Eddie was helpful and very professional. He provided good faith estimate but rate was little higher than competitor so I decided not to refinance with him. I will consider Eddie and his team for future mortgage needs.

The entire process was seamless from application to the closing package being emailed to the title company. The day after we moved into our new home, I received a welcome call from Eddie. Customer Service is key in this industry and we received the BEST! I would definitely use them again and will recommend Eddie and staff to my neighbors.

My sister and I were trying to apply for a Mortgage. Even though our credit scores were insufficient to accomplish this, our experience with Eddie Knoell was Excellent. He was very responsive and professional both via email and over the phone. Even though he was unable to help us at this time, He gave us advice about how to improve our credit scores and we will be trying to get a mortgage with him again next year.

We initially spoke to Eddie several months before we were even ready to get home loan to buy a new house. We wanted to know exactly what we needed to do to get the loan we wanted because we had some things to clear up. Even though we weren't ready, he took the time and walked us through what we needed to do in the next few months so we were qualified for the amount and rate we wanted to be at. That's great customer service. When we were finally ready, we still wanted to do are due diligence and make sure we were choosing the right lender. We spoke to several and got different preapprovals and different answers. They were just not nearly as knowledgeable about the business as Eddie was and we got the total run around from everyone else. When we decided to with Eddie, we realized we picked the right person. He is very responsive with questions and concerns. He always got back to us right away and very honest with us every step of the way. This kind of customer service and honesty is very hard to find. We also got nothing but compliments from our realtors, and the title company. He even called the sellers to explain something to them. We got nothing but compliments about his professionalism, knowledge, and responsiveness. We closed on our house today and it was a great, relatively stress free process. I would highly recommend Eddie!

Very well. Although there were some issues that arose and lending requirements that we didn't understand, Eddie was patient and always worked through our concerns. He was always available and went the extra mile to make sure everything was handled and ready to submit to the Underwriters. Throughout the process he was a consummate professional.

Eddie is smart and understands the business, if there is anyway to help you obtain a loan he will help you get it.

This was the smoothest real estate financing we have ever experienced. Eddie and Kristi were always available to answer questions. Eddie handled an appraisal error with diplomacy, solved it, and received a significant correction to the appraised value. From the time we paid for the appraisal (our commitment point) to the day we signed final documents at the title office (the finish) was only 28 days. This is 28 calendar days with the Thanksgiving holidays included! Good job!

I will definately have this company as my first choice for mortgage needs in the future.

I can't say enough good things about Eddie and Kristi. They are, hands down, the best I have ever worked with in the mortgage business. I had to juggle a bunch of things and it was critical that I closed on time. Eddie was one step ahead of everything. Not once was I waiting on the mortgage company to get something done. Eddie and Kristi are amazingly responsive. My husband & I have been through numerous mortgages over the years due to relocating for jobs. This process was by far the easiest and most efficient. Given the new environment for getting a mortgage which is understandable given the previous "in-over-your-head" anything goes scenario, Eddie & Kristi worked miracles. We had one major hiccup related to a lien that was not released on a second mortgage that was paid off. The title company stepped in and helped us get a clear title. The lien was a result of sloppy mortgage work done in 2005 not anything O'Dowd did. Since we are in another state, Kristi arranged to have a notary meet us, we signed and now we are happy with a lower monthly mortgage and a much better rate.

It was a wonderful and painless experience for us. Eddie help us find a great mortgage rate (even though my credit had taken a hit in the last year for various reasons), fair closing fees, and gave wonderful customer service throughout the entire process. Eddie and Kristi were both very patient with my husband and I as they lead us through all the steps we needed to take to purchase a second home, while selling the first one. They always answered questions fully, accruately, and quickly. One night I needed the amount changed that I was going to borrow so that I could make a competitive offer on a home, Eddie supplied my real estate agent with the new paper work in under a hour!!! Record time in my opinion. I will recommend him to every one I know for their mortgage needs.

If I could describe Eddie to everyone, it would be summed up in one word... ETHICAL Eddie is not your normal wheeler and dealer when it comes to mortgages. We have heard horror stories from friends and family who tried to get loans from the big box companies or major banks. At those places, you are merely a number and not a person. With Eddie, you are treated like family. His integrity is never questioned and his work ethic never falters. We were never pressured into anything with Eddie and he was always upfront & honest with us about the entire process. There are few people who I would ever claim to be their customers for life but Eddie is one of those people. We will never go anywhere else for a home loan or any mortgage needs and would wholeheartedly recommend Eddie to everyone we know (and even those we don't!)

Eddie is a very knowledgeable and professional mortgage broker. He offered me a competitive rate for a refinancing of my home. He negotiated in a straightforward and honest manner. I preferred to communicate with him by e-mail and he answered my emails promptly, even after hours. The entire process took us less than a month. If I need another loan I will work with Eddie again.

We needed to do some remodeling on our home and we also wanted to restructure our existing loan to take advantage of exceptional rates. Eddie Knoell & O’Dowd Mortgage was every bit as professional, capable, competitive and pleasant to work with as we had read on Angie's List. Eddie went out of his way to stay in constant contact with us by both email and by phone. He contacted me after 5:00p to answer my questions and I was able to contact him after hours (after 5:00p) twice when I needed him. Now approval, signing and closing times vary according to each person's circumstances but we were pleased to be done with the whole process in ~ 22 days. I only wish now that the remodeling process could be half this easy!

Everything went fantastic. My husband and I were newly weds at the time. We were so excited about buying a home and yet we were very nervous at the same time. He really made us feel comfortable. He is professional, dependable, quick to follow up and answered all our questions along the way. We felt so taken care of. I highly recommend Eddie!

The oval financing experience went extremely well. I called Eddie Knoell of O"dowd & Associate Mortgage Co. and within a half hour he was able to qualify me and send a Pre Qualitfication Letter to my Realtor. After my contract was excepted for my new home the process went extremely smooth. I was even able to close a few days earlier than expected. I enjoyed working with Eddie and now I recommend him to everyone.

We were a really unique situation. We had purchased several homes as investment properties, and one of them was purchased only three months before doing this deal with Eddie, which made things even more difficult in this new restrictive lending environment. Being self-employed prior to landing a new job which I had for only a short time only added to our issues. We were basically your nightmare loan and Eddie made it look easy. We found our dream house and we were lucky enough to get our offer accepted, but as a real estate agent, I knew there was a string of backup offers waiting to take our spot. I was so nervous we might lose the deal due to all of our unique circumstances, that I called Eddie frequently for updates on our status and I got to talk to him every single time. I never got pushed off to an assistant, I only had to leave him a voicemail once, and I got a call right back. Eddie was amazing about communicating via email, I think I got a response to every single item I sent him. I will say that we were good about getting him what he asked for in a timely fashion because I knew it would help him do the job. Eddie was great about setting our expectations and always delivering good and bad news as soon as he got it. He explained things every step of the way--I really liked that he would try to work things out with the underwriter before he would bring it to me. He really tackled a lot of things so I didn't have to stop my day and track down paperwork or make phone calls, etc. So at the very end, when we were ready to close, we found a major hiccup. Eddie was calm and professional and got to work on finding an alternative solution. His staff was really helpful during that time and together we figured it out. Our loan closed, on time, with no issues. Even the follow up after closing was great. Eddie is A+ and I have recommended him to friends and clients already and will continue to do so. I'm sure our loan was probably one of the more difficult loans out there and he handled it perfectly!
