Smooth sailing, practically in and out. I've been using Moon Valley almost since they opened. I started using them just by dropping in one day while driving by on 7th Street. My regular mechanic could not take my vehicle that day. They treated me very well and I have used no one else but Moon Valley every since, through 3 cars. They have always been absolutely honest and frank with me. THey have suggested alternative repair strategies and have been upfront and direct about the estimated costs. There are a lot of crooked mechanics who fake unnecessary repairs and bilk customers. That has never been the case with Moon Valley and me! I actually look forward to taking my car to the shop and visiting with Dawn, and her Mom (if she's in) while the car is taken care of. I recommend them without reservation.

Normally my husband does the work on the car, particularly oil changes but since this cost the same, of course we are going to pay someone else to do it! They did a great job and were fast.

They replaced our transmission and hoses & belts. Dawn gave us a ballpark quote. She notified us when something else was found that wasn't included in the original quote. Work was done in a timely manner. Truck runs awesome now! We appreciated the call on the items that weren't originally included. Many places do the work without the courtesy of a call.

called in the morning, took the car in and explained the problem. they said give them an hour to examine the problem. they called an hour and half latter explained what was wrong and the cost to fix it to which i agreed. so they fixed it and had car back to me at the time they said it would be done.

They were very friendly, professional, and accommodating.

Our oil pressure light illuminated on our Volkswagen New Beetle. It was also time for an oil change so we dropped it off down the street from our house to get the work done at a tire center. The work was completed; however, we noticed after driving for a mile the light came back on again. We went back to the tire center and they advised that we had to replace about 5 different sensors since they couldn't tell us what was wrong with the car. I decided that we should have an expert shop take a look at the car since I didn't trust the tire center's diagnosis. A friend of mine had used Moon Valley in the past and was very happy, so I figured I would give them a call and see what they said. The owner's manual advised that we shouldn't be driving the car with the light on since it could cause damage to the vehicle and when I spoke with Dawn at the shop, she agreed that we should have it towed to the shop just to be safe. Dawn coordinated dispatching the tow truck and within the hour our car was safely loaded onto a flat bed towing truck on its way to Dawn and her crew. Dawn called me a couple hours later and to my surprise, we had a mouse nest inside the engine compartment underneath the air filter box. Disgusting. Dawn advised that the mouse chewed through the wires of the oil pressure sensor and that's why the light was illuminated. Her crew verified that the oil pressure was correct and there was no other damage to the car. They removed the nest and replaced the damaged wires instead of replacing an otherwise good sensor pack. They also advised the oil used by the tire center was not the correct type and did an oil change to correct the issue. Our belts are getting old due to the heat during the summer so we also had the shop replace the serpentine belt. Dawn's crew accurately diagnosed the issue (something the tire shop couldn't do) and saved me some money by only fixing what was wrong instead of blindly replacing all of the sensors to see what would work as the tire shop was going to do. I was so impressed by the work completed that I brought in my Honda Civic the following day to get some additional work completed. I've now found my preferred shop to go to for all of my car maintenance needs. Its a breath of fresh air to be able to talk with a knowledgeable service writer and be able to get a chance to explain to the mechanic in my own words what is going on with the car.

It was very expensive but they did fix it and they did a good job. We went back and had it checked by them a few months later to see if everything was working right and it was.

The part is fine and they did the work fine. They were prompt and professional but they are very expensive.

I work down the street from them so I drop the car off and they bring it back. They have great personal service.

They were excellent. I was a loyal customer for many years; the reason I don't go back is because I moved out of the area. I highly recommend them.

I waited around for the parts and they told me they couldn't get this part and that part. It took an extraordinarily long time to get it done and it never did work right afterwards. The truck was never the same. I took it back and told them about the noise I was hearing and they kind of blew it off. It took way too long, it was way too much money and I was not satisfied. I would not recommend them.

