Arizona Chimney & Air Ducts

I bought my home 6 months ago, and the inspection didn't cover the chimney; so I wanted it cleaned before I made a fire. Good thing I did. When the service tech opened the damper, a huge pile of soot and a dead bird fell down! Had he not had the vacuum running, the soot would have gone all over the living room. The service was excellent, very thorough, and not a speck of soot in the house. The tech also went up on the roof to adjust the chimney cap so no more birds would get in. This was my first experience scheduling and paying through Angie's List, and I'll definitely do it again.

The representative showed up after a phone call, very promptly. I was sick and my niece let him in, but he was very professional and made sure to do a good job, even though I couldn't watch--I spent most of the day in bed. I really appreciate him coming in and doing such nice work and dealing with a sick client. Very nice employee!

The young man that came was fantastic. Very polite and he worked quickly. Everything was completed with no mess. I will be using them again in the future.

Great company to work with. From the initial scheduling which was all done thru email. They were extremely responsive and made it very easy to set up the appointment. I received a call 20 minutes before they were scheduled to arrive. The work was done and he cleaned up afterwards. I was also able to ask him some questions which he happily answered. I will definitely use them again the next time I need my chimney cleaned.

The provider arrived on time, fully explained what he was going to do then got started. The process was very neat and clean. He then explained the costs and benefits of a spark arrestor which I didn't have on the top of my chimney. It was anything but a "hard pressure" up sale. He simple explained and said I'll do whatever you'd like. It was a pleasurable example to deal with this provider.

I Found Arizona Chimney Sweeps here on Angie's list during a deal of the day. Bought the deal and was contacted by them the same day. Set up an appointment for the following Monday. They arrived on time. Nice guy, very professional, clean and friendly. Did a good job and cleaned up everything, there was no mess. I highly recommend them and I will use them again.

He was able to clean the top of the chimney, there were a lot of birds inside, he was able to get the newest birds out. He went ahead and put a cap on the chimney and only charged me a service call fee and the cap fee. I appreciated the effort and he did a good job at what he could get accomplished.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it was fine. I had no problems. He was punctual, came out and did the work. I was surprised at how fast it was. He said I had a clean dryer vent. He said there was no mess in there and what he took out was very little.

He arrived about 15 minutes early. Very professional and friendly. Came prepared, assessed the fireplace and went right to work. He was very organized and had all the proper equipment. I was very impressed at how clean and organized his equipment was since fireplaces can be messy. He didn't rush and did an excellent job, he neatly packed up his equipment and left. I would give him and his company an A+ rating, best serve call/job I have experienced in years. I will recommend him to all my friends with fireplaces.

First of all, great customer services. They immediately contacted me set up my appointment, and then made adjustments when my circumstances changed. Their employee arrived at my home punctually, looked clean and professional, worked quickly but thoroughly, and left my home spotless. I am very impressed and will definitely call again. Very professional and helpful customer service when we called. They scheduled an appointment with our schedule to make it very convenient. The service technician showed up on time and was courtesy and helpful during the cleaning process. Very informative on explaining the issue and suggesting that we clean more frequently because of the design of the house and direction of the vent. The whole service call took about an hour and our dryer/vent works much better. Thank you for the great service and we will use you again!!

I got this as an Angie's List deal. It was second time for service. This first time was 2 or 3 years ago. The service was great back then, and they performed just as well this time. They responded promptly to my request and scheduled me for Friday, Sept. 5. Showed up on time. Did a great job of sweeping and a meticulous job of cleaning up after. Stove is good to go for another year or so, as long as we don't have too many no-burn days.

Serviceman did an excellent job. There was no mess. He cleaned up everything. I am very satisfied. I only moved to this house last year and have never used the fireplace, but thought it should be cleaned since the house is 20 years old. Serviceman said the fireplace is in excellent condition and I could use it if I wanted to. However, the invoice he left said "be sure to open the damper prior to lighting a fire." Now if only I could figure out where/what the damper is - hmmm! I'll ask the handyman.

I contacted Arizona Chimney Sweep this morning to come install a chimney cap. They gave me an estimate over the phone and said someone would be out approximately 2 1/2 hours later. The Arizona Chimney Sweep employee arrived promptly at the agreed upon time. He told me he would look at the situation and then we could determine which cap to install. He went and got his ladder, and climbed up to look at our chimney. This in itself was a difficult task due to the bushes and foliage around our house. He advised me to go inside so as not to be in the heat, and he'd ring the doorbell when he was through. Just a few minutes later, he rang the doorbell and advised me that the one chimney missing the cap was a "blank". I looked at him in exactly the same way - a "blank" stare. I'd never heard of a blank chimney. He said they were often used for appearance, but there's only one working chimney and that had a cap. He advised that he could charge me the service fee and the cost of a new chimney cap if I wanted it for aesthetic purposes, but I declined. He said there would be no charge, and I was expecting for him to at least charge the service fee. I then offered him a tip, and he declined. He gave me his business card and said to call if we needed the chimney cleaned, and I certainly will! I'm also in the process of remodeling and will recommend this business to others.
