Larry Hale to the rescue again...this time for an emergency. He did outstanding job. We couldn't have asked for more...

They were professional, responsive and punctual. They knew what they were doing and the quality of their work was good.

I was very happy with Larry. He did a beautiful job on the closet--it looks like a new room after he demo'd the old furnace platform, dropped the ceiling to hide the ductwork, added some drywall, and painted and re-tiled it. I was impressed with the workmanship. He also installed a ceiling fan, installed two bathroom lights, and somehow, magically, fixed a door that has never shut correctly since I bought the house five years ago. I really liked how easy it was to schedule Larry through Handyman Connection and add on projects, since I kept thinking of more things that needed done. Larry was professional, showed up on time, and did a great job.

Jay called the night before to confirm the appointment. He was exactly on time and was very pleasant to have in our home. He repaired the holes as well as some stress cracks in our master bedroom and bath in preparation for our painter. We also asked for a bid to repair additional stress cracks around our house and he will come back another time (at our request) to do that work for us. Because we have been unsuccessful in getting a "knock down" finish from the spray cans to look good, I asked him to teach me how to do it as I occasionally make small repairs myself. He was very patient and made me feel much better about not doing it well in the past - it is apparently a bit of an art.

I couldn't have asked for more. Mike, the handyman doing the work, was on-time, very skilled, hard-working and most pleasant to deal with. I couldn't recommend Mike more highly.

We have been satisfied with our dealings with the Handyman Connection, from initial contact through estimate process to completion of the work. There is clarity about when someone is coming, who it will be, how long the work will take, no surprises about final cost, and professional invoicing.

While the job was slow to get started--it turned out all the wood had to be special ordered, which took time and delayed the project for at least a week or two, which did not make me happy--once it got going it could not have been better. Our handyman was Ray, whom we've used before and we're really happy with. We will ask for him every time from now on. He is polite, professional, an excellent craftsman--and is nice, to boot. There were stumbling blocks along the way, but he was able to work around them or come up with solutions very nicely. For example, the correct size wood for the railings that hold up the bannister was not available, even by special order. So he planned to cut down 2x4's to make them the size to match the deck railings. However, his saw and the wood would not cooperate with that kind of cut, so he suggested just using the full size 2x4's as the railings. I agreed that he should go for it, and the end result is much better than even the original railings. The staircase is gorgeous! (Who knew you could feel that way about stairs?) We're plannning on having the whole deck re-done to match. Ray went above and beyond in his service, and he cleaned up so well we wouldn't have even known he was there-and this was a big job! I highly recommend Ray/Handyman Connection. Another very nice thing about Handyman Connection is their staff/phone people are very nice and friendly and cooperative. An all around good experience!

Jay called me the night before and told me he would be there at 7:00 and he was there exactly on time. He re-textured a large patio ceiling and I am very pleased with the job done. The price was in line with other quotes.

Initially, we had another company give us an estimate to do the above work. Their estimate was exceedingly high, far more than we believed we should have to spend. It was at this point that it occurred to me that we should join Angie's list to find the right handyman. Handyman Connection, with its outstanding reports, was right at the top of your list. I called; they responded in good time. Wesley Stryczek, the man who completed our job, was absolutely fabulous. After coming out to give us the estimate, he met us at Home Depot where we picked out the gate and the door. The work was done on two separate days. My husband and I could not be more pleased. In case you are wondering, that original estimate was nearly 5 times more.

Wesley was my assigned guy. He came when he said he would, made a quick and accurate assessment of the job, performed the work in a quality and timely manner. Very professional. I will use them again.

They did a great job. The person who came out to work was terrific and did an excellent job. He was a real gem. There was no flaw as all the things happened the way I hoped for it to happen. I am satisfied with their work and I would recommend them highly.

They called, set an appt to look at the job, and give me an estimate. they showed on time, and delivered a professional, fully detailed, written estimate. The price was reasonable, the work was done well, and very quickly. I would highly recommend.

Ray the contractor showed up early in the morning at 8:00 am as agreed. He talked to me about different options for my security doors (the latches and deadbolt weren't matching up with the holes) and we agreed that making the holes bigger would be the best option for two of the doors and raising the strike plate on the other door would be the best option. About 1 hour later, the work was done and all my doors latches and deadbolts locked with no resistance at all. I couldn't be happier with the result.

We decided to wait on a decision, but feel confidant that we would go to this company again, when our circumstances are better.

On time, can't tell it was repaired, cost 10% less than quoted.

Dan arrived promptly and went through the house with me noting all that needed to be done. After giving me the estimate we set up a time for him to spend the entire day at the house. He arrived on time and worked quickly and very professionally. All items could not be completed in one day so he returned and finished everything. He was very thorough and problem solved some tricky repairs. Everything looked great when he was done and he left everything clean and neat. I was impressed with the companys organization and the skill of this handyman. Very pleasant too. He picked up any parts that were needed for my job and gave me the reciept for my records. I requested Dan to complete some projects in my home after this experience and had the same great experience. He figures out the best way to complete the repair and keeps me informed regarding the options. He communicates any problems and how he intends to solve them. The scheduling person is pleasant and calls to check on your experience. Excellent company. I will use them for anything I have in the future.

They came out and gave me a free estimate, and showed up when scheduled. They held to their exact price they gave me.

From the start, they were quick with a call to get out and get a estimate for the work. I had to reschedule the date and time to get the work completed due to my HOA requirement to getting the water turned off in my building. Each time I called Handyman Connection they were always professional, helpful and friendly. Mark who did the work was great, fast and answered all my questions. I will call on them in the future and highly recommend their services.

I called them and they gave me a price and I also gave them the part number. When he came, somehow they did not relay him the part number, so he had to go and get an equivalent part. They called me and gave me a price that was well above the price they quoted me after speaking to the owner. I would not use them again. The guy called before he came and came when he said he would and replaced the part quickly enough when he had the right part.

Dave Kirkland called and asked if it would be ok to come earlier. I was on my way home anyway so it was even better. He was very professional, clean and cleaned up after. He was quick with the estimate that was very good, he had to buy some materials, because of other issues with the shower,which could not be expected a the time..This was ok with me. I will recommend Dave and Handyman Connection to others. I'm also going to suggest our HOA using them for work around our complex.

Robbie arrived on time and quickly diagnosed the problem with both fans. He explained all my options including an estimate of the cost for each. He purchased the necessary parts and provided a receipt with the cost for them. The repairs were quickly made to my 100% satisfaction. The cost was reasonable and I will use the company again in the future.

Worked non stop for 8 hours with me assisting. Professionally assembled pre-fab shed using hundreds of the fasteners provided. Did a great job of interpreting the poorly written assembly manual. Even came back the next day (Sunday) to assemble the concrete anchors at no additional charge. This is the second time I've used H.C.

The guy was punctual, congenial, and accommodating. He gave an estimate, and the work came out in accordance with the estimate. He was a very good craftsmen, much better than average.
