I was having problems with dirt in the water lines and banging in the pipes.I called and talked with a very professional receptionist who was able to set up an appointment for the next day. Their plumber, Jon came on time, identified himself and was clean and neat. Jon listened to what I had to say before doing anything. He then started checking toilets, and pipes. He was able to find an air lock and was able to tell me that due to the construction in the area dirt was getting into the pipes.It is nice to have a company that is honest.

I was absolutely sure my old house needed to have galvanized pipes replaced with copper. I was wary -- I've had exeriences with other providers who were not trustworthy. I called to get an estimate, and my guard was up. Jon was at the address in a matter of hours, a little ahead of the promised time. I was very embarrassed when he told me no work was needed (the galvanized pipes were gas-pipes...my copper water lines were hidden). I felt pretty silly, and wanted to ask him to do some other work as soon as possible. All he said was, "Write a nice review, if you have time, and give us another chance when you need something." You can believe me when I tell you that J & H will get my business in the future.

They were very cordial and fast. They were great. They were easy to work with. Everything worked out well.

Great experience. Water heater conked out for the second time in six months, likely due to a defective thermostat. Since it was already seven years old, I opted to replace it. Called that morning and J&H was able to send their plumber, Paul, out to the house the same day. Great installation job -- Paul was meticulous and very clean. Heater actually came in below quote because the receptionist quoted me for a different model heater -- talk about honesty!

We chose them because of their record on Angie's List. I would use him again in the future.

Paul was prompt, cheerful and he came prepared. There was no going back to get parts or rescheduling. He came the same day I called. He came, he fixed the problem, and the price was reasonable. I will use J&H again.

We needed to get a 15 year old 75 gallon water heater, that had been built in to a cabinet off the garage removed and replaced. J&H Plumbing had already looked at the old unit last year so I contacted them via e-mail to get an updated quote. We got a very competitive quote for a basic water heater however we wanted to get a high efficiency, condensing water heater installed. We shared all related information about the unit, venting, etc. we had with them via e-mail however they seem to be extremely busy during this time of the year and consequently it took some time and telephone follow-ups to finally get to a quote for a higher efficiency unit. However the unit quoted did not match the specifications for the one we wanted to install, also the price for the job, in comparison to other quotes we had now was 30% higher so we opted to go with a different company.

They did a very good job. They are clean, and the toilets looked beautiful. The workmanship was tidy, and no mess was left.

A very good experience overall. Setting up the appointment was easy, and Paul was an excellent and efficient plumber. I do have a couple of other issues that I will be calling J & H about soon! So pleased. :)

J&H handled my service call in a polite and thoughtful manner. Paul, the service technician, arrived on time and was very professional in his communication style. He took time to assess the situation carefully. Yet, he also went beyond what I asked for -- he made some important adjustments to the laundry room tub. I appreciate Paul's thoroughness and attention to detail. He worked hard to ensure the job was done right. Overall, I was very impressed with J&H and will call this company again.

I had a leak in between the cone gasket and the tank. Not bad in and of itself but, my angle stop to turn off the water at the toilet was not working and started to leak as well. On top of those two issues, my exterior water shutoff for the house that is not maintained by the utility company also failed in shutting off the water. Ughh. I called J and H Plumbing and spoke with a nice enough lady. She explained that she could have someone come out fairly quickly who could turn the water off even if he wouldn't be the one doing the complete repair. She wasn't at all offended when I asked for clarification of the base rate/minimum time because I didn't want to pay two (2) 1 hour minimums. Jon Hopkins, the owner, was the plumber who arrived to turn off the water. He confirmed the issues. And, rather than have my house be without water while waiting for the next plumber he rapidly replaced the interior angle stop- in less than 12minutes from driveway to door. The next plumber, Jerry, who came out was polite, professional, and patient with my 16mos old who was very curious about what he was doing. He was pretty quick as well. He finished replacing the necessary parts inside the tank with a Flushmaster pro kit and the no-burst supply line. Then the exterior shut off valve replacement was just as quick. He did a nice job cutting out the old pipe and then re-soldering the new pipe and the new ball valve and a new hose bib.

