Description of Work: Great service and good price. They completed my list of things to do in one day. Best if you have the materials for jobs first such as shower doors, ceiling fans, mini blinds, etc. They have the tools but will take extra time if they have to acquire the materials.

Description of Work: Dave from Handyman Connection was excellent in repairing crown moulding hung by another contractor. He also hung additional crown moulding requested. We were all around pleased with this company from beginning to end.

Would definately recommend this company and definatley use them in the future great experience. Hard to find companies that care about there work in Phoenix this one definatley stands out.

Description of Work: My wife and I have used Handyman Connection in the past and we have been very happy with their work. This time we retained them do a COMPLETE remodeling of our master bathroom. They were very reasonable on their pricing and did not exceed their quote. I cannot tell anyone who reads this email how truly happy we are with the work, Lou from Handyman Connection, did. He did carpentry, dry wall, plumbing (new toilet, basin and shower plumbing), relocated two light fixtures, install two new medicine cabinets, ceramic tiling, and shower door installation. Lou was at our home for 5 days and he was prompt and totally professional. The only regrets I have is that I didn't take before and after pictures; however, I will correct that problem when we have them remodel our guest bathroom and kitchen Handyman Connections has all our home improve projects from now on..

He gave us an estimate beforehand and came in on budget. We highly recommend him and will definitely call him for future projects and repairs.

Description of Work: My repairman was prompt, courteous, and very hardworking. The work he performed was the following: tightened up outside outlets, nailed in loose roof boards, fixed weather stripping on a door, filled cracks in outside stucco and did touch-up painting, and repaired grout in the master shower. All the work was nicely done except we did have a little issue with the grout repair. I had asked him to fill the voids with a closely matched grout color. He shopped for all the supplies and said that he found a grout that was a good match. I was busy with another vendor and by the time checked his work I found that the "grout" he used was actually a silicone caulk which was heavily applied and much darker than the existing grout color. I asked him to remove the caulk that he applied and found a tike store that had the correct color of grout. He rectified the problem without hesitation, but it did waste a lot of time.

Besides being professional, friendly and easy to deal with, his work was so well done, and in a timely manner (not always common in Phoenix) but a living room project blends so well it looks as if it was always as it is now. Description of Work: No service provided. We are writing this review based on a missed appointment. It took us over a week to get a handyman scheduled and then the day of the appointment the service called to say they could not make it to our house. None of the work we wanted done was critical but we were hosting a work party that weekend and wanted something's fixed in advanced. We are disappointed that this provider could not plan better and keep their commitment.

Description of Work: Allen Hopkins at Handyman Connection went the extra mile by providing us with a reasonable quote for drywall damage which was done by former tenants. We asked him to give us a quote and we needed it in a hurry. He gave us the quote the same day which was a huge help to us. He was the only repair person who offered to help us out in this manner. he was polite and concerned about our unique need in this situation.

Description of Work: I had a great experience with Kevin from Handyman Connection. He was very professional and did several different projects for me. He removed a circa 1980's intercom system and was very careful to make sure the power to the units was disconnected properly. The drywall patching he did was excellent. So much so that unless you know to look for the spots, you would never notice. He made sure to give me a piece of the old drywall so that the paint could be matched but it's so close already that it hardly needs it. I'm just going to wait until I repaint. He also replaced a light fixture and installed a dimmer which works great. He installed a shower curtain rod to the wall which also is great and much better than I would have done. He seems like the kind of person who would always be sure to do the job right. Kevin was very respectful and unobtrusive and draped everything well. The cost was more than a previous handyman service I used for some things but the quality was much better and well worth the extra money. Recently, Mike from Hanydyman Connection came out to work out bids for more work I would like to have done, some fairly big projects. We plan to replace the walls in my AZ room properly this time so that I won't have water damage and to insulate the walls as well. Also, instead of having windows reminiscent of a trailer home (the walls currently look like this as well) we plan on putting in several large sliding glass doors. As well as everything else that goes along with this project, eg ceiling and flooring and ceiling fans, as well as dog doors and a spot for a portable a/c unit so I can keep the dogs outside in the summer while I'm at work. We're also going to replace one of my windows in a bedroom with French doors which will require cutting through block wall. Mike is a big thinker with great ideas and is willing to do my bigger projects in pieces so that I can afford to have everything done as my budget allows. We talked about lots of other things as well and Mike was very knowledgeable about pretty much everything, confident and honest about pricing. Both of my experiences were outstanding and I would not hesitate to recommend this company and its employees. Obviously, I plan to use this company again and they'll actually probably be my "go to guys" because they know what they can and can't do, they do quality work, have fair prices and both of the guys so far have been super nice as well as professional.

Description of Work: Tim did an excellent job on a very large drywall project. My newly purchased house had a slab leak which resulted in major drywall damage when the house was replumbed. There were 14 large areas of drywall removed in almost every room in my home and the garage. Tim had repaired some small holes previously and the work was excellent so I asked for him to do the repairs. Once again, Tim's work was well beyond expectations. He was able to fix all of the drywall damage in only one day and the results are beautiful. Unless you know where to look, you wouldn't even know there had been damage. I was also having a new refrigerator delivered on the day Tim was there, and he fixed the hole behind where the fridge was going to be placed first so that it would be dry by the time the delivery arrived. I can't say enough about the high quality of Tim's work, his professionalism and the neat and clean area he leaves when he has finished a job.

Description of Work: After the fiasco with The Might Electricians Inc, I decided to find out more about The Handyman Connection. Again, I could not get anything out of them in terms of what they might charge to (1) install a garbage disposal (pretty basic task), or (2) replace the kitchen sink faucet (again, a pretty basic task). I was able to extract from them that their minimum charge was $80. Since they charge by the task and not the hour, I had no way of predicting how much I would be out, so I cancelled my appt with them.

Description of Work: I had them repair a hole a tenant made in a wall. The hole had been patched by the tenant but it was a poor patch job. The work needed to be done correctly. The quality of the work was excellent but $180 for 1 hr and 45 min?!?! I've been a landlord for 11 years and I know what a handyman costs (typically $20-30/hr). I have a guy I normally use (AA custom builders who charges me $30) but he was booked and I needed someone fast. The work was done fast, the guy was on time and great but $100+/hr for handy work? I have another professional contractor that charges me $45/hr - you'd be insane to use this company.

Description of Work: Sent an e-mail via Angies list Link and they NEVER RESPONDED. I can find companies like this on my own, and don't need to pay a yearly fee to do it!!

Description of Work: Utilized Handyman Connection on 02/11/11 to remove three inoperable motion detector lights and install three new ones. He was on time, provided a fair estimate of cost, completed the job professionally, and cleaned up after himself. We were so impressed, we had him bid on three other projects for us, and he will begin work on those in the near future.
