This was an emergency call on a Saturday, and the service tech arrived about 2 hours earlier than expected. He was very courteous and professional. He recommended installation of two springs and an additional door brace. My only issue is that after the tech left, the automatic door mechanism is not working properly and the door will not completely close. We called the tech who came back out and told us that we may have a defective motor and that the opener might require replacement at a cost of $400.00. From talking with others, not sure this is the problem, and it is most likely due to the need for an adjustment of the tension on the door which may have changed as a result of the work performed (double springs and brace).

The gentleman who set my appointment was both helpful and courteous. The repairmen arrived at 12:30 (my appointment window was between noon and 2:00) and took some time to sum up the situation and explain it to me. Apparently, that type of roller is not readily available. Thus, he had to customize what they had. The men worked a solid hour, replaced the parts, and had the problem fixed by 1:30. The following is a break-down of the bill; lower bracket ($59.95), 1 set of neoprene rollers ($89.95), service charge ($65.00), additional labor ($75.00), tax ($15.26). Is it standard to charge a $65 service charge as well as a $75 labor fee for an hour's worth of work? I didn't know. In all, I was very impressed by this company's responsiveness, punctuality, and professionalism.

I received a mailer coupon for $35 off any repair. I then checked with Angie's List to see if the vendor was a member. They were. Most customer feedback comments were very positive. I then checked with the ROC and found that no complaint's had been filed with this company. I then called Authentic. The phone representative was very couteous and professional. From the time that I called, a repairman appeared at my door within two hours. Very impressed with such responsiveness. The repairman happened to be the owner, Darrell something or other. Darrell was very professional and got right to work. The removal and replacement of the springs was accomplished in under an hour. The man knew what he was doing and was also interested in my comments about how I went about choosing his company. After completing the job, Darrell honored my $35 coupon and military discount. I actually spent more than what I had anticipated, but the end result was very satisfactory. I would use this company again.

The installer was prompt and courteous. Job was completed as promised. Installer returned within a week to adjust the door. At first there was some misunderstanding about when the job would be done. That was easily straightened out.

Repairman was on time and very informative. Explained the current as well as, potential problems and answered all the questions. Very efficient and finished the work very fast. Company representative had asked the information on the phone about current garage door and had sent the replacement with the repairman, which expedited the job. Although it did cost alot more than I had originally anticipated, due to additional repair work needed, I am sure we will not have any problems for at least 5 years (gave 5 year warranty). Garage door operation is very smooth and efficient not. I will highly recommend this company.

They came quickly. They recommended that I replace with a dual spring instead of single spring. They stated that to do this job "right" and get the 5 year warranty (instead of 30 days), that I should get the dual spring. However, my original single spring lasted me 14 years. They stated that it would take 45 minutes, but it really only took 10 minutes. If I would have known the actual time that it would take, I would have tried to negotiate a lower price.

Individual who performed the work was extremely professional. Work was completed quickly and competently. We would highly recommend this company.

One of the two springs used to raise and lower garage door broke. I called the company on Sunday afternoon, in order to leave message requesting service on Monday, but Darrell answered the phone and said he could have someone out between 6-8 that evening. Blaine, the technician, arrived on time and explained all of our options, including prices and warranty info. I decided to have both springs and all the rollers replaced. Blaine was courteous, professional, and had the job done in about an hour and on a Sunday no less. Great service!

Extremely RUDE people! Front office help should find a new job. Not only did they cut me short on questions I wanted answered, they hang up in the middle of the conversation. After calling back to express my displeasure, they harassed me by calling my house, using caller ID.

The company provided same day service. The service man (Brendan) was very polite and helpful in explaining all questions and how things worked. Darrell, the owner, was also very helpful and responsive when I encountered a minor problem.

AT FIRST, I WAS SKEPTICAL OF THE PRICE QUOTED, BUT AFTER SEARCHING AROUND, THE PRICE QUOTED WAS REASONABLE. I APPRECIATE HOW QUICKLY THE WORK WAS PERFORMED AFTER WE ENLISTED THEM. IT WAS INCONVENIENT BEING WITHOUT A GARAGE DOOR THAT WORKED.

WE CALLED ON A SUNDAY AND THEY PAGED A TECHNICIAN RIGHT AWAY. WE RECEIVED A CALL BACK IN LESS THAN A HALF HOUR THAT THE TECHNICIAN WAS ON HIS WAY AND NEEDED DIRECTIONS. IT TOOK THE TECHNICIAN LESS THAN AN HOUR TO REPAIR.

THEY HAVE GOOD SERVICE. THE COMPANY WAS RESPONSIVE AND TRIED THE MOST INEXPENSIVE FIX FIRST. THEY ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL. THEY SOLD US A NEW CLICKER FOR THE GARAGE DOOR AND BARELY CHARGED US TO PROGRAM IT.

THEY HAD THE BEST PRICING AND SERVICE 24 HOURS, SEVEN DAYS A WEEK. I LIKED THE FIVE YEAR WARRANTY GIVEN ON THE SPRINGS AND LIFETIME WARRANTY ON THE ROLLERS. I HAD TROUBLE WITH MY DOOR NOT CLOSING DOWN PROPERLY TWO MORE TIMES AND THEY COVERED THAT WITH NO EXPENSE TO ME. THEY HAVE ALWAYS BEEN ON TIME AND VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL.

THIS CALL WAS PERFORMED AS AN EMERGENCY SERVE BECAUSE WE HAD A GARAGE DOOR SPRING BREAK. THE TECHNICIAN, ROB, WAS TERRIFIC. MY NEIGHBOR HAD THE SAME PROBLEM ABOUT 2 MONTHS AFTER WE DID. I REFERRED HIM TO THIS COMPANY.

THEY ARRIVED PROMPTLY AND GOT RIGHT TO WORK. THEY EXPLAINED THE DIFFERENCES IN PRODUCTS AVAILABLE TO HELP US MAKE OUR DECISION. THEY PROVIDED UPGRADED ROLLERS AND SPRINGS WHICH I DID NOT AUTHORIZE BUT FOR WHICH THEY DID NOT CHARGE ME.

THEY CHARGED A $50.00 TRIP CHARGE EACH TIME THAT THEY HAD TO COME OUT. THEY HAD TO COME OUT THE FIRST TIME TO PERFORM THE JOB. I HAD TO CALL THEM OUT 2 WEEKS LATER BECAUSE THE DOOR CAME OFF THE TRACK. WHEN THEY CAME BACK OUT TO FIX IT I WAS CHARGED AGAIN FOR SOMETHING THAT I FELT SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE RIGHT THE FIRST TIME.

IT WAS AN EMERGENCY JOB. I PICKED THEM OUT OF THE PHONE BOOK. THEY ARRIVED WHEN THEY SAID, GAVE US THE BEST OPTIONS TO REPAIR THE PROBLEM AND WERE EXCELLENT TO DEAL WITH.