I had a nightmare experience with them and they were unprofessional. They over charged as they had charged me $2600 for some parts and they had my truck hostage for close to a week. They even knew that I needed the truck since I’m a full time student and they also charged me $600 for a kick down table which was way too high. They ended up saying that the truck was completely broken I was lucky to come to them. They went and replaced the flash plate, the torque inverter and the ripped the whole transmission apart. They hit me with a huge bill and I had to force them to get me a rental car after about four or five days since I was missing hours at work. They told me that the rental car would be free and then they charge me miscellaneous charges on the bill which I knew was for the car rental. When I got back my truck I thought that they had sabotaged the truck so that it would break down in the future and actually the truck ran worse than before I had given it in for service with them. I had to drive back to them and ask them to service my truck again since it was not acceptable as it was barely running and I had to take my truck to another shop which cost me even more money. They put my drive shaft in sideways on purpose I believe so it was off center and it caused a really bad vibration. The took the headers off the engine which they shouldn’t have done and they left four out of eight header screws off for which they had told me that I had an exhaust leak. I would not use them again in the future and also I would not recommend them to anybody. They wanted to use a welder and blowtorch on my truck to fix the vibration they created and they told me it would be another $350.00 dollars. The drive shaft wasn't sideways but it was off center and my headers were messed with pretty bad. They also took a knife and cut the thermal socks around my spark plug wires. Overall this shop did more harm to my truck than good and promised me that for more money they could make it run right.

Very well, dropped off car with key drop after phone conversation which was personable and professional. Received a phone call with a complete estimate before proceeding with any service. They recommended against some of my requests which they felt were costly and un-necessary which saved me some money. I usually perform my own maintenance and repairs and my inspection of their work reveals everything done correctly and with care. Their prices were in line with market rates for parts and labor and they did not go over their original estimate. My car was delivered the following morning and drives much better after the wheels were rebalanced due to pulsing at highway speeds. The ATF leak is gone and tranny lines are correctly routed. Overall, I would happily use them again. A good mechanic/auto shop is hard to find.

They did a great job on my car, and did the job very efficiently. They've done diagnostics for free after they did the repairs to my engine. I'm very happy with the service that they provided to me, and will use them again.

They understood my situation and that I need a vehical, they arranged for a tow service (Quik Pick they where also was very helpful). The SUV was picked up within an hour. With in a few hours after the initial call, they called and told me that they had checked the battery running the tests on it and it was in a condition of not being able to hold a charge (battery was 5 years old) and that they had checked the rest of the SUV and found everything else to be OK. And they where looking at the air and they felt that they could get it blowing cold again. about 2 hours later I got a call that it was ready, I told them that I was unable to get to ge there due to the other car also being worked on. NOT sure they want me to tell this but they said that they would try to arrange to have someone pick me up, about 20 minutes later I got a call that they where on the way to get me. When I got in my SUV it was COLD! Nothing but the best to say about EVERYONE working there I will personnaly use them for all future needs recommend then to everyone. Moon valley motor care did an excellent job on determine the problem in a short time and got back to with the cost. Did the job in the same day. Very good work and will use them for all my auto needs and so will all my family and friends. Dawn is very professional and a very good shop manager and up front with you not to sell something you do not need.

Kept me up to date. Extremely friendly and professional. Quick. Fair on price. Will definitely utilize service again.

The experience was very good overall. I called MVMC on a Friday afternoon and brought my car in for service. The driver's side window would not operate. They managed to locate the appropriate part from their suppliers and completed installation that afternoon. This is my second experience with MVMC, and I find both their communication with me and their explanation of the services rendered to be professional and straight forward. I feel very comfortable taking my car to MVMC for service.

They are very conscientious, very honest and thorough. They are a great repair shop.

They were great. Dawn was very efficient. You could tell she was running the place and she kept it all on track. They did what they said they would do. They were prompt and on time. We will use them again in the future.

My wife's Jeep was leaking brake fluid. Had the car towed to Moon Valley Motor care. One of the techs owns a Jeep so we were in good hands. I also got the radiator hoses replaced as they were cracked and one developed a slow leak. Overall it was a great experience and I will be taking the Jeep back there for regular service.

They're honest about what repairs are needed. They'll also tell you what minor repairs can be held off versus trying to up-sale you on everything. They're the cheapest best place!
