A Authentic Garage Door Service

The person arrived on time and proceeded to start removing old sealant on garage door. After replacing new sealant, he proceeded to install the keyless entry keypad. He was efficient and courteous.

Discovered weak spring; replaced. Lubed all rollers, replaced two. Re-wired door opener.

The technician that came out was not aware of the Angies List coupon, although the office was when service was scheduled. The technician called and provided estimates on all items that needed to be done, including items on the Angies List but also some additional items beyond the coupon. For ALL services, the quote was for $349. When I told him about the coupon, he recalculated and said that the additional services would be $270. By this calculation, the Angies services were valued at $70 -- LESS THAN WHAT I PAID FOR THE COUPON! When I challenged him on this as not making any sense, his comment was basically, "it is what it is". So the coupon value was GROSSLY MISREPRESENTED! If the services were truthfully represented in the coupon, then the original quote of $349 should have been reduced by $199. Had I not received the retail quote for all services, I would never have known this. I would absolutely NOT recommend this contractor. And would NOT recomment Anglies coupon.

Service went great the tech was knowledgeable, professional and courteous and performed all work as expected although I was not happy about the fact that he did not understand how the Angie's list coupon worked and he ended up charging me for the service I had already got the coupon for so I now had to spend time call the office to reimburse me which was a great time waster and not pleasant!

We had a smooth journey through Angie's list and on to the repair service we finally chose. The Vendor/repair service advertised a very reasonably-priced ($89.95) maintenance visit that included some parts replacement, tightening and lubrication (package deal) for the garage door service call. The door was not malfunctioning in any way and has always worked well (7 years old, but not used much for about three of those years). The door was getting a bit "rattlely" and noisy and definitely needed some service but there was no indication that any repairs or major parts were necessary. The repairman came on time and dealt with us in a pleasant and polite way. He looked over the unit and within 20 minutes or so he concluded that the door needed to have the main spring/s and other parts replaced and the cost shot up from the initial attractive $89.95 service charge to over $500.00 dollars in parts and labor. As I see it, It obviously would not have hurt the door's operation if we'd gone the whole nine yards, BUT I just felt the experience was leaning too close to the old bate and switch tactic and the apparent condition of the door definitely did not seem to merit such a dramatic increase in what the technician said the door needed and of course in the $$$ the repairman was asking for the work he was proposing. The young technician was polite and willing to let things go when I refused the further work, but I did not feel good about the overall procedure and, as I have said, especially where things went financially speaking. I don't think I'll call on this vendor again. For what it's worth, the door continues to function well two months later.

He showed up on time and was very prepared to complete the job. He was honest in what else needed to be repaired and quickly got that completed as well. We needed both weather strips replaced on both the doors, he only had enough to do one door, but told me the other door was not bad enough to replace and could just be cleaned off.

Quick and easy install. I asked if the installer could take a look at the system, as it is noisy when opens and closes, and was wiling to pay extra, but he didn't,t seem very motivated.

We thought it was average - nothing special and was performed rather quickly.

Not good customer service. You know, I have worked in customer service my whole career and I have lived in my home for 13 years, so I have had many services performed.

Recently, I submitted an "F" review for A Authentic because, through Angie's List, I was charged $89.00 for no service. On 6/3 I was contacted by the owner of the company who came to the house and made repairs to the door. There was an additional charge for labor (perfectly acceptable) and now the garage door is better than new! The attention to detail and the follow up provided by this business owner gives them an A+ rating and our thanks!

They were on time. They did what they were supposed to do. They checked and adjusted the lift so it wouldn't hit the motor. They sprayed all the wheels, the hinges, and the springs. It was very helpful.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It worked out very well. The guy was very helpful. He gave me some suggestions on maintenance and those kinds of things. They were excellent.

Purchased a Big deal for Authentic Garage Door Service Co to service the garage door. The gentleman was fantastic, he was little early for the appointment, very professional. He explained some issues with me and I had them fixed also.

He was fabulous. He was efficient, knowledgeable, and while he was working our neighbor showed up and he asked him to reprogram his garage opener and he zipped over and did that for him no problem.

They were very courteous and helpful. The technician, Scott, looked at the system and said there wasn't anything that needed to be done. I would definitely use them in the future. I appreciate their honesty and professionalism!

I did this above. It started with my purchasing a remote garage door opener and I found they would not work with my outdated motors. Replaced both and was extremely happy with the service, price, and clean up even if it was more than I thought I would be paying for it is a relief to know that the motors are new and safe plus I love my remote entry!!!!

He was punctual, respectful, professional, and very helpful in giving me advice on maintaining my garage door and the motor, and he didn't try to 'upsell'. I appreciated his suggestions and his pleasant attitude. He answered all of my questions completely and explained what heing clearly.
