**** HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE!!!**** I highly suggest you NOT use this company! In my opinion, their only goal was taking me for as much money as they possibly could. I was having thermostat issues and called the office the day after Christmas and told them that I believe my thermostat was faulty because my heat keep turning on and off repeatedly. They sent their tech Cory out the next day who looked at my thermostat and told me it was a "loose wire" and proceeded to charge me $120. ($80 for their "diagnostic" test and $40 for labor.) The technician then proceeded to tell me that besides the loose wire, I also needed new batteries in my thermostat and proceeded to try and charge me $10 for 2 AA batteries he installed. I told him that my batteries were just changed a couple weeks ago and I had an icon on the thermostat that blinks when the batteries are low and needed to be changed and therefore I didn't need his (insanely expensive) batteries. I then asked him if "loose wire" wasn't the problem if I would be charged for them to come back. He stated "no". The next day I was back on the phone with their office explaining that the issue was not fixed because my heat was still turning on and off repeatedly and once again told them, I believe it is a thermostat issue. They again sent their tech out, he then determined that yes, it was indeed a thermostat issue (tah-dah!) and then proceeded to charge me $135 for the thermostat and then another $80 for an hours worth of labor even though it only took him 15 minutes to change out the thermostat. I was totally fine with paying for the thermostat but I reminded him that I was told by him just two days earlier that I would not be charged for the labor of him coming back out. He said he had just called his boss prior to installing the thermostat and they told him he was not to honor what he told me and to charge me anyway. (***????) Now, I don't know of any reputable company that would charge their customers a total of $335 for a thermostat but these guys had absolutely no problem doing it. As a matter of fact I think that's what they intended to do all along... I believe they deliberately misdiagnosed the problem so they can come back out and charge you for a second trip and a second labor and "repair" fee. Because had the tech truly performed a "diagnostic test" on the first visit he would have determined that the thermostat was the issue and replace it the first time so he wouldn't have to come back out a second time. Any reputable AC company should know when there's a thermostat that needs replacing. It's not rocket science... So I proceeded to email the owner of the company Gary, and explain to him the situation. I told him that I didn't feel it was fair to be charged $120 for the first visit because a so called "loose wire" was not the problem and had his technician actually done a diagnostic tests he would have determined what the real problem was. Gary of course sidestepped the issue and refused to refund me my money for the first visit even though his technician had stated that I would NOT be charged for it if it had turned out to be a thermostat issue. I believe this company does nothing but scam people. I truly believe they knew what the issue was the first time they came and didn't fix it on purpose so that I would have them come back out a second time and they could charge me a second time. Gary told me that they work in good faith. I told him that if they were truly concerned about keeping their customers they wouldn't try and price gouge them with $10 AA batteries and then double charge them astronomical prices for issues that their technician should have fixed in the first place. I would highly, highly suggest you stay FAR away from this company. Don't give them your business because they don't care about keeping their customers, all they care about is making money at any cost. I am the process of filing a BBB complaint. Shame on you Gary, Lisa and Extreme Cooling!!! Anyone who tries to deliberately screw their customers out of money should not be in business. You will never get another dollar from me!!!!

We have our AC under home insurance, and called Old Republic for a list of companies that could help us get our AC fixed. I'm 9 months pregnant and our house was 95 degrees for a few days. The husband was out of town and I didn't want to call them in case it was user error. My husband called Lisa, but she said they were booked solid and working overtime through the weekend and even on Monday...it was Friday. She said she would try her best, but everybody had AC issues this week! Lisa was awesome- she put us on the schedule and said she would do everything she possibly could to get someone here. When I followed up with her later Friday afternoon, she said, "we won't go home until we get to you". As I sat in the house sweating I hoped she meant it! She called a bit later to let me know that Patrick was on his way. He came and within 30 minutes had figured out the problem and the AC vents that had been blowing in hot air all week started to blow in cold air. WOOHOOO. Super nice and explained what the problem was. Needless to say, baby and I thank him and LIsa for making us a priority. I don't think I could've lasted the weekend without AC!
