Dean called ahead of time and was punctual. Notified me of any additional fixes. Polite, quick and quality work.

Jason was very helpful in letting me know what was happening knew he was going to fix the door. Very professional. When I need help again I hope Jason is here to help us.

The repairperson came on Sunday (he'd had several calls before mine, but called with an estimated time of when he'd arrive). He explained the need for the work necessary, promptly completed it, and charged a reasonable price. Now the door sounds quieter, performs as smoothly as when it was new! I would definitely recommend them, and would use their service again!

I had a broken frame on a garage door. Their service was excellent They came the next day and fixed it promptly. They did a good job on the door. I thought the price was good, but they did add a gas surcharge, which was not apparent to me when I made the appointment. I thought they should have been up front about it. Other than that I was very satisfied. I would recommend this company to others.

After remodeling our home which also included the garage, we needed to have another garage door opener button installed by the additional door we installed. We could not find enough info or reviews for the company who had previously worked (they had left a sticker by the original door opener button) on our home before we purchased it. So, we carried out some online research and found that A1 Garage Doors had many satisfied customer reviews on various online customer review sites. We called and scheduled to have a technician come out to have the requested work done. When Danny arrived, he was very personable and knowledgeable. He efficiently carried out the job of wiring and installing a new opener switch all at a reasonable charge. He also kindly oiled the garage door rollers, etc. for no additional charge and gave advice to care for the door. We were so satisfied with Danny that we will ask to have him sent out to our home for future maintenance, etc. One other important item, we want to thank you Danny for your service and sacrifice to our country in the Coast Guard. You'll always have our family's gratitude for that!

My whole experience with A1 was great from start to finish. A1 provided the best pricing. Additionally, it was very reasonable pricing for repair my garage door once they saw the damage. Since my garage door was off the rail and I could not close it all the way, A1 was able to come out in less than 24 hours. Danny the installer was very professional and got the work done very quickly. He also checked my springs and cables which did not need to be replaced at this time. I will use A1 for all my future garage door repair needs. I highly recommend A1 to anyone who wants high quality service at a very good price.

!Made an appointment for 11am to 1pm for service to be done. At 11:30 no sign of technician and no call from location. I called them and they said he was running behind and so I gave them an extra hour and a half (till 2:30pm) They still said this was not enough time so I offered 5-7pm. This they did not want to do. So I took a half day off of work because my job wasn't important enough for them to make sure it got done. They just cost me a couple of hundred bucks.

A week ago Saturday we opened our garage door and the entire door collapsed inward. We've been living in this house for 3 years, so we called the garage door company whose sticker was on the door, Precision Garage Door. In addition, we called a 2nd provider just for another estimate. Precision came out the very next morning and gave us a quote for an entire new door, with a total cost of $1900 with discounts. They tried to pressure us into signing a contract to have the door installed the very next morning. We weren't comfortable and still wanted to hear what the 2nd providers estimate would be. The 2nd company came out roughly 2 hours later and quoted us $1700 for a new garage door and a new motor. We were told by this company that the new motor was needed because our old motor had been working so hard to get our door up and down. This estimate was more appealing as we were getting a new door PLUS a motor for $200 less than our initial quote. Just before the 2nd company left, they then told us that we needed to pay $100 service fee for coming out to give a quote, but that it would be applied to our total bill. Unfortunately, this rubbed me the wrong way. I was never informed upfront that there was a $100 service fee to come out and give us a quote. I also found out from this company that the first company that came to give us a quote, Precision Garage Door, had been on dateline the prior year. After we didn't call Precision to go with the quote they offered, they ended up calling us again the next day to let me know their initial quote was wrong. He quoted us for an insulated door and now it was only going to be $950. At this point, I was at a loss on who to call as I was not comfortable with either of these providers. By Wednesday of this week, I was tired of ducking and dodging my neighbors with no makeup on. I mentioned to a friend at work that my garage door was broken, and she referred me to A1 Garage Door Service. They were able to give me a quote over the phone of approximately $900. They had someone out the very next morning and gave me a written estimate of $819 for a new door AND this was someone I actually trusted. He explained to me that the motor I had was an excellent Lift Master and it was in great condition. There was no need to replace it if it was still working fine, which it was. I was thrilled to finally find a company that was prompt, honest, reasonably priced, and I had no question of whether or not they were trying to take advantage of my lack of knowledge about garage doors. I would highly recommend them for any garage door service. THANK YOU A1!!!!

The service tech came out the same day. He wore a uniform and was extremely professional. He worked quickly and charged me far less than what another company had quoted. I am so impressed by the service I received that I have told many of my friends to use them and nobody else.

The Technician, Darcy, arrived on time and commenced removing all of the old garage door and replacing it with all new components except for the opener. It works just fine. I was amazed at the fact he was able to work alone and fast. Everything works great as of this writing in April 2014

Repairs were done as estimated. Cost was a little high I thought for the work done. Excellent service however by the technician Danny. He knew what he was doing and completed the work as planned. This is the second time I had used this company. they were prompt and efficient as they were the first time.

Ed, the technician was very thorough and organized. He checked everything, explained things clearly, showed me what my issues were and offered fair solutions. He did not pressure me to replace things but educated me so that the decision was easier for me to get comfortable. They are a first class operation.

The price seemed right as I had checked other places and it seemed to be fair. They were able to complete the work in one day and cleaned up well. Everything worked out well and I don't recall any problems. Overall, I was satisfied with the work that they did.

Needed to have my garage spring replaced. Arrived at my home within 2 hours of first call. Replaced spring and did lubricant entire door. Great work and very professional. And there is a lifetime warranty on the spring!

The scheduling was good. They got the job done in about an hour and just one guy came out to do the job. The cleanup was good.

Overall, we are very pleased with the work done. The doors look great and are working fine. We didn't price compare before agreeing to the terms, but a quick check a Lowes seemed to indicate the price was comparable. The punctuality problem may be due to their taking time to do the jobs right.
