Manny's Appliance Repair

Manny’s responded quickly and scheduled me for the next morning. They arrived on time. They evaluated the issues with my refrigerator and we opted not to fix it due to the cost. Manny‘s was professional and a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend them!

They advised me that the compressor was still under manufacturers original warranty. They charged me for the service call but I had it fixed by LG. They could have charged me for a new compressor but thankfully they were honest.

Honest assessment that machine was not worth repairing , so no charge.

Tech needed to get correct part. My fridge is a older model and he had to tract down part. He found one in Tempe picked it up the next day and made me his first stop. Arthur followed through with what he said he was going to do and I appreciated it.

Repairman walked in and said it could only be one of two things (before he even looked at it). He quickly looked at the dishwasher and said it was the waterpump. The machine is a Bosch dishwasher, only 5 years old and not worth fixing. (???) He was in and out so quickly I feel it hardly warranted paying a service fee. I used them based on the other good reviews..

Well. He came when he said he would and did the job well.

It went great. The Eech asked if I had a new garbage disposal installed recently. The answer was yes. My son-in-law installed it for me and failed to knock a drain plug out. The tech did that and then cyclied the dishwasher to insure it worked properly.

The oven turned out to be dead. I will have to find a new oven. The repairman was very helpful and honest. I will definitely keep Manny's Appliances on my "go to" list. I highly recommend them.

Sabino quickly identified the problem and provided excellent service. He was polite and kept the work area clean. Awesome! Great technicians, friendly, courteous and really quick. I appreciate that they didn't have to come back, and completed the job that day. It was a great thing they do about asking for model numbers, etc ahead of time. Smart!! The price for the repair was much lower than I thought it would be. I would recommend Manny's to anyone. I was very pleased with the work that was done. The technician was very pleasant and professional. He diagnosed the problem immediately and was able to correct the problem in a very short time. He also took additional steps to help prevent the problem from occurring again. I was pleased with the price that was charged for their service. The technician even took time to answer a question I had about another appliance that I have.

We have a good experience. They gave us a time frame and put on that time frame. They were able to fix the problem.

Great!. Michael, the technician, was awesome from beginning to end. Did what he said he would do in a timely and polite manner. We had a non-Angie's List contractor come the first time and they couldn't help us out and said we needed a new oven. Glad we met Michael and used Manny's as a second option/opinion. They will be our first option next time. Carmen, the scheduler was professional and helpful too.

Jorge did a great job getting our ice maker back up and running. It was 10 yrs old and needed to be replaced with a new unit. He did not have that unit on his truck but went right to a parts supplier locally and got the exact unit needed. He had the repair finished in a few hours and we now have ice again - hooray! He was very courteous and kept us informed of the progress of the repair and was able to give us an exact estimate so we could make a decision regarding the repair. Will definitely use this company again if needed.

This company is totally unethical. I needed the springs replaced on my oven door and they quoted me $495. I asked the repairman why it cost so much and he told me the reason is because he had so much work to do in taking the entire door apart to install the springs. He comes back a few days later and installs the springs in 15 minutes. I was expecting him to take hours to install based on what he told me was involved in replacing the springs. I asked for a breakdown on how much I was paying for parts and how much for labor and he refused to give that to me. He told me that the parts for my oven are expensive and that the shipping is very expensive too. I looked the parts up online after he left and they cost $84. So basically he was charging me $400 for 15 minutes of work. He starts trying to argue with me that he had been there longer than 15 minutes. I told him multiple times to take the springs out and to leave my home and each time he didn't. He offered to drop the price to $395. I told him that is still a ripoff. He ultimately offered to drop it to $350. I finally paid him $350 just to get him out of my house. I would never use this company again.

Scheduled appointment on 2/23 for 9 a.m - 1 p.m. and they didn't show up on time. We had to call them to see if they were coming. When they did, the repair was going to cost $400. We scheduled an appointment to come back so they could order the part for Friday the next week. We had to rearrange our schedules to make sure we were home. Friday when he was suppose to come out, we get a call they don't have the part. They can come on Saturday morning. When he showed up Saturday morning, he pulled out the oven and microwave. They said they couldn't fix it because of not being enough wire. We MUST call an electrician. I was a bit frustrated at that point and asked him wasn't that his job to figure this out before hand. The tech was so rude and said you don't think I don't have rent to pay. We called the electrician out. The electric company wanted to have them come out the same time. We tried several times for them to come. They NEVER returned our calls back. (Which actually was a blessing anyways.) When the electrician came out, we told him what the issue was, he looked at it and said there is enough wiring. He pulled it out. He suggested we get another person to come out because it was obvious they didn't know what they were doing. We decided after such poor service and their recommendation to do it. We had another company come out and they looked it. The problem was not what Manny Appliance Repair said and it was only $99 to fix!

Excellent service by Technician Arthur. I received nothing but professionalism from the first call to the receptionist to set up appointment. They were very prompt and got back to me immediately. Prior to contacting them I called numerous contractors on Angie’s list who would not even return my call. One said he was busy but would get back to me and he never did. Arthur went above and beyond and ensured my filters were cleaned. Very courteous, trustworthy and professional. The best! I will use again for all my appliance repair.

I got a $95 quote for the job over the phone, however, the technician charged me $195 because he said it was a time consuming job, he changed the boot seal in only 23 minutes. After the job was complete he then told me that his company would not provide a warranty on the work performed because I provided the seal. This company should be dropped from Angie's List ASAP, before they take advantage of another homeowner.

Asked for someone to check seperate filter and ice maker. He arrived and said that he did not work on filters. Poured water into ice maker and said to call him the next day. Then charged me $55.

Called them to organize a same day visit. They scheduled 2-4 PM with the agreement that they will call 30 min before arrival. Technician did not call. I called the company asking where they are. Took them 30 min to call back whith the tech arriving late at around 4:30 PM. The technician upon arrival kept saying that he though he would be home already. When the technician was talking about the price they asked for a $200 deposit. my wife texted 10min later that we will just get a new fridge. The tech said he cant refund the deposit. he said tech will talk to his boss so they will just charge him just $55 for the visit. and not the $200. UPDATE 11/6/18: Company reached out to us on Nov 6 to change the amount we paid to $55 and are reimbursing $145.

Before I even had a chance to look at the list shown on Angie's List my phone rang. I scheduled an appointment. It never thrills is to have a 4 hour window for the repair tech but it they call about 30 min before arrival. The tech was great. Isolated the problem. There was no part in stock and had to be ordered. The tech came back when part came in. Fixed it quickly, cleaned up everything and put machines back in place. He was efficient, knowledgeable and pleasant. Explained everything, went over warranty and the bill. I will certainly use Manny's again.
