Description of Work: We did not expect Darrell, the owner, to come out on a Sunday. I was trying to make an appt. for a Monday and they said it would be no extra charge to come on a Sunday from 6:30 to 7:30. He came early. We learned much more about our garage doors and we would say Darrell went beyond our expectations. He even changed out a ball bearing and did not charge extra for that. Our experience with A-Authentic Garage Door Service is as excellent as it could be with a 5 year warranty on stronger springs !! The door is now the most silent as it was when it was new. Darrell showed us the most important places to lubricate and places we did not know about. We give this service five out of five !!

Description of Work: I was going to use them for a new garage door. Young man that came to the house adjusted old door for me and then gave me a price on 3 different scenarios for replacing the door. I told him I would have to get more bids because their prices seemed high. Indeed they were compare to 2 others and even then I went to Home Depot which was even cheaper for the same 24 gauge door with upgrades and motor. Some of the information I was given by the young man for A-Authentic did not ring true for me. When some contractors come to my home they see an older lady, what they don't know is I was a Corporate Director of Facilities and Construction before I retired. I know bull when I hear it. | |To be fair, after leaving my home and calling "the owner" the young man called me and offer to install only the door for about $1,000. less then the first bid. But that offer was $500.00 more than home depot for everything.

Description of Work: I have used this company for the 9 years I have lived in AZ. The garage door replacement went well, but the painter (who they subcontract with) painted the garage door the wrong shade. The company said it would match the house. Despite my personal attempts, followed by Angie's attempt to achieve resolution, the company did not repaint, or attempt to resolve the problem. I paid an extra ~$250 for the paint service, to no avail. Very poor professionalism, I would not use this company again! This is a competitive market and one can likely find a company out there able to provide their customers with job satisfaction.

Description of Work: Nothing. I called after seeing a flyer to get service on a Saturday. The flyer showed service within 1 hour, however they could not even do it in the same day.

Description of Work: Service provider arrived promptly, and was friendly and efficient. He explained what I might do to maintain good operation of my garage door, cleaned the system and replaced minor parts. He answered several questions I had in a friendly and thorough manner, at one point stopping to demonstrate a point. I kept his card and will call them again as needed.

Description of Work: They replaced my garage door opener and the rollers on the sides. Both are of much better quality than those installed originally when the house was built. The service man was polite, professional, and willing to explain the products. I was taken aback by the price, but am very happy with the quiet door opener and digital controls.