The job went as good as I could of ever hoped for us and turned out just great. Just want to thank Jandh Plumbing for there promptness and to thank Jesse for all his help and his expertise in are project and we would use them again in the future for are plumbing needs

They gave me an estimate for a slab leak. On the estimate it said two men all day to fix the slab leak. Plus they were two other places to come out one to find the leak and the one to come in afterwards to redo the rod back. So I said if that’s what we were going to do we were going to do it. The first guy who came out he was fine and found the leak. The next day there was supposed to two men by my house. This was the son of the owner that gave me this estimate. The men that were coming out called me and said well they had to go by and pick up the shower. By the way I got estimate and instead of having the faucet back in which all had to be ripped out, I said we would just put in the walk in shower doors. The guy calls me the next morning quarter after seven and said that had to go and pick up the stuff and then comes out in the weekend and I was okay. He came in between 9:30 to 9:45. It was just one person and about 3:30. Jessy the son of the owner comes out. This guy ripped everything out and moved all the stuff out. He spends about an hour to an 1hour and 15 minutes there, showing him where the leak was and fixing the leak and he said that he had to go immediately for an emergency camp so he left. So the other fellow put the shower in and gets everything done and he says I am done and I am leaving. I look at the shower and there was no door on it. So I asked him where the door was and he said that they did not get me a door. I said fist of all I was supposed to have two men here all day because they put a walk in shower and supposedly think that I should have door on it. I called and talk to the owner who was very nice. This was like$2600 for one day for one guy for 7 or 8 hours. The owner looks into it and few days later he surprises me and comes and knocks on my door. He said here I brought you a door. So he said that I was right that it was in the estimate. I said that one would not think it would specifically spelt out anywhere. So he said that some people use the shower curtain so I said it was a shower that opens about 4 inches from the ground and a shower curtain would not keep the water in. So anyway he brought the door and the kid was supposed to come back and put the door in. Well I got the phone calls putting it off because this and that has come up. Meantime I am showing in my front bathroom. By the time the kid comes out, he comes he goes in and puts the shower door in there. I looked at it and it looked fine. But he had all flipped over to one side and then he leaves. So I went to open the shower door, like sliding it from one side to the other and it would not close all the way and there was about an inch on the each side of it and it did not fix in the flush. Not only that the handle on the outside of the door bangs into my bathroom door, so I could not slide it all the way to close my door. I called them back and he told me to put in on the other side. I said I cannot go in form the side that was up against a toilet. I said it I was not going to crawl over a toilet to get into the shower that not going to work. He said that he would send someone back there and that takes another a week or two. He then came there and said that my showers not flushed and that the wall and room was not square. But I told him and that was not my decision and he was supposed to even these things up with what they do. They told me that was the best they could do. So now I got a space on the sides because of the top on the shower comes over the handle of the shower sprays was so high up. This was a regular door and not a walk in shower door. It was a shower door that was put on a bathtub. So I had to bend over to get in and bend over to get out. The arm of the shower comes out and it would not turn the shower on. The shower was spraying over the outside on to the glass and on the floor on the toilet. I got to wipe this down every time. So now I called them again and told them it was not going to work. It was spraying water outside. So Jessy comes out there and we look at the handle of the door. So I told him that we need another handle to put on the door that was an inch thinner. He said that he would get the bar that comes down to lower the shower. This took another 3 weeks to come and he did not come this time because he was so tired of me at this point because I was find all the stuff wrong. Then he sent another guy out there and this guy put the kind of shower that I had there but it was different because of the width of it. It was not any fatter that my finger. So now the water has to come through the top piece travel down the skinny long piece that was 9 inches long. So the water that came out of the shower was very low. He told me to put these knobs on there. I told him not to put the knobs. They had already taken my shower rod. Thy ewer taken out of my bathroom and not put back and not only that once he put the shower he said he got a call and he had to do the painting all by myself. They did not put the base boards back on, did not paint around the shower because it had rot black stuff on there. Now he wants to put knobs on the door and I am so disgusted. Once they take the handle off it was not even on the inside. I was 64 years old and inside I had a bar across by the bathtub so I could hold if I had to fall. But now I have nothing in accept sold glass door with some shelf in the shower. This has been the most horrible experience it cost me $25000. I have the worst shower in the world. It comes out too little there no rail in there to keep me from falling and the doors do not close on the sides. I am very upset. I am going to get a lawyer and get my money back. I going to have someone to come out and fix it. I would recommend these people to anybody. They did not finish my work and I have to get some else to do it. One time I had break off from work and then they called to tell me that they were unable to come.

