Description of Work: Having sought the workmanship of one (out of many) in the Handyman Connection, my evaluation should be considered in light of the person to whom I was assigned to complete my project. After one trip to Home Depot to return the items that did not match the already existing plumbing, the Handyman accompanied me on the second trip. He, too, selected incorrect items which subsequently had to be returned. However, during his excursion with me he informed me (as we were leaving the store) that there would be a fee for his accompanying trip with me. I was surprised, as no mention of an additional fee was made prior to the trip in order to let me know and to let me have the option of accepting or rejecting his offer. At final completion of the job, he presented me with a bill incorporating his "fee". I felt this was highly unprofessional and a flim-flam artist approach to making an extra buck. In a profession which is largely word of mouth, it is important to have integrity. He succeeded in casting doubt on the Handyman Connection, where it is probably undeserved.

It is difficult to respond to a member when they don't give us any information about the work, or the problems. The member states we did work in 2013 but our records show the only time we were at their home was in Aug. 2011 to hang some pictures. The main complaint seems to be with the quality of the work. Handyman Connection always offers a free one year guarantee on the quality of our work. If there is ever a problem with our work we are happy to fix it at no charge.
