Handyman Connection - Phoenix

This was a while back but I do remember the service was good. They were punctual, friendly and did the job well.

We always are satisfied with the technicians, price and customer service. We spent between $1,200 and $1,500 during the year for the services provided.

Very professional and he did a great job.

I had repairs made to the outdoor wood along my garage door and lots of picture hanging done. I was very pleased with the results. I plan to hire them again.

Someone dropped the ball! Had a good initial BID and visit to our home. We were promised follow up via email with estimate. The handyman never follow through. He stated he had computer issues. After my calls to the company, I still did not get what I was promised. Eventually a manager called me back and left a voice message (don't recall his name). At that point we were honestly fed up with the experience and washed our hands of this company. Very sloppy. Too bad because we read that they had good reviews.

Unfortunately, they were a bit $500 more expensive and the schedule wasnt worth the wait.

The handyman was prompt, courteous and efficient. It was a simple job and they only charged for service call. We had the supplies already provided, though he would have gone to get them if needed. We would use them again.

Once they did some tile work for me. The repair job was great, but unfortunately the grout was not cleaned it up very well, so it stained my brick outside on the barbeque. Scheduling was good. They were prompt and they are always accommodating. They were professional and their prices are reasonable.

The service was fine. They fixed some tile work in the kitchen and did grout work in an upstairs bathroom. Just one worker came out and it took him about 3 hours. The gentleman was very nice and informative with that he was doing. The pricing was a little high though, but they were good and reliable.

He repaired some leaks for us. He showed up on time. He did everything that needed to be done and did it well.

They were very good, helpful and prompt. I used them a couple of times. One time they set up solar motion detotrs for me and worked on some electrical work. They have also leveled my French doors. They have also made sure an electrical panel was secure to a wall. They screwed it in and braced it for me. They are just very professional. They are great with answering questions.

The price was reasonable. They did good work and I would use them again.

I have used them before and was happy, that is why I used them again. Would really prefer that they would be able to come out the next day, but they say because this is in El Mirage, AZ that had to schedule a few days out that is my only complaint. They need to work on this. I have a few properties in that area and would like to continue to use them, but dont want to have to wait a few extra days..

They have a minimum fee for the visit which was what we paid. However, we have had Handyman Connection do other work in our home several times, and although they are pricier, we have always been pleased with the results. Their phone number is the one we reach for when we need anything done in our home.

We recently purchased a new stainless steel slide-in ceramic cooktop/oven. However, the unit would not fit into the existing kitchen cabinetry. The old stove was also hardwired and we needed to have a new 220 outlet installed to meet code. We contacted Handyman Connection [HC] based on the excellent ratings they received on A/L from 2012~2013. We called HC and setup an appointment to get an estimate. Mark arrived on time, looked at the situation and gave us a written labor estimate plus parts which included installing a 220 electrical outlet, removing and cutting the counter-top and back-splash behind the existing range and replacing it, cutting and removing the kick-panel base on the floor, laminating the cut edges of the back-splash, installing stainless steel tile and removing the old stove and installing the new stove. I called Mark later that day and told him we would hire him and I asked when could he start the project, He said he would check with the main office the next morning and would call me back, which he did, and we setup an appointment on 12/16. On 12/16 Mark arrived right on time and began to work on removing the old stove and installed the 220 outlet. He then worked on cutting out the kick-panel and removing the counter-top and back-splash and then trimming it to fit the new stove. A couple of hours later he told me there was a problem. He was not able to laminate the edges of the back-splash because of a problem removing the existing laminate. I was mildly disappointed by the news, but Mark contacted his office and HC reduced their total bill by $50 which we appreciated. After Mark finished and before he left, my wife looked at the appearance of the installation of the new stove, tile work and cabinetry and said it looked very good and we were very satisfied with Mark's work. Mark is very professional, takes pride in his craftsmanship, and is very likable and easy to talk to. All in all it was a very good experience. We plan to have Mark back again to do a future project.

I used this service twice and was very pleased both times, but I don't remember the exact dates. Handyman Connection, as the name implies, supplies a handyman who provides the specific service. My first contact was a plumber for bathroom repairs, and my second contact was a locksmith for my front door. The plumber showed me how to adjust the tank mechanism myself if it happened again. The locksmith quickly identified a subtle problem with the door hinge which solved the problem, it wasn't in the lock; and, he did it so quickly that he had time to tighten some loose hinges on my kitchen cabinets.

Went Excellent! Professional, communicative, and very high quality results.

We called Handyman Connection (HC) yesterday because of trouble with our attic door, and HC was able to schedule someone to come out the first thing this morning. "Tom" called about 30 minutes before and arrived on time, diagnosed the problem quickly and fixed it. He also took the time to explain to my husband what was wrong and what might happen in the future. He was quick, pleasant and professional. We will use HC again and will recommend them to friends.

This provider often presumed too much. He was trying to hold me to his small print and I was trying to hold him to his large print. When I made an inquiry about a tiled handicap style shower, he immediately informed me that it would be much more expensive than the 'deal', which was supposed to be $10,000 of work for $4,999. I told him nevermind that request, that I would have the VA take care of it later. At that time he inform me that they only replace what is there in the first place. I thought why would I want my high end appliances replaced with his cheap offerings. He said 'we take your bathtub and replace it with a new one. "I replied "what bathtub? I have a custom tile shower." After sending him an e mail informing him I will be going to an assisted living facility, he e-mailed me back saying that I cannot get any money back and should have the work done to increase the home value. First, I do not own the house. Second, I never took possession. Furthermore I could never ever use a person like him to do ANY contracting work what so ever.

They did a good job. They were flexible and made sure I was satisfied. The cost was reasonable too. I use Handyman Connection of Phoenix all the time now. They have a lot of competent workman. They willingly explain things well. They have an eye for aesthetics and always clean up after themselves without being told.

Mike K. was AMAZING! This man knows his stuff when it comes to doing it right and keeping the customer in the loop. The move of the washer and dryer allowed us to create a bigger pantry and then in turn add a bar area to our Great Room. Mike was on premises for almost 2 weeks (we started this project the week of Thanksgiving 2013) and was on his own for 95% of the project - with the exception of our two German Short Haired Pointers who he spoiled on top of the great work! We are very very pleased with the work and will be using Handyman Connection again when we discover our next project!

I can't remember everything he did that day, but Rick was awesome. This is the 3rd or 4th time we have used him since we purchased our home in May 2013.
