to even give me a quote. After talking with Rodolfo and finding out that he was capable of doing the projects I needed done, he gave me a quote and I hired him on the spot. He and his crew showed up when expected and completed my ceiling re-texturing job a day earlier than projected.....AND they did a fantastic job of cleaning up afterwards! Because I was so pleased with his work and reliability, I gave him the opportunity to do my two bathroom remodeling projects. The hall bath involved removing the tub and plumbing. They installed the new tub and all of the hardie-backer board that we needed in order for us to do our own tiling. They also raised the shower so that my tall boys wouldn't bump their heads. I had forgotten to ask them to install a niche for shampoo bottles and when I came to look at the finished project, they had put it in for me after-the fact. For the master bathroom, the project was a little more involved. The plan was to remove the garden tub and replace it with a tile-ready shower and bench. I also needed a pony wall w/ niche to separate my bathroom counter from the shower. This whole project required that the drain be relocated and the shower equipped with a special drain and flooring that I could tile over. I was very specific about what I wanted and Rodolfo delivered exactly what I asked for. I do not speak Spanish and Rodolfo was only a little difficult for me to understand He is very knowledgeable, reliable and fair. If you take the time and ask questions as you would with anything, you will have no trouble getting what you expect. He is also very friendly and helpful.....we had an entire home remodeling project going on at the time Rodolfo worked for us. On more than one occasion, he was able to give us helpful suggestions about how to accomplish certain tasks, do something easier, or buy something better that we hadn't considered (as we are only semi-handy). In the end, the whole house project turned out beautifully....especially the tile bathrooms and we have Next Level Remodeling to thank for providing us with a good foundation for our tile. I have recommended Rodolfo to several of my friends already and also highly recommend him here on Angie's List for your remodeling needs.

AWESOME - they had it done within a matter of days and the ceilings look 100% better! You could not ask for better - got the estimate right away, work done on time, job looked great, no mess left behind, price was exactly as promised (no surprises!). I would definitely use them again!

The finished product looked good. They did exactly as we talked about. Was helpful in determining final paint colors. I would recommend and use them again when needed.

The key to a successful remodeling project is finding a great contractor! Mr. Mendez fits the bill. He put up with my incessant questions and checkoff lists, and responded promptly to every request. Having experienced a less than quality contractor on a previous remodeling job, I was determined to find a good one this time. An example of Mr. Mendez's attention to detail is that, when ill, he got down on his hands and knees to try 3 different products to conceal a scratch in my bamboo floors that was made by one of the other vendors!! Also, his brother, noting that the dust from the tiling was bothering my allergies, did the cut for the oversized medicine cabinets with a hand saw to keep the dust down. The work was completed promptly, with the exception of the cookbook shelf in the kitchen. I contracted independently with the man who did the custom cabinetry, and although he has been paid he hasn't installed the shelf. Mr. Mendez has offered to follow-up for me.The only real problems with the job was with the custom cabinetry person, who persisted in coming to the house after 5pm, even though Mr. Mendez and I told him that there was a 5 pm cutoff. Mr. Mendez stayed within budget, in fact, he actually came in below the proposal. The overage from the quoted price of $8500 was due to me asking him to complete additional tasks (put the old kitchen cabinets in the laundry room and paint the laundry room). The project had to be stopped, due to me having emergency surgery, before the second part of the project was started which included enclosing my back patio. Mr. Mendez knows that I definitely want him to complete this project! With materials, subcontractors from Angie's A List, and utilizing the Deals the total cost of the kitchen, master bedroom, and master bathroom remodel was $26,526.43, which was $1,526.43 over budget due to my added projects. If you're looking for a contractor with attention to detail, quality workmanship, and a crew that is respectful and cleans up their messes then the man to call is Mr. Mendez at NextLevel.

I called for an estimate and was greeted by a gentleman that stated he could do the work. I was looking for a wall to be built to enclose a room in our new house. We set-up an appointment for the next day so he could take a look; the contractor stated he would be in the Surprise areas and would stop by. I took off work and waited for a no show and a no call back. I did not bother to call back... to many others companies willing to get paid for services. Very disappointed with the professionalism of this company.

We were very pleased with the work they did. Rodolfo was conscientious in addressing any issues and dedicated to doing a quality job. He was helpful throughout the entire process.

Owner, Mr. Mendez has successfully completed little jobs to BIG jobs. This contractor is awful, irresponsible and obsessive liar. Rodolfo told me that he is Civil Engineer from Mexico. He and his brother worked for T.W Lewis but got fired. I obviously overlooked the fact that they got fired from their previous job. It was nightmare dealing with both brothers. I had to hire qualified contractors to fix their mistakes because I didn?t want to deal with unprofessional, unethical contractor Rodolfo & his brother. Rodolfo is not licensed plumber nor an electrician so I had issues with both his plumbing & electrical work. He might manage small handyman tasks but he is not capable of remodeling projects in an upscale neighborhood. I learned lot of lessons as this was my first major remodeling project. He did not rent dumpster or portable toilet. His contract (estimate) was a joke. I had a strict deadline to finish the project and move-into my home by Jan 2013. I trusted all his lies and thought he is an experienced professional contractor. At one point during my project I wanted to report Rodolfo to AZ registrar of contractors and police. Again I learned valuable lessons with my nightmare project

Contractor returned call promptly and set appointment. On the day of appointment there was a delay in arrival without a phone call to inform. I contacted him. AFter arrival he looked at area of work to be performed, took measurements, discussed what I wanted to have done and informed of permits needed. At the end of the appointment the contractor stated that he would not be able to have a crew that would want to work during the holiday season, (appt was in late November), but he would work up a bid and email it to me for a future start date. This is the first week of February and there has been no communication. Email or otherwise.

Horrible. You get what you pay for. They came out to the condo I was selling to install handles and pulls on the kitchen cabinetry on a very small kitchen. Purchased four hours of services, so two men came out for two hours, which is fine. But I got a call from him complaining that there wasn't enough time to complete the job and he left. I was baffled as this was a very small kitchen. I went over to the condo and saw their work. The handles were put on crooked and were not level. My husband completed the job, and his installation was much better.

Arrived on time. Was very friendly and helpful. Installed 3 curtain rods to my satisfaction.
