+ 0 moreI decided to schedule our fireplace flue and dryer vent cleaning with AZ Chimney Sweep based on comments made in Angie's List. The receptionist was extremely kind and helpful. I got an appointment that fit our schedule perfectly. Alex showed up earlier than the scheduled 9:30 am appointment. He was very courteous and took care when moving items around so he could work. Afterwards he explained the conditions of the vents and how to take care of them in the future. I was glad I had the work done, and have noticed an improvement in the performance of the fireplace and especially the dryer. We have been in the house for 4 years and had no idea how the previous owners took care of things like this. Alex left our home very clean; they use very powerful vacuum equipment and filtration to contain the dust. I highly recommend AZ Chimney Sweep, and will definitely use them in the future.

+ 0 moreAs soon as I had purchased the service, the company gave me a call to schedule the work. They were very acommodating and the work was performed professionally and punctually.
Description of Work: I had the company come out to do a chimney sweep as it was a used home I had purchased earlier in the year. Not knowing what shape the chimney was in, I thought "Better safe than sorry". They were very professional and easy to work with in scheduling. They suggested that I consider installing a spark arrester which, by code, wasn't mandatory, but I decised it was a good idea. They professionally installed the new spark arrester and it looks great.

Description of Work: Two men arrived right on time, and proceeded to clean my fireplace's very sooty chimney with the vac equipment from their truck. They worked efficiently and quickly, and left no mess behind. They put everything that was moved back neatly. They were courteous and professional, and did a great job.

+ -1 moreI called A Arizona Chimney Sweep to take advantage of their $99 special. They responded to my message within an hour, and they were able to send someone out the next day for service. The technician was very friendly and knowledgeable and even talked a little NFL football while he was working. He was very quick and clean....you would never even know he'd been here! I asked him about a chimney cap, as I had noticed there wasn't one up there. Even though it was late in the day, he offered to put one in if I was interested. I was, and he went ahead and installed it right away and made up another invoice. He did a great job, and I'm very pleased. I will go with this company again for any fireplace needs that I have.

+ 0 moreThis company cleaned my fireplace, installed a chimney cap and cleaned out the dryer vent.
Description of Work: This company "educated" me about why my fireplace was forcing smoke into my house. I thought there was something wrong with my fireplace so we had not used it in years. Arizona Chimney Sweep explained concepts such as "draft" and explained that I could not have my heater or any vents on while I am using my fireplace because the heater, etc. would draw the smoke back into my house. They installed a chimney cap on my fireplace so I would not have cinders flying out onto my roof. I would highly recommend this company and be sure to ask them for advice - now I can enjoy my fireplace because I actually know how to use it! They told me about the best type of wood to buy and other important facts - like keeping a window open so there is adequate air. Arizona Chimney Sweep was reliable, professional and reasonably priced. They are "excellent" in all areas and provided me with information that easily covered the cost of the service - they also recommended cleaning my dryer vent - which never occurred to me but could have caused a fire because there was so much lint in the vent.
