Smokey's Garage Door

Very poorly. Tech visited house without spring. Asked to exchange garage door openers and left damaged one on the floor of the garage along with misc screws and wires laying all over. Required return visit and forgot the stability bar this time. Scheduled to return next day, no show. Called one month later, new tech arrived and attempted to sell us new garage doors. Finally installed stability bar. I will never employ this company again. We had a difficult time getting call backs from this company and their prices were very inflated. I used the recommendations on Angie's List as a guide and I have to say my experience in no way matches previous recommendations.

They were courteous and helpful on the phone, responded promptly (next day appt.), and gave us the service we requested. We didn't want to have to replace the door, and were glad they were able to repair it instead.

The repair worked fine for 3 months, then failed the exact same way. This company will only work in my area on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. It was noon on Wednesday, but they refused to come that day and would come on Friday at the earliest. They also advised me that there would be an additional service charge! WARNING, they do not stand behind their work!

Called to set date/time for someone to fix Garage Door for my Rental Property. JJ came out and knew what the problem was and also fixed the Rollers. He also left a sticker on the Garage Door for my Tenant. JJ was professional and on time with this job.. He also helped me with changing light bulbs inside the home and the Garage Door..Great Company!

Kevin and his team are great to work with. Amber is a great asset for their office management. They came promptly and had the opener swapped out in no time.

Excellent. They were fast, fair, gave me an exact quote and my bill was less than the quote (not by much but hey). The door we picked out looks fantastic. They were helpful setting the cars up to work with the new motor. The door and motor are quiet and functional.

Great experience. Arrived 3 hours after initial call. Very knowledgeable. Excellent work.

This is the 3rd time I have used this company. They are prompt, professional, and do a good job. I called late on a Thursday, and they were here 1st thing Friday AM.

GREAT JOB. FAST AND EFFICIENT. WORKMAN ARRIVED ON TIME AND WAS VERY PLEASANT.

THE GUY THAT ANSWERED THE PHONE SEEMED TIRED. I FELT LIKE I BOTHERED HIM. WHEN I EXPLAINED WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS, HE WASN'T VERY HELPFUL AND SAID I COULD BRING THE PART DOWN TO THEIR SHOP.

THEIR SERVICEMAN WAS COURTEOUS, FRIENDLY, & THOROUGH. HE EXPLAINED EXACTLY WHAT HE WAS DOING & WHY. HE RECOMMENDED SOME ADDITIONAL MINOR WORK BE DONE TO EXTEND THE LIFE OF THE ENTIRE UNIT. ROUTINE MAINTENANCE WAS PERFORMED TO THE AUTO DOOR OPENER TO ALLOW FOR EASIER OPENING OF THE DOOR. WE WERE COMPLETELY SATISFIED WITH THEIR SERVICE.

THEY WERE RESPONSIVE AND CAME ON TIME. WHEN THE OLDER DOOR WE HAD COULD NOT BE INSULATED (THE INITIAL JOB REQUESTED), THEY REPLACED THE DOOR AT A REASONABLE COST.

THE DID A GREAT JOB AND THE PRICE WAS VERY REASONABLE. WE RECEIVED A 3 YEAR WARRANTY ON THE PARTS AND 30 DAYS ON THE LABOR. THEY WERE ABLE TO COME OUT SOON AFTER WE CALLED.

QUICK RESPONSE. RETURNED THE DAY AFTER THE REPAIR TO FIX A RELATED PROBLEM AT NO CHARGE.

THEY WERE GREAT. THEY DID NOT REQUIRE A DOWNPAYMENT. THEY STOPPED BY THE HOUSE TO CHECK MEASUREMENTS PRIOR TO INSTALLATION. THEY HAD THE DOOR IN STOCK AND IT WAS INSTALLED IN LESS THAN A WEEK. I WAS NOT ABLE TO BE AT HOME. COMPANY INSTALLER WOULD WORK WITH ME AND HAVE ME SEND IN PAYMENT. THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB. HAULED ALL TRASH AWAY.

PROMPTLY REPLACED A BROKEN GARAGE DOOR SPRING AND REPAIRED SEVERAL OTHER ITEMS THAT WERE IMPROPERLY INSTALLED BY THE ORIGINAL CONTRACTOR. PRICE WAS COMPETITIVE. I WOULD USE THEM AGAIN.

THIS COMPANY WAS RECOMMENDED BY SEVERAL FRIENDS. WE CALLED FOR SERVICE AND THE COMPANY WAS PROMPT IN PROVIDING THE REPAIR. WE FELT THE PRICE WAS REASONABLE AND WE HAD NO FURTHER PROBLEMS UNTIL THE DOOR ITSELF BROKE AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED.

THEY DID A GREAT JOB FIXING THE GARAGE DOOR. THEY REPLACED PARTS AT ONE TIME AND THE ACTUAL OPENER AT ANOTHER TIME. THEY WERE PROMPT AND COURTEOUS. MY GARAGE DOOR IS NOW NOT THE LOUDEST ON THE BLOCK! THEY EVEN REPROGRAMMED ALL 5 OF MY REMOTES.

CAME THE SAME DAY I NEEDED HIM. REPAIRED THE SPRING QUICKLY AND EFFICIENTLY. ADJUSTED THE KICKBACK ON THE DOOR FOR NO EXTRA CHARGE.

VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE, THE DOOR OPENER IS 10 YEARS OLD AND WE THOUGHT WE WOULD NEED A NEW ONE BUT WAS ASSURED BY REPAIRMAN THAT EVERYTHING WAS FINE. EXCELLENT SERVICE.

THEY WERE VERY PUNCTUAL AND CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES. THEY INSTALLED THE GARAGE DOOR ORIGINALLY AND WE WERE PLEASED OVERALL.

THIS SERVICE WAS DONE WHILE I WAS AT WORK, THE COMPANY WAS HELPFUL IN CALLING ON THE PROBLEM WITHOUT ME HAVING TO TAKE TIME AWAY FROM MY CLASSROOM AND STUDENTS. THE SERVICE FEES WERE WITHIN THE RANGE OF THREE OTHER COMPANIES I CALLED FOR COMPARISONS. WHEN THE WORK WAS DONE, THE GENTLEMAN CALLED AND LEFT A MESSAGE THAT THE SERVICE WAS PERFORMED, ALL WAS NOW IN WORKING ORDER, AND IF THERE WERE ANY QUESTIONS, PLEASE CALL HIM BACK. WHEN I GOT HOME, I COULDN'T BELIEVE MY EYES OR EARS- THE DOOR IS SO QUIET NOW, I FEEL LIKE I HAVE A WHOLE NEW SET UP! IT WORKS BETTER THAN IT HAS IN THE 10 YEARS I HAVE BEEN IN MY HOUSE. THEY WORKED WITHIN MY SCHEDULE, ARRIVED ON TIME, FIXED THE PROBLEM, AND WERE ON THEIR WAY! GREAT RESULTS!
