We were living in house at time of service. We have two little kids and Cary Shoap and his team made sure our home was liveable and safe throughout the process. They were extremely clean and there was no damage to our brand new flooring. Most importantly the quality of their painting was excellent. Cary prides himself on only using the best paints for each individual job. No cheap paint or watering it down. We could not be happier. A few months later we hired Shoap Painting to paint all of our cabinets and wood work. The result was similar, high quality and great value. Cary is a pleasure to work with!

Cary came out to give a bid, was very punctual. He looked at the home and we had a bid that afternoon. Cary is a great guy, very personable and we felt completely comfortable hiring him for the job. We are out of town owners and Cary kept us up to date on the progress and let us know when it was completed. He also did a couple of extra repairs for us with no extra charge.

Attempted to contact 5/19 on phone no answer. Left message on phone on 5/20, never got answer. Left schedule reuqest thru Angie List 5/24 no response. Did the same calls or requests last week with 2 other painting companies and received return calls that day and estimates the next day. After showing up early for the walkthrough and estimate.\, they sent me the formal estimate earlier than promised. That night rather then next day. The estimate was detailed accurate and very professional. There estimate was more money than 2 of their competitors which is why we did not go with them. They were great to deal with when we did get together. For my needs, they were higher cost. I would give them a chance again in the future.

Cary was responsive to getting us an estimate and was able to get us into his schedule very quickly. The crew arrived each day on time and worked as a team to get the tasks completed. The house is transformed and alive with the fresh paint and new colors. Cary and the crew were very easy to work with and we will defintely use them again.

From the time we first met Cary to the end of all out painting functions, we were totally amazed of the person, the product, and the overall experience. Cary was totally focused on our satisfaction, his crew carried out that same theme during the projects and it didn't stop after the job was completed. I guess anyone can make a mistake, but I didn't make a mistake using this company and this crew. They are MY painting crew forever. They should be yours. Quality of work...great. If you're looking for the BEST in interior painting, look no further. Shoap Interior Works and Painting is the one to choose. Cary, the owner, came to the house to give us an estimate for the job. He was very personable, professional, arrived on time, and gave us a very reasonable bid. We interviewed four other companies for the job, but selecting Shoap Interior Works and Painting was the obvious choice. We actually made a couple of last minute changes in regard to how many colors we wanted to use and the amount of rooms we were having done. This posed no problem for Cary and the crew. They had no issue adjusting to the changes. The crew arrived on time both mornings of the project. They began by covering all of our furniture and flooring. Then the painting began. The crew worked extremely hard the entire time, were able to get most of the project completed on the first day, and finished the job on day two. Cary and the crew "Lead" Chapo kept us constantly informed of the progress being made and the work yet to be done. They patched and textured all drywall issues including two that were rather large. You can't even tell where those problems were anymore. The crew were all very polite and courteous, and cleaned up incredibly at the project's end. The results in our home are remarkable. It is an extremely professional job that just looks beautiful. We could not be happier! Do yourself a favor and call Cary to come out and give you an estimate. You'll probably end up hiring him and believe me, you'll be glad that you did!!

First of all -- Cary is an awesome guy. I called him and he came out and gave us an estimate on very short notice. His price was overly reasonable ($630 including everything) to paint the interior of our 3 car garage and patch some drywall that I damaged when I was removing shelves and cabinets from the garage. We've dealt with other painting companies before. Cary's company is light years ahead of the competition when it comes to being on time, being professional, and attention to detail. During the estimate Cary identified all areas that he would be painting, any areas that he wasn't going to touch, and just overall gave a great detailed approach that we've never received from prior painters. When it came to doing the work, Cary's team were on-time, professional, great at communicating, and had great attention to detail. They didn't miss anything, and the garage was perfect when I came home from work. Their team cleaned up well -- I didn't find any left over garbage or material from the job. Over all -- the project took about one half of a business day, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the work performed. We will use Cary's team in the future when we're ready to re-pain the interior and exterior of our home.