Our experience was very good. The plumber was on time, professional, focused on the service, fixed our problem, made suggestions for improvement, and charged a very fair price.

I have to say this is probably the best plumbing company I have ever used. I needed needed several items done and called to get multiple bids. J&H had a pretty good price on what I was asking on which was installation of PVB for my irrigation system and they were available same day where other companies couldn't fit me in until the next day or 2. I was originally scheduled for 12-2, but I was called and informed that the tech was in a car accident, stuff happens. but they immediatly got me to another tech who arrived just after 2. That first off is great service, they didn't just not show or call me a couple hours after my appointment time to inform me of the change. The tech who arrived was named Paul Q. He was very friendly great with my dogs and obviously knew exactly what he was doing as. I think next time I will request him again when I have more plumbing work done. His work was very professional and he cleaned up everything after he was done. I will definitly use this company in future for any additional plumbing work that I may need done.

Had a blocked kitchen drain and called for service. Within 10 minutes we received a call back from the plumber. He was here within an hours, fixed the problem and gave us a great price!. My husband also had a great time with Jerry. Thanks Jerry!

J& H came out exactly when they said they would and soldered in the new valve. We have used J&H before and our good experience this time means we will use them again.

Great experience with J&H Plumbing and Paul the Plumber!! What an exceptional person with great work ethics!! Paul was on time, polite, helpful and explained what was needed for my repairs. He worked from the time he arrived until the time he left. I even rescheduled more work for him the following week. I even squeezed in one additional job that popped up during the process. Paul was right there to fix the backed up drain. No hesitation on his part whatsoever. No saying, Call and reschedule, I don't have time.... NO.... He just fixed the problem!!! If you need plumbing work done do not hesitate to call J&H Plumbing. I am glad I did. Everything was done correctly, on time, had all the parts on his truck that was needed for the jobs and worked fast!! No dilly dally from this guy!! When you want the job done right call J&H Plumbing. There the one I will call!

We called J&H to have them fix or replace our hot water heater on Sunday. They were prepared to come out that day but we opted to wait until Monday so to not pay weekend rates. I received a call Monday morning as promised and given the hours of when they would show up. Paul showed up within the given window and went right to work. He was very polite, explained what had happened and did a great job installing the new water heater. It has been working great since.

2/9/27 Jesse Hopkins from J & H arrived on time, very professional and easy to talk to. All services were explained, and the end price we paid was lower than the original estimate. Did an excellent job, cleaned up after, and gave further instruction on how we could easily replace part of the drywall and paint needed from where the old vanity was removed. We have absolutely no further bathroom faucet leaks. We highly recommend this company!

Great! That morning the J & H office called us to say they would need to be about 2 hours late, due to an emergency, and kindly asked if it was ok. It actually worked better for us! They were able to "re-route" the plumbing connections for the hot and cold water, and now it's great to enjoy a warm shower in the winter, and a cool shower for the summer. Very professional, friendly, and once again the end price was a litte less than the estimate (he had thought it would take more time, but the problem was more easily addressed). Again, we recommend this company!

Very pleased with this company. They were helpful on the phone, offered to get the type of heater I wanted even tho it is not the one they normally install. The installer was at my house on time, carried out the job professionally, was very informative about what he was doing, and about the heater, as my knowledge of water heaters = zero. Would definately recommend this company to anyone needing plumbing services.
