Peter was awesome. He reviewed everything and fixed the problem efficiently. Very professional. Just excellent. Will use them to replace my garage door when the time comes.

David was prompt, knowledgeable, and very professional. He showed me why I needed new springs by having me try to lift my garage door by hand. I couldn't do it, but after the new springs my granddaughter can do it. He lubricated the bearings, replaced all the rollers, and now it works like brand new. I also had a problem where the support for the garage door rails was coming out of the ceiling, it wouldn't tighten. It needed to be moved, and David did that as well. Overall I am very pleased with this company and with David in particular.

The woman who scheduled the appointment on the phone, talked really fast and kept putting me on hold. My expectations for the company were lowered because of this. I was pleasantly surprised that they had appointments available on Saturdays. Peter was our installer and he was AWESOME! We needed springs replaced on one of our garage doors, and we also purchased an Angie's List deal for 2 garage door tune-ups. The technician was on time and called when he was on his way. He did the work promptly, used common sense, and had a professional demeanor. Our existing garage door units were the quiet style, but over time they had slowing become louder. The tune-up included installing new nylon rollers with bearings. This improved the sound reduction of the garage door opening/closing. The bedroom above our garage is a baby nursery, so this was especially important to us. The following Monday I realized that the remotes in our cars didn't work. I called the company and they said that they would have Peter call me back. Peter had already left work for the day and was headed home, but since he lives nearby, he detoured and stopped by our house. He fixed the problem quickly, apologized for the problem (it was a weird fluke that had never happened to him before). I would definitely use Peter again, with A Authentic Garage Door Service.

Repairman explained all the options. No sales pitch - just very matter of fact. Replaced only what was necessary. he had all the materials on his truck so repairs completed on initial trip.

The two gentlemen arrived on time. They were friendly and professional and started on the job right away. They performed the job well and there were no extra charges that I had to pay aside from the Angie's List fee. My garage door goes up and down just like new thanks to A Authentic Garage Door Service. Did a nice job on the coupon and provided a reasonable cost for additional work.

showed up one time. explained what he was going to do and let me know if there was any problems. this was on a 99.00 special which said they would change all rollers , which he did. When finished he gave me a report that the unit was old but working and all safety features we working. Suggest that if unit crashed to replace it with a belt unit instead of chain unit.. over all they did what the special said.

When the late technician arrived he immediately told me my door openers needed replacement and wanted to upsell me without looking at the unit. He was pushing his brand of opener, and just happened to have them on his truck. I wanted the roller inspection and replacement deal only. Then after he was told I did not need the new openers, he gave me a doom and gloom speech about he spring was ready to go. He spent 10 minutes to tighten up the spring, it was only loose. At the end he hit me for $150 beyond the roller special which I prepaid. Buyer beware of hard sell, upsell and overstating.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it was good. They came out with a couple of days after I purchased the deal. The technician who came out was very professional, friendly and helpful. He gave me a good assessment and feedback, which is part of the deal. He talked about the whole history of the garage door, itself, and gave me his opinion on what it looked like and whether it looked like it needed to be replaced anytime soon. He gave me a rough cost estimate, so it was good to get that feedback. It was included as part of the deal.

The installer called ahead and arrived earlier than scheduled. The change worked out well. He went out of his way to provide me with the best remote for my needs. He called other repairmen to check on the availability of the remote that could program both doors. He discovered that he had a new one in his truck that could do both doors. He completed the job and I was very satisfied with his work.

I was very happy with the service, and will call them again when work is needed on the garage doors.

It turned out fine. They were great. I don't think they came out the same day, I think we scheduled it for the time that was convenient for me in small window and I think they got here fine. I think what I liked about him is he was straightforward. We talked about other things I could do with the door, but he was real honest, he didn't try and sell me anything that I didn't need. I would use them again if I need.

Great! Ended up doing a premimum upgrade from bearings, springs, replaced both garage door openers. Now my door is super quiet, I can actually open garage door with 1 touch from down the street. Chris was very pleasant, helpful and professional.

The garage door lift was malfunctioning. The technician replaced the rollers and straightening the infrared sensors so that the garage door lift works every time.

The technician arrived on time. He diagnosed the problem, realigned the garage door opener so there was no torque, replaced the rollers, and adjusted the door action. He completed the work in less than an hour, cleaned up thoroughly, explained what he'd done, and asked if I had any questions. We have used this company for all our garage door needs, but it was nice to find them on Angie's List.

Technician Scott was incredible! My old garage door was squeaky and clanking. Instead of telling me I needed a new (expensive) garage door he said all you need is for me to tune it up, adjust it, and replace two worn rollers. Total cost under $100. Replacing the worn rollers wasn't easy due to their age but he knew exactly what to do. Personable, skilled, and most of all trustworthy and honest. What else could you ask for? They are the best!!!

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It went very well. It was a very nice young man that came. I paid an additional charge for the services he provided. We called and they were very prompt, they were great making the appointment, very pleasant and polite. But the young man that came was just great I did call the company and let them know that he was a very nice kid and that we really enjoyed having him here and that we would call them again if we had problems with the door. Their pricings are very competitive with everyone else but he gave us a discount and I think he threw in the installation of the bottom door for free or something.