I called and left a message for Cary Shoap to call me back for an estimate. My call was returned promptly, we scheduled a time, and Cary showed up on time. He gave me a verbal rough estimate of preparing and painting the trim work of the home, and followed up his verbal estimate with a written estimate by email the same day. Cary is much more than just a another guy with painting equipment and a crew painting interiors and exteriors of homes. He makes it his business to know the differences between paint brands, how they are made, and how the components of the paint affect the longevity and adhesion of the paint to the surface allowing him to stand by his work. Cary knows about the qualities of the brands of paint and can advise which brand is best for the situation. The crew, a father and son team, showed up on time accompanied by Cary who made sure they knew what to do before he when on to another site. I immediately had confidence in the father and son, because the father had painted many of the homes in the HOA when they had been originally built in 1995, and the tailgate of his truck was not covered in multiple colors of spilled paint. The tailgate was clean. They did an excellent job preparing and painting the trim. They cleaned up afterwards so the area was cleaner than when they started. Before they left after completion, they asked me to inspect the painting and clean up. They even replace a burn out floodlight high up on the rear of the home. A few days later, Cary scheduled to do a final walk through with me present. He was running late and called to let me know he would be a little late. I painted homes many years ago and do not give out recommendations for painting unless they meet or exceed the quality of professionalism that was demanded of me when I was part of a painting crew that worked on high end properties. I'm too old to be climbing around on ladders scraping and painting anymore. Cary Shoap and his crew meet and exceed. I could not ask for anything beyond the professional experience I had from start to finish. I highly recommend you contact Cary Shoap for any interior or exterior painting being considered.

WOW! Cary came out to the house on Friday, March 7th. He had his crew prep my house on Saturday, they came out on Monday and Tuesday and got it all sprayed! Getting me closer to moving in! I went out there to meet with him on Wednesday. The instant I walked in the door, I was just overwhelmed with joy...it's absolutely amazingly beautiful!!! I would suggest, recommend and reuse this company anytime! God Bless!

Very professional and courteous. The guys were on time each day and worked hard to get the job done on time. They were very flexible with how they worked....they were able to work around our movers without a hitch. Pricing was fair given the job. Cary is very honest and takes pride in his work. I would call on these guys again.

THESE GUYS ARE GOOD! Quality workmanship and ultimate professionalism. I cannot say enough positive things about my experience with Cary, Alerio, Angel and crew. The entire crew did a fantastic job and they were a pleasure to work with. Cary was on sight every day, if not multiple times per day, to oversee progress and he was most helpful addressing any questions or concerns I offered. Alerio and Angel, specifically deserve special call out as they were skilled painting professionals who were extremely punctual, clean, courteous, and they truely delivered top quality results, for which I am most pleased. I plan to use Shoap for my next paint project and I will recommend them to others.

Mr. Shoap scheduled an appointment within a couple of hours window, then called to attempt to reschedule because he said he had a cancellation. I told him I wanted to stay with the original time which he did. When he arrived and I told him what I wanted done, he told me how he would go about making the estimate. I said I wanted to ask him about his company and asked whether all his painters were employees of his company. He responded that they were and said he wouldn't have the great reviews if he didn't. To test his assertion, I asked if he provided them all with W-2s, I evidently touched a nerve because he became defensive and suggested that was an "inappropriate" question. At that point, because of his defensiveness and obvious desire to avoid answering my simple question, I ended the meeting. Mr. Shoal is, in my opinion, an arrogant and abrasive man who may well provide good paintwork for his customers. He was quite uncomfortable discussing the nature of his worker's relationship to his company. Anyone who tells me my question in this regard is "inappropriate" is clearly hiding something. What is very appropriate is the old saying "Buyer beware."

I am so pleased with the work, responsiveness, and professionalism exhibited by Cary Shoap. He fit me into an already tight schedule due to a pending home listing and was able to perform it in the time scheduled. As an out of state owner he made sure to keep me informed every step of the way. His ability to patch a large wall where mirriors had been glued and then pulled off was amazing, you would have never known there was an issue with the wall. I would not hesitate to recommend or use Cary Shoap again!

After calling a few other top-rated painters that seemed to be a bit too busy (2 weeks out for a quote!), I called Shoap Interior Works. I talked to Cary who was able to meet me a few days later. He was very personable and knowledgeable. The quote was in the arena of what we were expecting, and we were in a hurry to get the home painted and on the market as soon as possible - so we went ahead and scheduled it. Cary was able to accommodate our timeline. He was also able to assist this ambivalent home-seller with choosing a neutral color for the home. The job itself also went well. It took approximately 3 days. The workers cleaned up after themselves and left the house looking freshly painted which is exactly what we wanted. They also did some minor drywall work that turned out really well. Detail-wise, they took care of everything: inside of closets, floor and door trim, and they removed all outlets/door handles, replacing them after painting. I would definitely recommend them.

Cary and his crew were outstanding! The house looks amazing. I appreciated how neat and clean they left everything after each day. There wasn't a drop of paint or overspray anywhere. I would highly recommend them!

My wife and I are still deciding on when to pull the trigger on the project (wallpaper removal, texture, and paint) but nonetheless, I wanted to provide Cary a review as his professionalism stood out above the other contractors we contacted. I would recommend Cary for any painting job you had and will definitely use his services when we decide to start the work in our home.
