Initial phone call handled professionally. Asked me when I would like them to arrive on the same day. I was impressed. Technician called on his way to confirm directions and arrived exactly on time. Explained repair, offered advise to avoid a future repair, and completed everything quickly and efficiently. I will definitely use A Authentic Garage Door Service again. Also found out that they have a 24 hour service. Great to know for the future. My repair came with a 5 year warranty.

My experience with them was good. They were a little pricier than I hoped. That is my only complaint. They came sooner than they said. They were very professional and did a great job. I think I could have got the job done for a better price if I had the time to shop around. The guy who came to do the work was Joe and he was very professional. He obviously knew his stuff. I have not had any issues with them. I got the unit that I wanted. I wanted it to be Chamberlain but now they are called Liftmaster. Instead of using the prior braces he put the new one.

The technician arrived promptly, replaced the spring, and advised me on additional work that I might want to consider and what my options were. I picked the option that I felt was best for me and it was taken care of promptly. He was knowledgeable, competent, completed the job quickly, accepted my coupon from Angies's list with no problem. I would definitely recommend this company and will definitely use them again if necessary.

I called mid-day to have my garage door repaired and the company was very responsive, showing up within two hours to fix the door. The technician replaced both springs ($100 each!) a center bearing with plate, and end bearing. The total cost of $371 was just for the parts- I printed the Angie's List coupon that waived the labor cost. The technician was professional and speedy, and the door seems to be working fine now- smooth and quiet. Still, I feel this job cost about 50% more than the going rate after checking online after the fact. I had the same service done on another home about two years ago for under $200, so that was the range I was expecting. My mistake was in not asking for an estimate over the phone or once the technician arrived. I've learned my lesson- always get an estimate in advance!!

We were so happy that we scheduled another appointment next week to have them insulate both garage doors.

First trip out the opener would not open and close on its own as it had done the night before. Paid for the trip out. That night the door again was opening and closing itself. I requested the same technician to replace the door. he came back the next day and replaced the opener.

They came out within 2 hours of calling, on a Sunday. Prompt. Explained the work needed and demonstrated broken parts.

An appointment was made with the office for a time and day convenient to me. The technician arrive on time and the work was done in a timely manner. The price quoted was the price charged. I found the owners of this local company pleasant to deal with and responsive to my dilemma.

Arrived right on time and inspected the garage doors. Explained to us what was needed and why. The technician was friendly but also very professional.

The man came promptly on schedule and replaced the opener in short order. It worked perfectly except that it worked only if the garage overhead light happened to be on. Informed, the co. sent the same guy back the next day and he went up the ladder and fixed it in 60 seconds. The circuitry in the garage required him to move the motor's plug from one slot to the next, a first for him.

We called and they said they could be here in 4 hours ON A SATURDAY. They did run late but I gave them and A because they called before their scheduled time was up and explained that the previous job had taken longer than expected. The gentleman was professional and courteous and FAST! He fixed everything with a 5 yr warranty in less than 30 minutes.

They were efficient, and they were reasonably priced. We had a good experience with them, and everything was excellent. The guy who did the work for us was really good. He explained everything to us. I would recommend them to other people.

I went with this company because they were the lowest of three bids and are A rated on Angies list. I really needed only 1 door, but they were so old, a match was impossile. They gave me a special price for both doors.

They were very prompt, professional and very good.

The door is working alright again, but I did think the price was on the high side. The experience was fine otherwise; I would give them an A. I would look around more in the future before hiring him again.

Got home from work and the garage door wouldn't open. Springs had broken. Called the company at about 3pm expecting to have to wait a day or two, but they were able to schedule it at 6pm that night. Serviceman arrived promptly. He was very friendly and answered all my questions. Work was done swiftly and thoroughly. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Would definitely recommend this company.

I called at 5:30 on Saturday evening. Initially was told that they could have someone come on Sunday AM. When I mentioned that we were stuck in the house because the door was off the tracks, she said that she would have someone come tonight between 6:30 and 7:30. The man arrived at 6:15 and did the work quickly and completely.

About 2pm on a Friday, the garage door spring system self-destructed. No idea why, but it was a problem as my car was in the garage and the door could not be opened. I called the company whose "sticker" was on the door, and they tried to make an appointment for Monday afternoon! Found A-Authentic on Angie's List. Called them, and Scott was at my door before 4pm. Job was done by 6pm. The only question would be whether or not the springs actually needed to be replaced. I have no reason to doubt the statement that "we can't retention old springs, it's dangerous" in light of the professionalism of the job. Seems a shame though. The door is clearly pretty new (but predates our buying the house 2.5 year back.)

They told us that there were several things wrong with the garage door also and wanted to charge quite a bit for this service and because of this we had them just fix the opener. We had to call them back because the garage door opener would not go back up when it hit something. After a conversation, they said they would go back out there. After talking with our renter, they called her up and she stood on a chair and they told her what to do to make it work. I thought that was rather strange.

GREAT! I called at about 8:30 this morning and they said they would send someone out between 9:30 AM and 10:30 AM. Their worker, Ricky, arrived about 10:20 AM. He was finished with the job in 45 minutes. He did and great job and cleaned up his things. He showed me what he had done and told me about the guarantee. I even got a $35 discount for being a member of Angie's List!

GREAT JOB! We moved in the house several months ago and suspected the ex-wife had held onto one of the remotes (she lives about two doors down and across the street). At times the door would open for no reason. Yesterday as we were decorating for Christmas outside -the door began acting like something from the Exorcist. I called the first chance I had today and problem solved by 6pm! Friendly tech-efficient and best of all no more door openings by the bitter ex-wife!

What else can you say but fabulous. I was so pleased because I instilled all of my trust in them to go and correct the situation and they did it with flying colors. I would definitely recommend them to anyone . They are a great reasonable and reliable company.

I called Labor Day at 8:30 AM and was told I would have someone between 9:00AM and 10:00AM. He was here before 10. He inspected the door and said no problem, it could be repaired, much to my surprise. He started to straighten the door and get the rollers back in the track. One of the tracks was totally bend, due to the pressure from the door coming down crooked. He told me that side rail needed to be replaced. He left to get some parts and was back in about an hour. Replaced the side rail and put new rolls with longer stems on, to prevent it coming off track again. He inspected the springs that has just recently been replaced. Said they were much to weak for the door, so I had him replace them. WOW, I have never had such a quiet door. WOW, I think it may last a long time this time. I now have a 5 year guarantee also. The repairman was very nice too. I recommend this company!!!!!

I called them at 6:30 in the morning on a Wednesday and they had someone out by 8:45 that same morning. An hour later it was fixed and that was that. They were responsive, prompt, very professional, and courteous.
