Handyman Connection - Phoenix

Mike came out and spent 3 hours talking with us about everything under the sum. He told us he would get back with us the next day...never heard from him again. I called Handyman Connection and they said they would give him my message. He led us to believe the job could easily be done and that he would be doing the work -and then we never heard back from him. Weird and unprofessional not to follow up.

We were very happy with the way things went. Mark arrived on time and gave us an estimate, we agreed on a price and he went right out to get the supplies he would need for the job. Mark was a pleasure to work with, very knowledgeable diligent hard working guy. The job ran into some unexpected difficulties along the way and wound up taking the better part of two days but Mark never got upset took it all in stride and did a great job. He cleaned eveything up so there was no mess overnite and promptly finished things up the following day. I'd reccomend Handyman Connection in general and Mark in particular.

The contractor was very professional and the work was fantastic.

Called them on 4/23 about an outside leaky faucet. They worked very hard to get me in as I was going out of town. They sent Marcus the next day. Found out the leaky faucet was a fire sprinkler which he could not fix but helped me with who could fix it. No charge. I would definitely use them again as they were professional, prompt and helpful.

Bob gave me an estimate to replace a utility door. We agreed to a contract and he arrived on-time to do the work. the door looks gret and he left the area as clean as it was before the work was done. Excellent job and a fair price. I HIGHLY recommend him and The Handyman Connection

Our phone call to Handyman Connection was answered promptly and an appointment was made for Ray to come to our home. He was on time for the appointment, reviewed with us the work to be done, made helpful suggestions, explained the labor/materials company policy, and gave us a price for the job. We agreed and an appointment was set for 3 days later. Ray arrived on time, began work immediately, efficiently and cleaned the work areas upon the job completion. Handyman Connection called several days later to ask if everything was done to our satisfaction. Both the company and Ray were a delight to work with and the quality of the work excellent.

Repairman had trouble removing the first deadbolt that caused him to take longer than he thought. There was no mention of increasing the quoted cost. Work was completed perfectly and and cleanly. Will defiantly use this company in the future.

We are extremely pleased with the entire project. Rich Gardner was professional and knew exactly what he was doing. We will definitely ask for him again on additional projects. I love my new lights in the kitchen. Once two of my neighbors looked at our results, they are having Rich put similar lights in their kitchens.

They're like a broker for people but they do a good job and they always send the quality guy out to do the work. They can handle anything. When you call them, they can send you a painter, plumber and electrician or whatever and they have to go through estimate. So far it's all been quality people that do good work so I like that about them.

Fine , he just applied glue to te part that came of of the bottom of the shower door a track that kept the door on track, I had the part.

Dave did a great job. Very professional workman - very knowledgeable craftsman. I was very pleased with his work and pleasant manner. I would definitely ask for him the next time I need work done.

I was very pleased with him, but I thought he was a little high. Because of the price, I probably will not use him again. He fixed two kitchen drawers for me. He did a great job for me; I have absolutely no complaints about what he did. He was nice and on time. I just thought that $150 to fix those two drawers was too much for me. I just thought $75 an hour with a two hour minimum was a bit steep.

All work was performed to my satisfaction and Mike was very professional, knowledgable, and had the expertise to perform the work and solve some unexpected challenges that arose along the way (for example: when replacing some bathroom sink faucets, the holes in the 11 year old sink were too small for the newer style faucets and Mike was able to drill the holes to fit the fixtures). I was a little disappointed that it took 4 days to receive an estimate, but I was happy with the work performed.

The company was very easy to work with and I was able to schedule someone to come out quickly. The gentleman they sent was professional, courteous, and very knowledgeable. Pricing was fair. Service was done same-day. Great service - will definitely use them again in the future and recommend to others.

Friendly, responsive customer service from the time I called for an appointment until the job was complete. Rick, one of their handymen, showed up right on time and provided a reasonable cost estimate for the labor. The company gives customers the option to either buy construction materials themselves, or they will purchase them, present receipts and ask for reimbursement. I opted to have Rick pick up the building materials and I separately purchased the paint and painting supplies. On the day when Rick returned to complete the job, he arrived promptly and set straight to work. He filled in the stucco cracks first, then tore out the damaged drywall and replaced it and the trim. He then painted the entire entrance area. Rick was very personable, easy to deal with, and is a great handyman. He fitted the new drywall and trim perfectly to the surrounding walls, and did a beautiful job with the painting -- sharp cuts and not a drop of paint out of place. He also cleaned up every speck and left the work area spotless. I'm an extremely happy customer, and won't hesitate to call Handyman Connection next time I need to have something fixed or replaced around my house.

The quote was just under $3,000 to remove tile, replace the tile, do tile on the floor and reinstall the sink cabinet. They were thorough and professional.

Handyman Connection sent out a professional, courteous individual to give me an estimate to have the trim of my house painted. He was helpful and I noticed somethings I hadn't seen before. The estimate was higher than I had hoped, so I decided to go with the painter who had worked on my neighbor's house. Because he was in business for himself, i was able to save around $300. BUT I want to say, Handyman Connection was very good in many ways and I would not hesitate to call them again for their help.

I called Handyman connect-about one week later the handyman showed up. He was friendly and gave me an estimate to complete work. He got started on two small projects-(fixing door handle and fixing door frame),both of which fell apart again within a week. He left, explaininh ge would return to complete the rest of the projects. Weeks past with no response on the completion of the work I wanted done-(drip system, indoor lighting, two toilets). I called the company three times, finally I got a response from the handyman. He apologized for his lack of professionalism. Explained he could not find the parts needed to fix the toilet of the light, & that I needed to contact a different company to complete the work. He said he would call back after the 15th to schedule the drip system repair-(since the parts would not be in until then), it is now the 25th and I have not received any call back-& he still has my parts! I am very frustrated by this experience, I wish I would not have wasted my time with them. I will not be calling this company in the future or recommend them to anyone!

Contacted the Handyman Connection last week and asked for a quote to install four ceiling fans. I was informed at the time that a quote could not be provided over the phone and that it could only be done by one of their team via a visit. If I liked the estimate, the work could be done at that time. We set up the appointment for the this week. The installer showed up on time, but was a different person than the name I had been provided. I showed Dave the locations for the installs. He proceeded to get out a blank invoice and then placed a phone call into the home office. The only information he provided over the phone was our name and the invoice number on the empty quote sheet. He waited for them (home office) to provide him with the quote, which he captured. Seriously..................???? I told Dave that this was frustrating since based on what I had just observed, I should have gotten the same quote over the phone the previous week. He furnished no new information to the home office!!. Even with the Angieslist coupon, the quote he gave me was high. Dave left. I am a bit confused about the Angieslist rating for the Handyman Connection. I don't care for the way Handyman Connection provided me the quote. More than likely they knew that if they had provided me with a high quote over the phone, they would have lost my business at that time. I don't like being gamed. I cannot do business with a company that operates this way.
