A Authentic Garage Door Service

A new manual garage door opener was installed and programmed with my chosen 4 digit code in less than 10 minutes.

They did great--no complaints.

Installed keyless entry pad & door inspection. All was great other than they were to call me & didn't so I called them. After that they were very responsive

We backed into the garage door and bent the lower two panels so the door wouldn't open. We couldn't get our car out to go to work that morning. We found A-Authentic on Angie's List after the company that installed our Costco-purchased garage door (Open Sesame) failed to answer their phones or call us back in a timely manner. A-Authentic answered their phones on the 2nd ring and scheduled the appointment for 1 hour later. The technician called 15 minutes after our original phone call and discussed the situation with us. When he learned what kind of door we had and the type of damage, he said they'd send the repairman who specializes in that type of door and that type of repair work. The technician arrived on time and was very professional. He inspected the damage and used his cell phone to order the necessary parts. He learned that the local distributor didn't have the exact parts we needed (we have an insulated door and they only had non-insulated panels in stock). He ordered the non-insulated panels, promising us he'd save us money by re-using the insulation from our damaged panels. The insulation was not damaged and he would have thrown it away anyway. He left to pick up the materials from the distributor. The repairman called an hour later and said he had the panels and would meet a second repairman at our home in an hour. The second repairman got here first and disassembled the damaged door and carefully removed the insulation. The two guys worked quickly and we were able to use our garage door again in a matter of hours! When they installed the new non-insulated panels, the repairmen noticed that the non-insulated panels were not the same quality as the insulated panels. When they called the distributor, the distributor said they'd order the correct panels from the company at no cost to us. A-Authentic scheduled a second visit to replace the panels for one week later. In the meantime, we could still use our garage door. Three days later, A-Authentic called to schedule the re-installation of the insulated door panels. The day of the re-installation, two repairmen arrived on time and didn't leave until the door was in "like new" condition. No extra cost to us for the second visit or the new, insulated panels. We would highly recommend A-Authentic for your next garage door and for any garage door repair work. They might be a bit more expensive, but you get what you pay for! We are very, very happy that we called A-Authentic Garage Door Service Company!

The gentleman was very professional, arrived on time, and was quite helpful. He also helped me to program my garage door opener and pointed out some issues that could turn into problems in the future.

Great! My Angie's deal included roller replacement and Peter said I didn't even need them. So he left the rollers with me and I will give them to a family member and hire this company to install them when she is ready. I even realized that it was A-Authentic that serviced my garage door in 2010 and they did and excellent job then too.

The gentleman actually arrived early! He was very personable and made sure the model remote he had would work with my door. He set it up, had me program my security code and installed it outside the garage door. We tested it and it worked! I'm thrilled! He oiled parts of my garage door springs and made sure everything was working properly. I am very please with their service, professionalism, and price. I would not hesitated to use them again and recommend them to my friends.

The service was done professionally and I would recommed this company. It is a little more expensive than I wanted to pay but having it done by a professional was worth it to me.

Never once heard from the vendor or Angie's list even though I've made several attempts to schedule

Called for the spring repair about 7:30AM and he was here at 8. Was willing to do just the spring but suggested an overhaul due to the age. At first it felt like an upsell but as the door came apart I could see the bearing wear and some plastic parts. The door is over 18 years so this should save me trouble down the road. Rob knew his stuff and was done by 9.

This place ROCKS!!! I called at 8.30 this morning and he was out at 10. Was told between 10-11. Now that was prompt!!! He came out and told me exactly what was wrong and was in and out by 10.38. Best customer service I have received in a long time. I will definitely use them again and refer them. Thanks SOOO much!!

A Authentic was supposed to call me within 2-3? business days to set up an appointment. They never called and I had already paid with my credit card. I sent 2 reminder notices through angies email that I assume went to the provider, and they still never called. Several weeks of waiting and I finally called them. They seemed to have all my information, so I was surprised they seemed to ignore it and not contact me. If I hadn't called I probably would still be waiting today!! So they responded quickly once I called them.. The unit was installed quickly even though the technician was missing the proper drill bit he needed. He also gave me a very quick assessment of my existing garage door unit, everything was fine... and he left in a hurry. The workmanship was fine, the technician was relatively professional but hurried for some reason and everything now ok. I might use them again based only on the many good reviews but the scheduling snafu was very inconvenient.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was fine. It ended up being a bigger job than it started because I had the steel rollers instead of the plastic ones but I was very happy with them. I was happy with the quality of their work. They were open and upfront in explaining what they were going to do and what they suggested I do. They were here on time and they finished the job pretty quickly. They came in less than a week after I purchased the deal. I would absolutely use them again.

One of our rental homes had a major failure with the garage door opener over the weekend. I contacted A Authentic Garage Door at about 10:30 Monday morning. They had a technician onside within 2 hours and the repairs were made within 90 minutes of their onsite arrival. The technician had all necessary parts on his truck - no waiting. The responsiveness/professionalism was great. The technician explained everything thoroughly and the tenants are happy. I rated quality N/A because I have yet to inspect the work myself - however, I assume the quality is excellent. My tenants indicated that the door is working better than ever. In addition the company provided a 5 year warranty.

I LIKED THE PART OF WHAT TO BE AWARE OF IN THE FUTURE

Overall happy with work performed. The price of the install was a bit high ($500.00) but perhaps ordering a new panel for the garage door might of been a lot more but since this was my first home not sure if this was accurate or not.

Very quick and gave us great feedback on what we would need to watch for in the future for repair and gave us estimate of what the cost would be. Most importantly, no pressure for sales or service. Very professional.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It worked out well. They were prompt and efficient. They did quality work. The price of the Big Deal was $89 so I paid additional to have the repairs. They came the same day that I purchased the deal. I didn't shop around for prices.

Very good service. Technician arrived on time and was very professional. He pointed out a couple of things to keep an eye on before my next service.

He was here on time and replaced the old rollers on the garage door and did the tune up. The garage door was very noisy and now it is quite and goes up and down easier. We have a one car and a two car garage door, he discovered the builder reversed the openers. We were given a price to fix the problem. Have not done it yet but thought the price was fair.

Absolutely great. They were just here last Saturday and they did very well. I would call them again. I didn't call them until Friday. She said, "Well, we can come out this afternoon." I said, "No, you can't." because I had things going on. She said, "Well, how about Saturday?" I said, "In the morning!" They were out there. She said between 8 and 9 and they were here by 8:15. They did exactly what they were supposed to do. They didn't try to sell me anything. They were on time. They were prompt. They did their job and left.

Not good at first. We had to call the owner who promptly came out to fix the problem. He went out of his way to make it right and we really appreciated the great customer service.
