Bought the bathroom remodel on Angie?s List. Took me 5 months to choose the tile (Allen, thank you for your patience.) Then came demolition and a few surprises. Well, I wasn?t completely complete surprised, I knew there were problems. It?s a 70-year old house and the pipes in the ground were corroded and broken. Once the floor was opened up I had the choice to fix them or not. Was the extra work on the high side? Not by much. I checked with friends and neighbors who had similar work done in houses which were built around the end of WW2 and the price was comparable. Can?t say enough good things about Mike, who did the actual work. He was very knowledgeable, explaining each stage of the renovation. When we got to the painting and tiling, Mike was as good at the cosmetic side of the work, making things beautiful, as he was at plumbing and ripping out corroded pipes. I now have one gorgeous bathroom. Between my design choices and Mike?s expertise, I have a Candice Olson bathroom, if I do say so myself. What I was looking for in choosing Handyman Connection was someone I could trust, someone who did excellent work and someone who wouldn?t fleece me financially. I would definitely use Handyman Connection again and I?ve already recommended them to almost everyone I know. Many thanks, guys.

Don from Handyman Connection came to give us an estimate for stucco repair in our exterior laundry area. He was prompt, very knowledgeable about the work to be done, and friendly. I thought the price was extremely fair, especially after watching Don work throughout the day. The quality of work was great and I would definitely use Don/Handyman Connection again for repair work at my home.

This is the third time I've used Handyman Connection and once again, the work was done properly, quickly, professionally. They said they would be there between 8 and 8:30 (none of this between 8 and noon stuff that some services do!). Dustin was there promptly at 8. He gave me an estimate after listening to the problem, then while he fixed the back door, I ran out to get the parts for the bifold. Brought the parts, he did the install, having to make several adjustments that I could not have made to make it work properly. All in all, very professional, friendly and fast service. I thought the price was reasonable for the work that needed doing, it took him a bit over an hour (and a lot of know how!).

Handy men was polite ,.. I explain to him that issue of not having Any hot water coming in . ..! immediately he new what to do.about it. .. change one part in the inside of the facet ... after that hot water was coming in!! . His work was very professional . Thank you Angie .

Jonathan has done work at my house before, and the quality of the work (hole patch, gas line install--he leveled the stove perfectly) is excellent (on both the past and current jobs). The wall behind the stove looks so good I want to drag the stove out and show it to my family, guests, everyone. So, I have no qualms with the ultimate outcome of the repair itself. They are expensive (hence the B on price), yet the quality is high and they only work with other licensed contractors (a gas specialist assisted with the repair). Some of this is my fault; I received a bid a year ago that was much lower, and I sat on it. Oops. I also graded the professionalism a B due to the clean up; it did not match the excellence of the wall/gas line repair. I have black counter tops, so the spilled white substance on the counter was hard to miss. I also had to mop in front of the stove because of leftover muck. The kitchen sink was also dirty. And finally, there was a small pile of white powder in the front yard by the water faucet. I also mention this because "Clean Up - No Matter What" is a prominent notation on the labor agreement. Handyman Connection was very accommodating with scheduling, method of payment, and again, the repair itself is very well done. I would (and probably will) rely on Jonathan again.

We would never use or refer these people as they are just very lazy and have no customer service.

I purchased a drop-in range from Home Depot with delivery and haul away. I assumed they would install it as well. It took me many phone calls and over a week to find out they wouldn't install it. I called around and was referred to Handyman Connection. They were a week out in scheduling, but I was out of options. Carl arrived right on time and had the tools and know-how to do the job. He was very efficient, knowledgeable and safe in working with the 220V 50Amp electrical. When the range wouldn't sit quite right, he didn't insist that it was good enough. He made the adjustments to make it fit right and look nice. I would definitely use Handyman Connection again the next time I need a handyman service.

He emailed me back a day or so later and said he'd call. Never did.

Mike was running late for the appointment due to his previous job taking longer than expected. He contacted me and let me know when to expect him. He arrived promptly at the new time and was very personable, knowledgeable and professional. The work was excellent and I would definitely use this company again.

We called and left a message asking for a return call. They never called. Even if they were not interested in doing the job, they could have responded.

The "Handyman" Todd arrived on time for the on site estimate and the actual job. The job was done within the estimated budget and on time (no unhappy surprises.) I was amazed at the quality of the workmanship and the profession demeanor of the "Handyman". Top notch! I will be scheduling a few more projects with Handyman Connection this fall.

Paty was rude, short with me and disrespectful. I felt like I was bothering her by asking questions. It honestly felt like she didn't want to book someone for the job. I really wanted to hire someone for a few thousand dollars worth of work! Maybe I should say that up front next time. I'm so annoyed.

He believed that we didn't need to take further action. He was pretty honest. He could have said, Let's go ahead and replace that. We just kept his card for the future if we want to do anything. He was very good. His honesty stood out about him and he was easy to talk to. His responsiveness was excellent.

Let me just say that this company was so awesome! This company was very professional and their staff and handyman were extremely pleasant to work with! The job price was quoted after the free estimate and the job was completed quickly just as promised! I will defiantly use this company again!!!

The provider arrived and gave me a quote for the job. I stated it was high and Tom replied, "Their prices are always high. They have far too much overhead. They have five people in the office alone. I am actually a contractor and can do the same job for you through my company for $600.oo." He then wrote his won telephone number and ROC license number on the Handyman Connection contract #85023. I would never do business with someone who tries to cheat the company they are sent to represent.

I initially spoke to Patty to schedule the service and discuss their process for service. Patty was wonderful and she scheduled Paul to come out to fix my front door and frame. Paul is a hard worker and did an excellent job, and he was very professional. I would trust Paul or another handyman from here to come out again from the Handyman Connection.

I called and was easily able to schedule a convenient time/day. I received an email confirmation with the name of the handyman and a picture. Charlie arrived right on time, after calling the evening before to confirm. Charlie looked at the issue I was concerned by (damage to the base of the kitchen sink cabinet) and recommended against replacing it (he noted that it would be obvious that a fix had been made and would not make a functional difference). He also took a look at a door frame that is catching. I really appreciated his professionalism and will contact him if I decide to go ahead with these or any other projects.
